Tenma Keigou
"Can a corpse truly become a corpse yet again?"

He said quietly smiling and raising his chin showing the deep groove torn into his flesh by a noose.

"Does a name really matter if the person being told my name doesn't have breath to utter it once I am done? or a throat for that matter"

He said quietly, threateningly.

"But if you must follow tradition as most idiots would saiko.."

He said, if the man didn't know what he meant by that he was truly beyond hope.

Shin's eyes narrowed on the man that was now branded with title of foe, a feral smirk working it's way onto his lips as he listened intently to the threats that this cocky little so and so was throwing down from his haven in the tree.

"Is that so? Well then Saiko you better start savin' your breath because you're not only going to have to choke on your words, but you're going to wish you had breath enough left in you to curse the day we crossed paths."

As Madison piped up, sprining to Shin's defense he felt something inside of him grow warm, but those feelings of affection quickly boiled into a heated anger at the thought of this freak threatening that sweet innocent. His anger was sharp, pointed... energy channeled into destruction... Blood was going to be spilt--

Dark Conspiracy
Madison gasped rather loudly and looked around covering her mouth. Her eyes became teary as she stepped backwards from the illusioned heep, her weaponary had been dropped on the ground as she coutinued to move back.

Her heart was racing as she coutinued to look around, she didn't seem to say anymore, but tears were falling down her face. She wanted it to end, she desired it, but she didn't know how to make it stop. For what she was seeing was real---

Shin's eyes widened as Madison started stumbling backwards in a terror stricken state. Keeping one eye on Saiko, he called to her worriedly,

"M'lady? M'LADY?!! MADISON!! MADISON SNAP OUT OF IT!!... WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER YOU b*****d?!!"

Running backwards, his sword arm still extended toward the enemy, he caught Madison up in his free arm just as she sagged, catching her against his strong upper body. He shakes her lightly, and then a little harder.

"Madison?!! OI!! MADISON!! C'mon M'lady!! Damnit...."

A blinding flash of green light englufs the elf and his companion, an intricate spell circle beneath his feet as he lowers his slams the blade into the earth. Releasing the hilt his arms encircle the frightened young woman and draws her into a strong embrace. The barrier would expell any lingering energy, his touch, reinforced with the energy of the earth and of life, would do the rest... Gently tilting her chin up, the elf leaned down ever so slightly, pressing his lips to hers and drawing her out of herself and back to him--

Madison blinked as the corpses disappeared around her. She didn't know how to explain it, but she was glad they were gone. She soon looked to see that she was with Shin again and she clinged onto him tightly as though she were a young child who had awakened from a horrible nightmare.

"Those poor souls..." Those seemed to be the only things that managed to slip out of her mouth. She seemed to still be in the world of shock and fear, a sight like that could disturb one as pure as this rabbit.

"M'lady... I--"

He gazed down at her, a deep sorrow filling his eyes at the painfilled expression that had fixed itself on her beautiful face. She wasn't ready for this kind of fight... No. It'd be better if--

He wrapped her in a tight hug, one arm supporting under her arms as he stroked her cheek reasuringly.

"Shhh, it's okay now M'lady. I've got you... Everything will be fine."

Smiling down at her, he touched the tips of his middle and index fingers to her forehead. Instantly she would be robbed of her conciousness, locked into a dream state. Shin carefully lowered her body to the ground,

"--- Forgive me."

The dream he had weaved for her, would deceive her mind, it took them back to the coffee shop, leaving Madison to explore the more cheerful possibilities of the earlier part of the day.

He reached his hands up and drew the pendant he wore around his neck, over his head and settled it around hers, resting it on her breast. The elven artifact would keep her shieled from any harm Saiko might send her way. Physical or metaphysical.

Sighing, he clenches his jaw and rises to his feet. Gripping the hilt of his sword, he draws it free from it's earthen sheath and steps out of the shielded area, emerging from the glare of green like a dark omen, his eyes glittering angrily with hate and resolve.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, but it's not nice to pick on girls."

"On the contrary, she simple showed she had the will to fight, so I showed her the err in her challenge, simple."

He grinned mildly, his sharp teeth interlocking at odd angles.

"So, curse the day I met you, so on so forth. Mind forcing me to start cursing this day anytime soon?"

He said arrogantly. Cocky indeed but not for no reason. He'de killed much more people than this man had probably ever spoken too. This child would be simple pleasure, maybe when he died saiko could wake the woman and show her what her limbs looked like seperate from her.

More pleasures to come. Not pleasure in the sense of intamacy as some might go, for he wouldn't violate the woman, he found his pleasure in death nothing more.

"I'm ready when you are boy, Don't forget the protect the pretty little girl"

He said casually reaching behind him to strap his sword to his body so it would not come loose until he wanted to use it.

"You finished yet?"

The elf hefted his sword onto his shoulders and stared up at his would be opponent.

"So if you want to bleed me so badly, why're you still up that damned tree?"

Shin grinned deviously. His fighting spirit rising, this was going to be a hoot. He enjoyed taking guys like this apart, piece by slimey piece.

The young elf passed a few townspeople. They ignored her, and she wouldn't have wanted any less. Something in her subconscious told her that she was being followed, or at least watched, but everyone else seemed to be fine, so Bree fought against her instinct to just run off, which would most definitely draw attention to herself.

Bree's heart-rate eventually slowed to normal after whatever, or whoever, it was, left. She stopped to catch her breath, because, although she tried to not, she had sped up considerably since she set off.

Bree sank down onto a bench and shut her eyes lightly. She opened them again, leant back on the back of the bench and gazed at the passers-by, people watching contentedly, worries of the earlier 'follower' dissolved.

While Shin faced off with Saiko, another introduction was about to take place.

The elf had been right, she'd been being followed since she'd entered the city earlier that day. As she sat down to rest and observe the goings on about her, another presence made itself known.

When bree looked about, there would be nothing amiss, but when she next blinked, a young woman of about 17 would be standing before her in a black kimono with white under robe. There was a white insignia of a sakura blossom emblazoned on her right, shoulder. The kimono was simple but the girl looked pretty none-the less. She had soft silvery hair, that feel to her shoulders and pale winter grey eyes that seemed more like wolf's than a human's.

"Are you Lady Bree?"

The girl asked with no hint as to what her intentions were. But her eyes never left Bree's face for a moment. Her expression neutral and void of intent or emotion.

Jumping down with a solid resounding thud as his body landing still standing erect he smiled, letting his arms lay at his sides he began to advance on the fighter.

Slow deliberate steps he made every movement a threat, cracking his knuckles with the soft wet sounds of rotted cartilidge, and flezing his long fingers as if itching to put them around this mans scrawny throat. He contiued his progress towards the man closing the distance with long deep strides.

he'de let the man attack first, see what he could do.

Bree started at the sudden apperance of this stranger, but soon regained her posture. She narrowed her amber eyes slightly, all the while taking in this woman.

The girl looked around about 17 or 18 and was softly dressed in a white robe with a black kimono underneath. Her features were exquisite, with strange grey wolf-like eyes and Bree wondered openly about her origin, not bothering to hide any of her thoughts. She didn't need too, if this woman was powerful enough, she would read them anyway and Bree had nothing to hide.

Eventually Bree acknowledged the young woman, shutting her thoughts away. The girl had seen enough. She tossed back her pink coloured hair

"Yes. Bree'etraildiel Carmen tiolhik'n ede Warren"

She replied simply. Repeating her full name given by her birth parents. Her hand raised to the shell pendant on the gold chain around her neck and she gently rolled it around in her fingers.

"And who may I ask is gracing me with their presence."

She added, weaving a hint of mocking into her voice, but not enough for it to be meant as a threat.

((I know we haven't actually RP'ed this in RP Haven yet, but just go along as if we had, Sierra will approach Bree there about coming to the Guild to study with herself and Reiyvian. ))

The young woman bowed slightly, enough to show respect to someone of equal or possibly lower status, 'because at the moment, the young GUARDIAN member didn't know what 'rank' the blond elf was. Better to air on the side of caution and show some deference though she thought... After all. Her commanding Oracle had bid her to fetch her. And Reiyvian was dispatching her at the Lady of the House's request. She dare not offend anyone. Still... she didn't much care for playing nursemaid and picking up strays while there was a dangerous criminal on the loose. Her expression remained neutral and void of anything that would give her away.

"Lady Sierra sent you yes? Please come with me and I will see you safely to the guild."
PostPosted: Mon Sep 11, 2006 10:51 am

((oh ok biggrin ))

Bree nodded slowely. This was obviously the one Lady Sierra had been talking about. The guide that would take her to the guild.

Bree picked herself up gracefully, her long cream dress flowing down her legs, the creases from sitting gently falling out of the silk-looking material. Bree lifted her head and watched the young woman. She looked a couple of summers younger than herself, Bree was almost certain. Well not her actual age, the age she looked.

Bree again, tossed her hair behind her shoulders before running a hand through it with a sigh. Yes. She would follow this girl to Lady Sierra.

Anything would be better than the half-life she felt she was leading right now.

"Lead on."

Bree said simply to this new acquaintance, motioning for her to take the lead and Bree would follow.

Tenma:

He smiled with his mask resting on top of his head...watching.

But what was he watching you might be curious to know...the elf and the soultomb...Saiko to be more clear, he watched quietly. He wouldn't interfere, at the slightest chance that saiko recognized him he'de be screwed and the elf would be too.

He knew what saiko was planning. A long painful death for him, the carriage that broke down on saiko, and the woman who helped him rid himself of saiko. It's a simple thing really. A decomposing berserker was after his head and a womans head.

Nothing out of the ordinary for this country it seemed these days.

Tenma grinned as he remembered one of the passages in texts during risalas' actual living days.

" With his coming the lives of shall be churned into chaos much as a plow tills the soil"

Not a prophecy, simply a childs tale, and almost believable now that that tale had taken flesh.

((Right, forgive me... I'm posting for Shin and The GUARDIAN members from here, if it's a lil confusing, again... I apologize. ))

===========

As Saiko advanced, Shin stood his ground, reigning his anger in. He watched the monstrosity that approached him with a cautious, yet cool and calm demeanor about him. Composure was something had been drilled into his head. He'd nearly lost his wits to the agression that welled within, but he knew better than to let his enemy rile him so.

As the animated filth loomed nearer, the elf failed to bat an eyelash at the 'greausome' and attempted display of 'intimidating' presence. Perhaps Shin's bravery stemmed from ignorance, but the elven born was no stranger to the filth born of nightmares... And he'd been shadowed by the presence of things much more frightening than this muddled mass of flesh.

Clenching his jaw, he stays his blade before him... waiting... seeing just how close this 'thing' would try to come.

A little further away, the news was spreading quickly. The serial killer had been located and two persons were in imediate danger. As intel reports flowed back into the DSBG's bureau of intelligance... Decisions were flying about and the 4th Squad's Oracle was preparing a plan of action. 10 minutes away from the fight zone, two scouts lay in wait as they bide their time, waiting to hear what their orders would be. These two were not alone, for all through the forest, many of the 4th squad members had been moving into simmilarly concealed positions.

===========

The 1st Squad member who was now leading Bree en route to the DSBG had chosen to take a wide birth. The elf and her wolf-like escourt were travelling along the south western road that would pass by the edge of the forest where the trees prefer to grow in groves with patches of field. They would enter guild territory at the foothills beneath the peaks known as the Dragon Caves. A mountinous range that guarded the north and western borders of the Guild.

Blades? This child wanted to play with the sharp objects these humans enjoyed the use of so much, so be it.

Snapping the latches open he hefted his sword and held it out at an angle, so the the man could see the entire length of the blade.

This blade was Infamous in the mountains of Corinoor, actually most of Risalas knew this blade.

It was long, like a broad sword but unlike most it ended at an angle, the blade tilting sharply down. Notches marked the entire blades length and dents, but the most appalling part of the entire blade was the smears of dark reddish rust running across the blade, not the rust you'de see from water. To anyone with good senses it'de smell with the sharp tang of rotted blood.

User Image

Advancing slowly, a feral glint in his eyes part of his face covered in his long black hair, but half of that wicked grin showed through, his slightly yellowed and sharpened teeth glinting slightly.

His grip tightened on his blade and he charged with a feral yell, no coherency in the voice.

"SHAR NOR"

The words were not needed, but his tact was fear, and what better fear than this.

He split up, there appeared to be 4 of him now.

1 of the alterbodies Jumped high coming down with a strong vertical slash down the mans center.

Another kepts the charge forward going to stab the blade through the man.

The third body ran to the mans left making a high horizontal slash about the elfish mans shoulder height

The last body went to the elfish mans right, making a hard horizontal slash about waist lvl for the elf.

Well, the battle cry was only to be expected... but Shin sure as hell wasn't just standing still anymore. Being sliced and diced horrizontally as well as laterally just didn't sit very well with him and was NO on his to do list this evening.

As Saiko's or any of the multiples body's or even the sword itself hit the 7ft mark, Shin channeled all of his emtotions into energy, using them to fuel the magick he released. Unlike his mistress, the elven man was a creature of light... and that was what Saiko would be contending with now.

A piller of light englufed him and spread out in all directions. Pure light energy, elven blessed... a painful contender for any nasties, ie. the 4 Saiko's running about. The release of the energy itself, posessed a concussive force that would at the very least throw off one's centre of balance and knock you back... but the elf was suspecting that this hellspawn would get more than from being bathed in the shining light of his kind.
