Chara A red heart flashed into existence in front of Chara's chest, where her heard would be if she even had one. She grinned. This heart wasn't exactly her weak point or something so basic as that--it was her SOUL. ...In a manner of speaking. Maybe it was the soul of someone else who had given it to her before. Regardless, it represented her life energy. If she were to die, it would shatter and she would be gone. ...Or would she. As Kana leaped up, swinging around, the attack seemed to be fast enough that it took Chara by surprise, sending her straight to the ground. One would think a hit like that might kill a little girl like herself. But she leaned up, turning to face the dragon with that same grin. Her eyes were wide. They were blood red. Her SOUL blinked in and out of sight several times after she was struck, and soon she stood, "Hehehehehe...." She lowered her head, her grin remaining as she stared into the dragon's eyes. In most cases, people would be terrified of dragons, but in this case, it might be the other way around. "I hate all of you..." Her young voice finally rang out. She said these malicious words with that same grin. "I will eradicate all of you. I will kill you. I will grow stronger." She began walking toward the dragon, slowly, menacingly. "EXP. LV. STRENGTH. DEFENSE. HP." Her smirk widened. "Every time a stat raises, that feeling..." Her eyes widened as well, looking more crazed. "THAT COMEDIAN... Hee...hee...hee..." This was all surely nonsense to Kana, but had she known the background... "Afraid of... LOVE... Hee-hee-hee...! But I am MADE OF LOVE..." In case it wasn't obvious, LOVE in this sense wasn't exactly what one would typically think. It didn't refer to surrounding yourself with people who cared for you. It didn't refer to finding someone to spend the rest of your life with. This was something much more sinister... "Now... JUST... DIE..." She raised her knife, swinging crazily at the dragon. Her knife, once again, would cut through her scales and into her body with ease similar to Wyrmslayers. "Your soul... will make me stronger...!"(( OoC: ))

Kana's eyes fixed on the strange red heart that appeared in front of the girl's chest, this was most certainly an odd thing to witness. There seemed to be a strange aura coming from it, was it power, or magic? She didn't know. But one thing was for certain, whatever it was had a purpose, it must have been important to her. Maybe even fueling her with the abilities she could do. "Y-Your crazy..." The dragon said, as strange as it seemed, she would be able to hear her very words, though with a strange echoing behind them. Her voice was clearly nervous, scared even, but she wasn't going to give up and run, not after what she did here. It seemed the pain in her body did manage to snap her back to herself, enough that she wasn't completely lost in rage.
"I'll end you instead! " Why did she regret saying those words? Clearly she didn't have the upper hand here, even in what she thought was an unstoppable dragon form. The girls crazed eyes were enough to send a grown man running, and while part of her wanted to do that very same thing, she positioned herself ready to attack. "I won't lose to you!" She yelled again, lunging forward in attempt to slash her down with her horns.
But that was a mistake. Anymore mistakes like this would definitely cost her life. It was the moment Kana moved into attack that the girl put out her onslaught of knife swings to the dragons body, cutting through her dragon scales with ease, topped with her previous injury this mystery girl gave her, Kana would feel her body weakening, the pain becoming to much bear for her to even keep her dragon form. And in those few seconds, the dragon was no longer as a brilliant flash lit up the area, revealing the light blue-haired teenager on her knees and covered in deep gashes and her own blood. "....Am..am I going to die here...like this? Papa! Mama! " Any movement she made caused even more stinging pain to course through her body. How was she going to escape this?! There was just no way..

Tohru Adachi "You wanna play hero? Then all you're gonna do is wind up dead..." As Chara made her way to the prone little girl, her grin widened. A human? And one that could shift into the form of a monster, no less. How much EXP would she gain from killing her? The thought was almost too exciting. She raised her knife, ready to deal the final blow. She wasn't even going to say anything else--as she swung the knife down... "MAGATSU-IZANAGI!" The girl paused, her head spinning to the sound of the voice. Though by the time she looked, a beam of pure, red electrical energy would slam into her, sending her into one of the buildings, only to fall to her hands and knees afterwards. "You know, I was wondering what kind of sick perverted freak would massacre an entire town..." The carefree voice came through, as Tohru Adachi stepped forward, facing Chara with Magatsu-Izanagi floating behind him. After a moment, though, the Persona was dismissed. "Come to find out it's a little girl..." His eyes narrowed, though the crazed look on his own face wasn't exactly gone. "Disgusting.""...Hehehe..." Chara slowly raised, her eyes widening in a craze. She began to walk slowly towards Adachi now. Several ShinRa infantrymen ran forward, getting into position and aiming their rifles at her. They ordered her to stop. She didn't. One fired. She stopped momentarily. "...Hee...hee...hee..." She kept walking. Her pace quickened."I don't really want to be next on the girl's chopping block..." Adachi stepped back, turning to Kana. "Hey!" He knelt down by the girl. "Ugh, you went and got yourself injured. How annoying." He summoned Magatsu-Izanagi again, who cast Diarahan on the young girl. Her wounds would completely heal, and she wouldn't be in danger of bleeding out anymore, though the pain wouldn't exactly go away as easily as all that. "A girl your age shouldn't have to be fighting..." His eyes narrowed slightly. "Come on..." He picked her up, surprisingly gently for someone with his reputation. He began walking at a quickened pace towards the city's exit. "Hold her off, boys!" He shouted to the infantrymen. Or as he would call them right now, fodder. He had a helicopter outside the city, all that mattered was that he and the girl escape. He didn't care about them."..." She suddenly rushed forward, her speed surprising for someone so small. She was taking the bullets into her body, but showed no signs of slowing down. Cutting with deadly accuracy, it only took a few slashes to kill the lot of them, their corpses falling to join the others here. "..." Chara slowly looked up, watching as the helicopter lifted into the sky... "..." Her grin widened as she watched. It didn't matter. There was nowhere to hide--even if they could run... (( OOC: ))

Kneeling into the blood-stained snow, Kana's reddening face grew more stricken with fear, a fear she didn't want to feel so soon in her life. She could feel the tears sting as they fell from her face from the bitter cold, the wind didn't help her case, nor did it help the pain in her body from the many wounds cut into her by one simple little girl. "...S-stop...I don't want to die! Please...!" But it didn't seem her tears were going to work on this cold-hearted little girl, the last thing she would see was her fate coming to an end, the girl was so close, and her knife...on it's way to end it.
Kana's eyes closed tightly, expecting to feel the next pain that would soon take her life......But it never came.. Instead, the voice of an unknown yelled out something she clearly didn't understand, though it did cause her to open her eyes. The young dragon princess's eyes went wide as she noticed the girl was no longer in front of her, but as she followed the trail all the way back, she would see it lead straight into one of the buildings. The girl didn't fully stay down however, though she was stunned only for a moment, it wasn't long before she was already beginning to walk forward, toward her ..rescuer? It was a older dark haired man, no one she knew of , but that didn't matter, did it? He just saved her life, and even more so when he cast a strange heal, or rather his summoned creature did. "....T-thank you.." She managed to say, sniffling as she looked up at him. Before she could get another word out, Kana felt herself lifted from the ground, and into the mans arms, which right now felt strangely comfortable, probably because he was warm, and through all the pain she was suffering, a little warmth was a great thing..
Within moments, she found herself in a even stranger place. A small enclosed metal ..flying object? What? "..Wait, Mr...What about..those people?? " The infantrymen, of course. She didn't feel very comfortable about them leaving them behind, though at the same time she really had no choice in the matter.

___ ___ "Mordi doesn't... wanna be alone..." Mordi had fallen asleep on that crate, laying over sideways. She seemed... pretty tired. It had been a stressful day, for a lot of different reasons. "Mor...?" She sat up, rubbing her eyes. She... could feel the earth vibrating. Was someone here?"Princess Mordi. Earth Witch. Sea Serenitian." Suddenly, a pale-skinned darkly dressed girl appeared before her. Her eyes were almost robotic. Mordi could instantly tell it was a Reaper. "'Daughter of primary enemy number two: Ephraim. Ally to family of primary enemy number one: Ein." Since Ein had ruined the Reapers's plan on multiple occasions, it made sense she would be prioritized as an enemy over even Ephraim."...!" Mordi shot up to her feet, her eyes narrowing. "Mor..." She was about to make quick work of this Reaper...Holding out her arm, a young boy, around ten years old, appeared, as she held him by the back of his collar. He was bruised and had several cut marks on him. He was conscious, but in pain. "Mordi must surrender peacefully and come with me to our realm, otherwise Demigod Seraphim will perish." She said. The boy she was holding was, indeed, Seraphim, son of Nero and Phoenix. Didn't they ever learn not to annoy a god? Apparently not. "I have placed a killing curse on Seraphim. If Mordi kills me, he will die. If Mordi does not come in the next sixty seconds, he will die. If Mordi comes with me, I will let the demigod free and he will live.""Seraphim..." Mordi grunted. There wasn't much of a choice here. She could certainly kill her, but if she wasn't bluffing, he would die. And besides, his life was worth more than hers... that's how she saw it. "...Fine..." She said. "Mordi will... go with you..." She said, sighing."Good." Nyx said, dropping Seraphim, who collided with the ground with a gasp of pain."M-Mordi... don't... I'll be... fine...""Mordi will... be fine..." She said. "Tell your father... not to try to help Mordi..." She said. Not that she expected him to anyway--he had made it clear to most people that he tried not to intervene in the affairs of mortals unless necessary. "..." And in the next moment, Mordi and Nyx vanished away in a black mist... (( OOC: ))

It hadn't been but a few minutes since the events here happened, and although later then she wanted to be by several minutes, Aven made her appearance to Seraphim, kneeling down she placed her hand gently to the largest cut on his arm, where a soft white cloth seemed to appear right into her hand, the edges along the cloth glowing of a soft gold energy, that energy full of healing properties. Letting the cloth settle over the cut, she wouldn't put any pressure to it, it would just sit there softly, allowing the healing energies to absorb into his body. "Seraphim..??? " She called to him, her eyes were closely on the verge of tears. He may not have been seriously injured, she knew he would be okay now especially, but that didn't make her feel any bit better. How could ANYONE attack a child? What kind of sickly, twisted creature would do that? Setting her arms under him gently, she would lift her little brother into her arms.. "I'm taking you home, everything will be okay.." But probably not for the Reaper who did this..

There were several things in her life she regretted. One was to never chase a giant bee while in wolf form, or any form for that matter! The second was swimming to far out because she was 'so' sure she could make it back, only to end up being saved by a certain mermaid princess. And third, well, there were just to many to really narrow her many mistakes in life! But today...today felt like it may be the biggest mistake entirely of her short crazy years of life. Despite the warnings not to go snow boarding in the chosen path, she went ahead anyway, because 'she knew she could make it back'. Well, that was all so very wrong, so brutally wrong... It was an hour past since her crazy jump off the slope, sending her into nothing but a white out. As far as her eyes could see, through the thick snow, was just that. Falling snow everywhere. And it was deep! So deep she couldn't stand walking in it when she tried to in wolf form, her paws were freezing almost instantly, so she would walk instead. The choice was all she had with how deep it was becoming, too. Oh yes, this was her worst choice ever. She was totally going to die here, and never be found. A Lily wolfcicle would be formed sooner or later..
She couldn't feel her hands, her entire body was SO COLD, it felt like one fall and she would just...crumble. Yep, because that felt so possible right now with how darn cold she was. Back at the Inn, she passed up a hot chocolate to go snow boarding. What she wouldn't GIVE for one right now! Anything with warmth!

"You poor thing..Look at you, freezing out in this bitter cold.." A voice Lily had come to hate fiercely, appeared there just several feet away from the near frozen girl. The cold didn't seem to bother her at all,and her smirking face never really faltered. "Do you want out of here? " She asked her, crossing her arms as she stood there. "I can bring you to a less.....chilly place. I'm certain you know of where I speak..Don't you, little wolfling? " She grinned at her. "Can you choose? Die here, alone, painfully in the freezing cold until that sweet little heart of yours gives out..Or come with me, and survive to be...Well, I haven't quite decided your fate. " It wouldn't be good, that much was obvious. "Though, I would hate to see such a valuable prize go to waste..I do like my meal warm, too.."
So her choice was clear enough. Somewhere in that plan of Krul's, she was going to be a slow dinner for the hungry Reaping blood suckers. To die here, or die with the Reapers, what would the young princess choose? "Eh, whatever. The best choice is not to waste.." In the end, Lily wasn't going to get a choice, and was simply teleported away with Krul, to the Reaper's realm......

Cloud Strife"All right everyone, let's mosey." It was quite literally right as Barret had finished loading his truck that he turned around and jumped at the sight of not only Cloud, but a rather large group of colorful individuals, some familiar, some not, around him. Cloud gave him a sarcastic little wave."s**t, you spikey little-! You really hafta jump out at a guy like that?!" He had luckily had a good grip on Marlene, who was sitting on his shoulder, looking incredibly cute all bundled up in warm winter clothing."Can you believe your daddy says such bad words?" Cloud said to Marlene, practically ignoring what Barret had said to him. "I need a favor, Barret.""Ugh, you always needin' something! Why the hell you drag all your friends out here anyway? I bet Aerith is having an awful time out here!""Oh, you think you can compete with a hero in a snowball fight?!" Zack shouted as he and Aerith had apparently separated from the group shortly after entering the city and had become engaged in a deadly battle--the battle of the snowballs. "You're about to see the true skill of a- buh!" And a snowball smacked him right in the face, sending him down. "Ohh, you're gonna get it for that one!""...Yeah, she seems in pretty bad shape." Cloud said flatly."Whatever, man! I forgot this place's pretty special to her...""Do all your comrades act like untrained imbeciles when they're on a mission?" Eula said, and though it was directed at Ephraim, she didn't care to lower her volume."Usually." Ephraim responded simply. "Though the mission is over for now.""Hah, I like this girl. She gets it." Barret said, flashing Eula a smile, which she received with a scowl. "...s**t, never mind I guess." She seemed a little uptight. "What the hell your motley crew want, Spike?!""Our airship got totaled, we need a ride.""A ride?! You think you'll all fit in my damn truck?! Wait, the Highwind got messed up? Damn, Cid's gonna be pissed."Isn't he making a new airship anyway?""I dunno! I don't talk to the man every damn day!" He sighed, thinking for a minute. "Well, I can find a few extra trucks I guess, but I don't want to help your unappreciative a**.""Tifa said please.""Ugh, fine! But only because it's Tifa! I'll go make some calls." He grabbed Marlene gently, lowering her off his shoulder. "Go say hi to Tifa and Aerith, and ignore Cloud. We don't get to see them every day--run along, sweetie." He said kindly, before turning and pulling out his phone, muttering to himself as he walked away and dialed a number. "Damn spikey making me call in favors when I'm on my out of this place--I'm freezin' my a** off up here!""...Well, I guess that went well." Cloud said with a shrug. "Hey Zack, you think we should-""Here it comes, my secret technique--Snowball Strike!!"Cloud sighed heavily. "Never mind." (( OOC: ))

[ Poor serious everyone, they were right to business instead of taking in such a rare moment of actual peace....and fun! Yes, while the rest of the crew were busy working things out with Barret, Aerith and Zack were far to lost in the fun of throwing scrunched up snow at one another, each sooo determined to take the other down! Aerith scooped up her white ball of snow, rearing her arm back and throwing it for Zack's head! She was no baseball player, but one might say she threw that snowball with great accuracy, or at least, a whole lot of luck! Falling into a fit of giggles as that very snowball came in contact with his handsome face, sending him down in the snow! "Of a..Zack angel??" Aerith playfully questioned, moving in before he could get up to stand and practically pouncing him where he laid in the snow, grabbing his wrists and .....moving them down, and up against the snow, to create a snow angel. Or at least somewhat of one! After a moment, she released him, grabbing herself a little handful of snow, and bopping it on his face again, laughing. Did snow just bring out the child in both of them?
Tifa crossed her arms in amusement, that was an easy one! She was rather lucky they had such a strong friendship with Barret in times like this. But enough of those thoughts, the sound of Aerith and Zack having so much fun only made her want to take some part of that same childish fun, even if it was just for a moment. And, while Cloud was turned away to Zack in the distance, he would feel the cold wet snow make contact with the back of his head, followed by a familiar laugh. It wasn't Yuffie's, but Tifa's..She stood there, getting ready to arm herself with yet another snowball. "Come on, Cloud! I won't take no for an answer, you WILL lose if you try to escape me! "

"Embrace your dreams, and, whatever happens, protect your SOLDIER honor." Perhaps dying gave someone a greater perspective about life, and the two here who had come back from death clearly didn't care how childish they seemed playing around in the snow. Then again, neither of them had ever been the type to suppress aspects of themselves, regardless of the looks it earned them or how it might impact other peoples' opinions. That was likely one of the many reasons they worked so well together. "Agh! Hey!" He said inbetween laughs as she took advantage of his position to continue her little playing on top of him. "Hey, these wings aren't-" And then came the snow against his face once again. "All right, you're asking for it now!" He grabbed her by the arms, pulling her a bit closer and into a little kiss, with his no-doubt now very cold lips and the snow covering parts of his face, with her pressing against it, she'd be in for a rather frosty kiss.Cloud's head was pushed forward slightly by the snowball, before turning and looking at who was probably his closest friend in a rare playful mood. He crossed his arms in an aloof fashion. "Not interested." Wasn't that just typical Cloud."Well, Tifa is very strong. I don't blame you for being too scared to battle her." Ephraim lightly teased."I'm not scared, I'm just not childish.""Oh, right, sure. Of course, that's good cover. We'll tell everyone that." He gave Cloud a little nod as if they had reached an agreement. One could practically see the irritation building on Cloud, though obviously not genuine irritation."Not interested!" He turned, starting to walk away from the situation to avoid being pelted by more snowballs from his very powerful lady friend. Seems Tifa would have to back up her words, given he was trying to escape!Ephraim took a few steps away from the rest of the group, crossing his arms as he watched several of them join Zack and Aerith in their frivolity. Though it was easy to consider this sort of behavior childish, it brought Ephraim back to simpler times, when they would play in the snow together, he, Eirika, and... ...There were three of them, then. Anytime he and Eirika had gone to Grado, Lyon had come to Renais, or they met in Serafew, the three were practically inserparable. And though they weren't children, they would still find the time to indulge in childish antics at times, such as this. Those times were the closest thing Ephraim truly had to a childhood, being raised in solitude as he was. Even with the things Lyon had done, he still did cherish these memories. And the past led him to the present, and the future he looked to--together with L'Arachel. He had made many mistakes, and it wasn't that he wouldn't change anything, but he could've done much worse. His wife, L'Arachel, who he would share his future with--who he would have children with. His sister, Eirika, who would always remain by his side, and who he would rebuild Renais with. He had lost much, but he still had so much to live for, and so much to protect. He would do all these things and more, starting with destroying Selene and breaking this cycle of misery once and for all. (( OOC: ))
