"Thank you Jerome." Koyuki smiled and reached once more into the bag before positioning herself on her lover's lap to sit sideways and put the bowl on her leg so he wouldn't be reaching and eating over her. Flicking her wrist up she held out two pairs of chopsticks and a fork, grinning up to him. "I never remembered to ask if you were familiar with chopsticks so I brought you both." She chuckled and with her free paw she positioned the sticks with ease before picking a few things up with them. "Itadakimasu!" She chimed and popped them into her mouth with an elated little sigh. "It's delicious...."

"Can't say I have" he said as he moved an arm around her shoulders and adjusted himself to allow her to sit comfortably, along with his comfort as well. He opened a paw wanting to receive the fork if possible but not going to argue if he got the chopsticks....not that he would know how to use them. "Of course it's delicious...you made it" he said squeezing her just ever so slightly

"Good to know then!" The vixen chuckled and placed the fork into his paw and tossed the spare chopsticks back into the bag with ease. Before he could even use the fork she reached back down with her chopsticks as he got comfortable and that strong arm found its way over her small shoulders. Leaning her side into him, she lifted up the chopsticks which had grabbed some of the food so he could have a bite.
"I'm still impressed that your flattery seems so effortless, its like you don't even have to try." She smiled thoughtfully, taking a moment to rest her head against his chest; thankful that without the chest plate on she could easily hear the heavy but rhythmic beating of his heart.

Just about as he was going to fork some of the food, he noticed she had beat him to it and had offered some to him. Without pause, he opened his mouth and put his lips around the end of the chop sticks, sucking in the mouth watering meal. "god this is delicious" he chewed and tried not to slobber all over himself.
"It's not hard...I don't know how I got the charm..but hey...you can't complain right?" he mused, taking his fork into the bag and nabbing some more of the delicious meat

"I am glad you like it...." Then again, he seemed to like everything the put infront of him. If she wasn't confident in her cooking then she would have thought he was just being polite, yet even from Nariko who also would eat just about anything she'd gained a truthful opinion when she tried new things. It was almost refreshing that her daughter wasn't afraid to voice her opinion.
"Of course not." She beamed, lifting herself up to take a few more pieces into her mouth with her chopsticks. "It just keeps me wondering where you got it and how I got you." A faint grin stretched on her lips, curling her tail around behind him to linger on his hips. "What have been your usual missions? Scouting?"

"Of course.." he said through another biteful of the meat. He had to tilt his head back to prevent some of the saliva from his mouth seeping out and creating more of a mess. He grinned when he finally got his mouth orgasm under control, and took some more of the meat, preparing once again to fight his senses.
"Usually. Sometimes I find stuff, but nothing truly dangerous" he aid through his slurping. It wasn't all bad. Shoot, half the time, he was just trying to get a kitty out of a tree, but he was still on the look out. Just in case something did go wrong

"That sure puts my mind at ease! Here I thought you were always putting yourself in danger." Musing gently she took a final bite of the dinner with her chopsticks and felt pleasantly full. "Well...I'm all done. Finish up darling, and i'll get this put away in the meantime!" Koyuki beamed and snuck herself out from her mate's lap and stood, making her way over to the side of the fire to pack up the dishes and utensils back into the basket.
Not that he would be in any real peril, since she was sure he didn't run into the covenant too often! Hoisting the basket up, she walked over to the tent and crawled inside to put it away. It was hard to believe that tomorrow she'd be heading out on a journey. Gently running her paw along the length of her arm's armor, a smile crept on her face.....it seemed to just be looking up from here.

He nodded and decided it best to finish his food rather than muster a reply. As soon as she left his lap, he swallowed the last bit of his food and looked to the deer. "What do you think we should do with it?" he asked, standing up and looking at it. He was sure if he left it out, something would come to eat it...but..that would mean something would be close to them. He didn't wish to risk that.
He looked to find his mate before seeing she had already made her way to the tent. Looking up to the sky he saw there was a fantastic moon, so he quickly squelched the fire with dirt, momentarily admiring the cliff side view

Perking her ears to the sound of her mate, Koyuki thought for a moment...it was a bit wasteful for them to just let it rot...but she wasn't sure they wouldn't need it till tomorrow dinner if that. "I'm not sure! I don't have anything to package it....unless we're willing to run it back to the house. Will you eat more?" Koyuki called out as she willed the armor away and then watched as her old clothes materialized once more on her body.
Moving out of the tent once more as she readjusted her hair, she tilted her head with a smile to see him admiring the the views...while she admired him. "Unless you want to be charitable and give it to some animal?"

He heard her reply from inside the tent and pondered it. He wasn't likely to eat more..especially if they couldn't package it. He soon looked over to see she was not far by, fixing her hair of all things. "I could always toss it over the cliff. I'm sure something will find it" he remarked, looking over the edge to see although it was quite a fall, it wouldn't have been anything out of the ordinary.
"It's up to you. I don't mind catching more food if we need it" he nodded, looking back over to her

"Sounds like a good plan to me!" Koyuki gave a thumbs up as she walked over to his side and looked down, noting the considerable drop. At least then nothing would hopefully be stopping by for a meal if they threw the carcass down there.
"Besides, it'll probably smell ripe in the morning if we leave it...from the colours it looks like tomorrow will be a nice one." Smiling happily, she looked back to the deer and mused. "Besides, watching you hunt would be something to see...." Trailing off, she cast a sly glance to Jerome....then again he looked so cool in whatever he seemed to be doing.

"That is pretty true." he commented as he walked over to the dead animal, already attracting flies and insects galore. He untied it from the tree and hefted it over his shoulder, walking over to the cliff and tossing it over, watching it fall lifelessly and crashing through the foliage and trees with a thud. "Well that takes care of that" he commented wiping what little blood from his under suit.
"Me? Hunt? It's nothing new." he mused as he wrapped an arm around her small shoulders and lead her back to the tent. He wasn't sure exactly what was in store for them at the moment being, but either way, he was going to enjoy it

Watching quietly as he retrieved the dead animal from the tree and bring it back to the cliff side, Koyuki couldn't help but look over and watch as it sailed down the length of the cliff before disappearing with a sickening thud. Making a face she shivered in thought. "Thank goodness it was dead..." She muttered, but was soon distracted by a strong arm around her shoulders.
"Maybe for you..." Koyuki added, grinning softly as she'd never hunted in her life....or seen anyone do so. Giving in to being lead back into their tent, she slipped inside to bid the evening away...more than ready for the next day...even if it would be a while still till she actually ended up sleeping.

He nodded in agreement. Though he was used to killing, it was only because it was an enemy. The deer was just something harmless that provided food. A blessing, but now it was in the caring hands of whatever was down there to munch away on the carcass.
He yawned a bit and chuckled. "Someday, you'll see" he said as he was practically falling asleep before he even made it to the make shift sleeping back on the ground. "Sleep well my love" he said as he kissed her good night, thinking sleep was a good agenda and fooling around would only get them a late start to the day ahead

Smiling lovingly as she settled down beside her beloved, surprised that he'd been so tired but she couldn't really blame him since he'd been running all day. Reaching out a paw as he settled down to lay she brushed his hair back as she'd seen him do hundreds of times before. "You too Jerome, till the morning."
Curling down against him, she found a comfortable spot for her head in the crook between his chest and shoulder; draping an arm around his torso and felt herself slipped into slumber shortly after which was surprising since she'd been so very excited for the day to come.
