(( Rong Wei + Ripley - Drinks Booth ;; TAG TO KYOU ))

The smile that had been on Ripley's face instantly disappeared the moment his name was spoken by this stranger - a man he'd never seen before. Instantly his mind ran options over about how such a trivial thing had come to pass - perhaps Rong Wei had mentioned his name in a drunken murmur? Unlikely, he thought, seeing as the man later went on to ask the woman her name herself. They were strangers to him, surely, yet his name had indeed been spoken.

Not wanting to seem rude right from the start, though certainly uneasy enough that he was displeased by what had just occurred, Ripley pushed the smile back to his lips and moved his hand down and out of sight, placing it on the small of the woman's back. Instantly Rong Wei's eyes opened wide with either shock or surprise, though the thin hiss she gave afterward was likely a sign she was not enjoying that small touch. She had not been shocked - yet - though by his subtle actions the Raeven was making it all too aware to the Chinese woman that he was unhappy and she would be paying for it if things did not end up going his way.

"Chill Ripley, he's...from the Lab, the same place I got you from. That's probably why he knows your name, so-"

Rong Wei's words were a hushed whisper and in muted Chinese, the woman thankful that her charge had taken to learning his lessons and words despite the initial hesitance and the task she'd had to accomplish to get him to do so. Seemingly accepting (for now) of such a response to his unasked questions, Ripley didn't move his hand. This was not over yet.

"Indeed, I am Ripley and this is certainly Hu Rong Wei. I would say I am pleased to see you again, but I must confess that I don't know who you are. You'll have to forgive my poor manners, she doesn't take me out enough to socialize with others so I'm often surprised to hear my name."

Big use of big words, and Ripley knew he was sounding either well spoken...or arrogant. It was funny how often those two things ran hand in hand with one another, though he certainly was trying to sound polite.

(( oceanside - seashells. Sorry purple! ))

Xuelian sighed in awe as the older Raevan placed their next find in the bucket. It was a small, cone-like shell, much like the ones that were depicted in the picture book. The girl reached inside and touched the shell, feeling the rough texture and coolness through her delicate fingertip. Vyn said the white disk she had picked up was a shell too, but it looked so much different than the one the rose Raevan had picked up. This must mean, then, seashells had different shapes and kinds, which made Xuelian all the more curious about what her next find will look like.

Trying to bend over like Vyn did, the teal Raevan searched the ground which they stood carefully. At the same place where Vyn had picked up the cone-like shell, Xuelian spotted a white tip sticking out from the sand. Curious, she wiped the sand away to reveal a shell that looked exactly the same as the one Vyn had picked up. Amused, the girl picked up the shell from the ground and placed it in her hand, then took out the other shell picked up by Vyn. There she compared the two, finding that her pick was slightly smaller than the one from the rose Raevan. Xuelian giggled, looking up at Vyn in an amused fashion. What was the word called...?

"Brothers?" She asked, sticking her palms out to show Vyn the two similar shells. A short pause followed, then, "mom and dad?"

Vyn smiled. “Yes. They could be mum and dad. Maybe we could find a baby?” The other flowery frei was quite pleasant in her childlike mannerisms and the idea she proposed about the near identical seashells was certainly endearing. Nodding she encouraged the other to place the seashell in the bucket before turning her attention back to the game. Whilst they had lingered other raevan couples seemed to be well on their way towards filling up their buckets and though Vyn wasn’t particularly bothered about winning or losing, she did want the other younger frei to feel good about taking part and commendation for some pgood finds would do exactly that. Unfortunately there did not seem to be an abundance of shells in their surrounding area. Possibly snapped up by other couples of simply not washed up by the tide – they would have to drift a little way elsewhere to find some good finds for the bucket.

However, before flapping and moving down closer to the shore where freshly washed up treasures might be lurking Vyn picked up something pretty but not necessarily important within the context of the contest. Turning the stone over in her hand she admired the white surface laced with pretty blue veins. Turning to her companion for the contest she offered it to her.

It’s not a shell, but it’s pretty anyway. Do you want to put it in the bucket. You could take it home to remember the day?” She suggested. The newborn seemed to be the type to enjoy such things. She was a pretty thing herself after all. Maintaining her friendly disposition Vyn nodded in the direction of the ocean. “Let’s go have a look over there. We might be able to find some more shells.” Pressing the stone into the blue haired girl's hands she gave a confident flap of her wings and headed to where the ocean's salty brined licked at the smooth sand.

(( Oceanside - Roll 4/6 - Pretty Stone ))

The hand on his shoulder startled him, though he didn't jump. He turned his head, profile in sharp relief over the held shoulder, his wings shifting as though they'd open though he barely managed to keep them tucked in tight to spare knocking Xiu's hand off. The demon's skin felt like it was prickling and burning under the Pi Yao's touch, though he couldn't say why. Zul lifted his blue eyes from the hand to Xiu's face, his smile tight at the strange discomfort. "You aren't very talkative," he said by way of answer. Sure, he saw the look of unspoken question, but he wasn't about to be the only one talking. Xiu had always been a source of wonder for him, from their very first day meeting in the mall, but he could not say...he did not understand what was going on now.

"We should finish so we aren't late for the next game." He awkwardly patted the hand on his shoulder and floated onwards, eyes scouring the sand in a distant, not-entirely-there manner. Zul wasn't even two years old yet and somehow he was feeling more detached from the others, day by day. He vaguely wondered if it had something to do with learning, being educated, or maybe it was shedding his own ignorance. But how did that account for the boiling sensation in his chest and the swallowed-back growl he felt with his partner--?

Zul leaned down to retrieve something sparkling in the sand, the warm granules filtering through his fingers as he lifted his next prize: a stone? The demon lifted a brow as he really looked at it, turning it this way and that; it was somewhat opalescent, but it looked like it had something imprinted in it, like a piece of something had been stuck to it forever more. He didn't know if a rock constituted as a shell, but he wasn't going to complain. Placing the rock carefully aside from his other treasures - not wanting any jostling to break his fan - he looked around again, half-listening to see if Xiu would offer an explanation for his silence.

(( Oceanside ))

Xuelian nodded eagerly, handing the bucket to Vyn to allow her to put her find inside. She then proceeded to follow the rose Raevan, as she herself was not experienced enough in knowing where to look for seashells. As the two approached closer to the ocean Xuelian kept looking back in her bucket, wondering what exactly Vyn had picked up. The rose Raevan said it was not a shell, although it looked no different than the white disk she had picked up initially. She questioned the definition of seashells, were they not all pretty things found at the seashore? The game seemed simple at first, but now the girl felt like she was overwhelmed with the incoming information as each new shell (or stone) was picked up.

By now, the two Raevans were very close to the ocean. Xuelian felt the blue water brushing up against her ribbons. The curiosity earlier had returned. She wanted to try absorbing the sea water. The girl bent over and touched the ocean, but before she was able to take a drink a small piece of paleness caught her eyes. She abandoned her idea for the moment and picked it up. It looked similar to the shells the two had found before, though it looked slightly larger than both of them.

"Child?" Xuelian asked Vyn, "big child."

[ Vyn. Above the surf. ]

Looking at the new shell procured by Xeulian Vyn’s brow delved into a small frown. The ribbed white object wasn’t the same type as the two shells from earlier and the naive suggestion that it was a big child didn’t quite fit. Instead the rose offered the cloud an alternative. “Maybe it’s a grandpa?” She turned it over; admiring the finely shaped shell before placing it carefully with its family members in the bucket Xeulian had surrendered to her. “We could make a whole family. Would you like that?” She asked, smiling at the other. So far the blue haired youngster had seemed to be following the idea of a family quite well and if she had trouble identifying what was, and wasn’t, a shell picking things based on similarity may well help.

To affirm this technique of teaching the girl Vyn bobbed out over the surf and looked through the ripples of breaking water. It was littered with much more debris than the beach, bits of seaweed, more pretty stones and... yes. A shell or two. Selecting one which looked bigger than the mother and father shell already collected and around the same size as grandpa she presented it to Xeulian. “Grandma.” Beaming, beginning to get more into the game herself, she dropped it into the bucket before flicking her wet fingers at the other raevan still lingering on the very edge of the water.

Your turn. Maybe you can find a child now?

[[ Oceanside --> Popsicle Stand ]]

Varun deflated visibly when Melisande declined his offer. Polite as the Muse was, his wings folded and his headfins flattened. The light feeling about the Leviathan evaporated into the salty air, and he allowed his pale hand to fall to his side awkwardly. Still, he was unable to take his gaze of the blond as she began her retreat, inclining his head as a means of goodbye. "I will see you," he replied as the Sigel departed, voice barely above a whisper. He stared into the bucket for a moment and straightened.

He needed to return the bucket to the popsicle booth for Melisande. He could figure out what to do afterward. Shifting, Varun hovered across the beach quickly as he avoided the other Raevans still searching on the sand. It would be unfair to bother them now, wouldn't it? Besides, he was on a mission. He could not let his new friend down and-

"Prajna."

His voice was flat, neither pleased nor unhappy as he addressed the other fiery redhead. Varun was never quite sure where he stood with the Star; it was an incredibly exhausting (and secretly, quite thrilling) relationship. Shifting his grip on the bucket, he flared both wings and the fins on his head as he approached the other Frei quickly. His expression did not give away anything; the last time they had met, it ended badly. Varun said as much.

"It has been a long time. Where have you been?"
PostPosted: Fri Jul 30, 2010 3:14 pm

((Popsicle stand))

As Prajna turned around, about to demand its approaching guardian what this "popsicle" was, its eyes stopped short on a familiar half-torso making its way towards the same stand.

"Prajna."

Hearing Varun say the Star's name was electrifying, though Prajna could not tell if that was a good or bad thing, suspicious of this chill running up its incomplete spine. The Star noted no affection in the other's voice ...as it should be. Though memories were hazy, Prajna did remember when they had last been together: during the time of the "heavy sickness", during the time where all Prajna knew was sweat and sleep. It was a darker moment in the Frei's short life and unfortunately, it was a moment shared among acquaintances. Prajna's body stiffened as Varun got closer, a bucket in one hand. The cerulean eyes flickered to the Levianthan's fingers, watching for any sign of attack. It watched in part agony, part defensiveness as the other redhead's fingers curled a bit tighter around the bucket's handle. The fins on his head also flared abruptly, seeming threatened.

Prajna swallowed hard before composing itself and organizing its androgynous features back into their normal state of indifference, "Prajna was after doors often. It has been..too hot."

The Inverted Flame tossed its bangs aside again, the two buns on the sides of its head bouncing in a cute manner that seemed to contradict any seriousness on its face. Namini had just approached the duo, an instinctive concern dressed in her doll like features, "H-hello..Are you one of Prajna's fr--"

Prajna threw its hand in front of the girl's mouth and shot the young guardian a look of absolute disgust, before turning its icy gaze back to Varun. This was Varun and Prajna's moment. No one else was to interfere. There were..many questions Prajna had pressing from behind its lips but now was not the time to ask such things. Now was the time to listen...

(( Popsicle Booth - Tag to Ravi and mention of Storei ))

In all of her excitement, Anita had overlooked the fact that Anya had been the one to knock over the tray. In fact, she had barely even heard it amongst the commotion of the stall. Looking over Zeke's shoulder as he moved to pick it up, she smiled with a slight curve, one of amusement and slight pity.

Having to work at a party probably sucked.

"Well that's good," she smirked, pushing her hands into her swim trunk pockets. And then the name, the long and lovely name that was familiar - she had voted for that name. Turning to look across the beach, her eyes landed on Anastacia and Rivener once more, the two seeming to enjoy themselves. Anya's face held little expression but she was digging and picking through the sand like any of the others, finding some things and placing them into the bucket. "That's a good name," Anita nodded. She couldn't rightly think of one that suited her more.

At the mention of the shadow rose Frei speaking with Anya, Zeke's reaction seemed less than thrilled. If it could be compared to anything, it was similar to a reaction a friend made upon hearing that two ex-lovers, prone to violent arguments, had reunited and been seen together. Decidedly odd. "Yeah, with Vyn..." she repeated, her tone hanging with a sense of confusion, eyes silently asking 'is that alright?'. This reaction did not last long and he quickly changed the subject to Tango.

In reaction to having his name called, Tango turned his head, ears folding back slightly as he panted away, looking as though he might fall asleep sitting up right then and there. Already he had tired himself out, but who could blame the dog? "Ah, thanks," Anita chimed, taking the lemon one and giving it a test lick. Not very sour, but it was still obvious what flavor it was. Reaching over to one of the popsicle bowls, Anita took one of the cubes while being careful not to touch any of the other popsicles, and held it out to Tango in her open palm. Gingerly, he turned his head and took the cube between two teeth, promptly laying down and gnawing at the cube. When she went to the drinks booth, she would get him some water in a coconut.

Anita's eyes and posture shifted immediately, resting her elbow on the counter of the booth, chin in hand with her back curved as she gave attention to the popsicle, though her gaze was locked on Zeke -- a mockery and joke made of two adults exchanging private information. Indeed, she was pretending to be hitting on him, if only for a moment. The guise she found amusing faltered immediately and she nearly dropped her popsicle, choking on it slightly and she knelt down to recover.

A boy?!

Catching her breath, she looked up at Zeke as though something terrible and wonderful had just happened, an intense mix of fright and wonder in her eyes, and her short coughing fit had made them tear up, only adding to the appearance. "A boy!?" she whispered harshly, expression exaggerating comically. This would make choosing a name easier, and harder at the same time. She stayed there, staring up at the colorful man until she felt a few drops on her knee and, realizing her popsicle was melting, quickly lapped at the bottom and returned to a stand with a small propelled bounce. "Oh man. I can't wait to tell Zul, he's gonna be so excited," and like with Anya, her eyes traveled to find the bronzed Frei, who was lingering on the beachfront with a white Sigel she had never seen. When she turned back, there was the minty Raevan approaching, seeming quite excited about something. Anita's eyes lit up, accompanied by an aimless smile.

Would her Raevan be as green?

((Roll 3/6 - Pecten Raveneli
Oceanside - Anastacia
Popsicle Booth - Zeke ))

"Ohh, wow! Nice work Anya! This is more like it!"

Greedily she took in that praise, lofting herself just that much higher. That was most definitely something she could get used to and was easing the miffed feelings out of her. She didn't even mind that Rivener tailed her to her hunting ground, breaking free of the Sigel's path and taking off along the wet-dry line. The surf came in and she floated higher, dislike of water still apparent even if this sort wasn't going down a drain. She could still feel it though - a certain power with the way the foam brought things in and just as easily yanked them back out again. It could do that to her if she wasn't careful, but luckily for her she was. She started to dig in the sand - ergh that gritty feeling! - but was time and again made to pause as Rivener found a new shell. Much better than paper! They would win this, definitely, especially as the older Raevan found that other piece of the colorful shell she had found. That had to be worth many points.

The question rang in her ear and she nearly jumped, lost in her thoughts of what would come of winning. Solitaire brought a cascade of cards and then fireworks that only vanished when she wanted them to. That was nice, but this was different. What would this yield? Still, no time to linger as she turned her multiple gaze up towards the red and black male, starting to shake her head before something decidedly not sand nicked against her fingertips. She dug a little more and pulled out a pecten raveneli, and unlike the shell she had pulled out before, this one was whole despite being a half. Red-purple outside with a white inside and ridged from side to side...It was appealing and something she was also keen to keep. She held it up between her fingers then plopped it into the bucket. Maybe this game wasn't so bad after all.

"One of the ones you said you liked if I remember right." Zeke smiled at Anita, remembering back to those conversations and texting parties they had had. Jeez...Felt like so long ago now! His smile tapered off as he looked back to Anita, finding her with that curious but uncertain look on her face. When she said Vyn's name again, he felt like he had to clarify. "Vyn's the first Raevan I told about Anya's eventual birth." He rolled his shoulders, giving her an apologetic look as well - this was supposed to be a fun day, and he wasn't the sort to ruin other people's good times. "Needless to say, Vyn didn't take it well, which is totally okay since...Well...She went through quite a bit during the outbreak. I can understand that, but she also didn't agree to meet with Anya when she was born so...You can see what I'm getting at."

He gave a low chuckle, sounding sad. Out of the few he could remember telling - Zul knew already and was pretty exempt from this but still counted, Vyn, Xiu, and Cordelia - only Xiu had been willing to meet the Frei when she was born and even then there had been heavy reluctance and caution on the now-Sigel's part. Again, understandable given what happened, but it still made Zeke realize what a black sheep he had on his hands. Not that he didn't love her any less of course, but still. She'd be ostracized all her life for something that she truly had no part in and that Kyou assured would not happen again with the right precautions in place. He took a bite off his popsicle and like Anita almost choked as she reacted to the news. Bingo! Perfect reaction! Zeke burst out laughing!

"A boy!" He repeated to really nail it in for her, laughter impeding his words quite a bit and fast losing breath. "A male! Masculine pronouns, the color blue, football and comic books! Not quite top heavy if you get what I'm saying!" And he mimed the shape of breasts with his popsicle tucked safely in his mouth and surrounded by that grin. Why hadn't he thought to pack that camera?!

[[ Popsicle Stand ]]

Varun’s expression flattened more, if that was at all possible, when he finally took in the way Prajna was dressed. He’d always assumed the star to be male, but… His attire would be very strange for a male. He’d never dress like that, certainly! Still, he listened to his…well, whatever Prajna was, he was Varun’s. And he listened to him, wings receding just so as the tension was released from the joints. He shifted and swung the bucket once, water sloshing about inside.

"Varun has been inside too." A pause. "I have been inside, too," he amended. "Kinsey, keeps me inside. Like a prisoner." He spat the word out, a look of disgusted warping his delicate features when Prajna's own guardian approached. The Leviathan barely remembered the girl, he was feverish when they first met, but he did not feel very threatened by her meager attempt to speak with the fiery pair. Still, he curled his lips.

However, instead of snarling at the girl, his hand snaked out with lightning speed, and he grasped Prajna's wrist firmly. "Do not," he hissed, green eyes flashing, "do that to her." She was a lady. Even if she was Prajna's lady, he would not stand to see her treated like that. After a tense moment passed, he released Prajna's hand and gave him an appraising look.

"You should see me more often. See what I have caught." He motioned to Pasha's bucket, clearly deciding that he still wanted to be friendly with Prajna. It was too much effort to be at odds with him. (Him, right? Varun was never entirely sure...)

((Popsicle stand))

Namini released a small "Ah!" of surprise when she saw the stranger-Frei extend its hand at an impressive speed and wrap his fingers around her Star's delicate wrist, "Please, Prajna meant no harm."

The teen glanced between the fiery redheads for a moment, and when she saw that Prajna was unaffected by the male's act of dominance, surprised, the brunette felt maybe it was best to sit this one out. David [i[had been nagging her recently for babying the Star... As Varun released Prajna's wrist, Namini placed a maternal hand upon her charge's shoulder and flashed her redhead a tender smile, "I'm going to go walk around so Prajna, you take care okay? I'll leave you and your.. acquaintance alone."

And with that, the curly haired teen, with a small bounce in her step, left the lovers to quarrel. The minute Namini was out of sight, Prajna's signature smirk crept onto its features, mirroring the Leviathan's own Chesire grin, "Prisoner Varun says? Not one thing like ay party ment with David. Television shows no good shows more now. Hot too much for cool more air is meaning you pay more, Namini tells Prajna."

The Star rubbed its wrist gingerly, its blue eyes still drilling into the other redhead's silhouette. What was different about him? As Varun continued to talk, nearly splashing the Star with water residing in the bucket, that's when Prajna noticed it. Without any forewarning, like always, and without any consideration, like always, Prajna speedily flew up to Varun and released the Leviathan's crimson locks from their ponytail, a pleasant smile decorating its lips. Waving the hair tie in the air, Prajna burst out into a lighthearted laughter suddenly and exposed a more playful side of itself, "Prajna will not see Varun if not regular Varun like this. Too hot yes? Varun... can Prajna show Varun something nice?"

The Star pointed to its own buns and wiggled its head side to side, creating that "cute" appeal once more. Prajna seemed to be beaming...It had been too long since the Star had been with its "friends."

EDIT;;
Just then, Prajna's eyes flickered to something familiar laying across the counter. Playfully snapping Varun's hair tie against its pale wrist, Prajna floated over to the counter and its eyes skimmed the list of scribbles.

"Vah-roon.. Varun? Varun," the Star's voice stated flatly before turning its attention back to its companion. It stopped its snapping and instead pointed a slender finger at the page, "What is this? Is it something Prajna can do with Varun? ...Yes. Like Varun, yes?"

Prajna picked up the pen laying beside the clipboard curiously before squinting, positioning its hand carefully and scribbling a long mess of what looked like alien symbols. The Star was now beaming. Yes the calligraphy was beautiful but it would have held more meaning had the Star made it more legible. Prajna turned to its crimson haired Leviathan and laughed, "Just like that. Prajna are of great things, yes?"

"Grandpa..?"

Xuelian tilted her head. She had only learned the immediate family members from the picture books, and was unfamiliar with the other family members. Vyn did suggest to make a whole family, so "grandpa" and "grandma" must be family members as well. The teal Raevan nodded to herself, quite satisfied by her reasoning. She nodded at the older Raevan's suggestion, happy that Vyn agreed with her suggest names for their seashells.

The game was not over, Xuelian could see several other groups of her race searching the seashore for shells. She noticed that in the path of one of them, a pale piece was left behind. Judging from her previous experiences, Xuelian immediately concluded that it must be a seashell also. She followed the other's trial and came across the abandoned seashell, taking it out of the sand and held it in her palms, observing and trying to put a label on the new-found shell. The shell looked nothing like the previous ones they had included in the family, and more like the first piece she had picked up. Hesitantly Xuelian looked back at Vyn, holding out the clam shell to show the rose Raevan of her new collection.

"This do not look like their child." The dainty Raevan concluded, sulking a little as she did not find what they hoped to find. "But this is seashell?" She asked Vyn with a hopeful expression.

((Another sand dollar ))

Xiu felt a stab at Zul’s words. Alright, this situation had been going on for some time but nevertheless it did hurt. You’d have thought that reading books about naïve people being tricked would have warned you against shady type characters but books were misleading. The reader knows that that was the bad guy and that he was out to get the main character. In real life, things were a lot less straightforward. But besides that, why was Zul giving him that…odd smile? Like…like he was…constipated or…something….

Scratch constipated. It had something to do with defecating (which as far as Xiu knew, raevans did not do) so perhaps the term…’strained smile’ would have been better. Watching the Frei leave him, Xiu searched for his notebook and pen. He was getting rather good at writing microscopically to conserve space. Already he could fit a good twenty rather cramped sentences in a page but…

Turning to a new page, Xiu wrote ‘I have lost my voice. Sorry’. Then hoping that the frei had learnt how to read, the Sigel floated after Zul and showed him the book. While the other took a moment to register the words and meaning, Xiu took a quick snatch in the sand to bring up a …
Another sand dollar; although being rather out to sea, this sand dollar was bigger than the previous one had been. Xiu wondered if he should toss the smaller one out but at the last moment decided against it. Placing the new found item into his pail, Xiu waited patiently for Zul to respond.

((Delia=Seashell -> Popsicle Booth (Roll 6/6 – A piece of paper) // Ebs=Drink Booth))

A kid? Cordelia was positive the ocean was to blame! Poking her black head out from under the Sigel’s shadow, sure enough her grey eyes spotted the human fledgling laughing it up at having disturbed the floating duo. Her scales crinkled into a stern frown, remembering the stupid child from Halloween way back when. Delia was really starting to hate children, human ones anyway.

Perhaps it was wise for Lazarus to take charge then and drag the basilisk away, there was no telling whether she would act upon some very strong feelings of flinging the shoe rather childishly right back at the mischief-maker. And with the boy’s mother just now coming on the scene to scold her son, it wouldn’t have turned out well for the Raevans.

With a bit of pout still protruding from her lips, Cordelia looked around and then in her bucket. She wasn’t exactly sure how many shells they were suppose to collect, but between her and the incubus, the snake supposed they’d have enough to win. Nodding, “Okay, this should be good. Huh?” Curiously the girl watched as her partner suddenly dived over a nearby rock and fished out another shell like the mad one he had earlier. Delia laughed, “That one’s HUGE! King of the shells! Or at least the ones we have.”

Twining he arm through one of Lazarus’s as they made their way back towards the popsicle stand, Cordelia hugged the bulging bicep and smiled brightly. “I had fun being your partner today. We should do more fun things again soon, okay?” She spied something white out of the corner of her eyes, but ignored it when the snake realized it was only a piece of paper. Yup, looked like they were heading back towards the main part of the beach where people thought it okay to litter the most despite all the trash receptacles around.

Ebony inclined her head further down the bar and noticed a few familiar figures sitting there. It’d been a long time since she’d seen We’rika, remembering all too clearly how he hadn’t been there to take care of dear, sweet Sevilin when he’d needed his guardian most. Narrowing her eyes, the Brit prayed for his sake that the watery Frei was being given more proper care now.

It was then that her head snapped over to Ripley and his rather loud remark regarding his caregiver’s drinking habits. This made her frown more, not just because it was rude regardless of whether it was true or not, but because Ebony still couldn’t shake this undeniable vibe of foreboding she got whenever she was around the sphinx. Nevertheless, she gave a greeting. “Ello Rong Wei and Ripley.” Another moment before she took a chance and actually decided not to be rude towards the huichol also sitting nearby. “We’rika…it’s been a while.”
