Ummm... ChaosSeadramon is a little more blue than that >.<Anyhoot, not the reason I'm posting here... Thank you guys for getting into the habit of sitting the source of the sprite! You don't know how much it really means to the original artist!
We never have any intention on using these sprites other than to just "play" with them and enhance our imaginations through roleplay. So, credit is always good.
I'm a tad outdated, but will update new sprites. I'll continue to credit the remaining sprites at a later time.
You are correct for the ChaosSeadramon's pigment, so i'll accept the sprite. I'll file it under the Topaz version. Since there was no ChaosSeadramon sprite, GW had recolored one. I think he chose blue because it seemed to appeal more on that level.
I suppose this only levels onto the individuals personal taste.
Would you rather use this sprite or that?
It's always great to know others are making sprites. For size-dimensions, I typically predict them. For example-
I once made a callismon sprite, but had absolutely no clue on how big it should be.
I always compare official sprite size on DTI cards, because I don't want to make it too big. I looked into Callismon if it had made any appearances to get a clue on how big it was. From there- I compared its figure, which reminded me of Daemon. So I resized callismon in order to fit Daemon's size.
Sometimes it can be confusing, but I pretty much wing the sizes. If you are unsure, you can always compare your sprite to a Gaia Avatar.
I can approve whether the sprite is decent or not, but it is really up to the Crew altogether or GW to officially release the species.
Oh, thank you. I think I already cited that artist on the front page. I just never bothered to pick up that Omnimon because no one ever wanted to actually fuse their Ancients together.
I'll file that sprite under Fan-made sprites.
For approving sprites.....I guess that would make it mainly "my" job...eh?
Anyways, to be clear, I can only stress to everyone to use decent sprites 'cause it really looks unprofessional for the guild if we use "choppy" images.
Of coarse I can't always be here to look at the sprites brought in, however I can always try to judge it whether it can be acceptable or not.
However- this is a public forum. Pretty much anyone can have a say in. emotion_c8
I think we recieved a lot of page views, or you did because I can no longer see the image.
That's why I set my photobucket for the DTI sprite to private and keep posting images from there to a minimum.

Ya I've been having problems with that, I made a gif a while back of my schools running back doing a flip into the endzone and it kinda exploded across the internet and now it kills my photobucket (mostly cause our team went undefeated and are playing for the National Championship) The weird thing is I've deleted the gif from photobucket but it's still usable some how and i don't know how to fix it. It starting to really piss me off. Any ideas on that (everything is set to private and the gif doesn't even appear on my photobucket anymore)

Either way, if you do set it to private it wouldn't matter because the bandwidth exeeded.
You would either have to wait about a month or so, or buy premium membership.
I used to have that problem because I would make banners and TP cards, so all of the sprites here were ruined. As a solution, I just made a separate account for them. Since they're all located in a private guild in this forum, it doesn't receive too much attention.
I was impatient.

I think you misunderstood, or I wrote it incorrectly.
I'm only trying to express that this is a public thread where everyone can approve/disapprove a sprite. Obviously, the Crew would be the ones to decide (Like I do, for instance) Although, when it comes down to the TP shop orders, it really is the individual who chooses which sprite they would prefer to use by specifying it (Like posting the Sprite in addition with their order.)
Most of the time, you all do a great job however..remember when you suggested the Fairymon?? The one with the Big WindWheel?
I said it was in a horrible quality and that it was too large, but someone was still desperate enough to use it in the DNA forum. (Not sure whether that went through or not.)
That just proves my example that we honestly have no "full" control over which sprites should be used.
I never meant to suggest that you or the other approve bad quality sprite, because I'm sure y'all don't. I'm not here all the time.
