When Chris pulled her close, Robyn felt her heart begin to beat very fast. She was sure it could be heard for miles. Then, a sudden voice made her jump-her heart beating fast for a different reason. It was Ryuken. "Don't scare people like that," Stardust said with a laugh to the Lucario. "It was just getting good," the Vulpix joked.

"Anything interesting," Robyn repeated question looking away from the group with a blush. Well there was the obvious. "You missed a trainer get attacked by a group of Crawdaunt and Corphish." She paused. She wasn't sure of the outcome of that. It was during that time that Chris had kissed her and she had went mentally comatose.

To cover for her trainer's silence, Stardust decided to ask, "Did anything interesting happen with you?" The fire type stopped for a second and sniffed the air. "You smell of bug."

...I laugh and watch you fall.

The men in black Ryuken mentioned made Robyn worry for a second. Although the worry went away when Chris said they were probably workers. That was a sound and more comforting thought. Though the Chris's concern for the Scyther over his own Pokemon made the girl smile. As the Lucario asked for a moment with Stardust, Robyn cocked her head. What does he want to talk with Stardust about?

The Vulpix flicked her tail and looked at the ground. She began cleaning her paws, as if she wasn't going to comply. After a few licks, the fire Pokemon stretched as she got up. "I guess I owe it to you since I bothered you earlier." She flicked her tail as she began walking away from the group, trusting Ryuken to follow. For a second she stopped and stared at Robyn.

"Do you have to do this every time we split? I'll be good. I promise." Stardust nodded her head at her trainer's promise and continued on. When she was sure they were out of hearing distance from their trainers, Stardust asked, "What was it that you needed to say?"

...I laugh and watch you fall.

Johnny Slayer

Location:Ortus island picnic area

“oh my wasn't expecting that” just then johnny heard the PA announce to come inside “dang it was just getting interesting, well i've gotta get going larvitar return. ” As johnny was about to dash he yellled “you should come cheer me on thomas i would love it if u did” and he dissappeared into a crowd of people.

Thomas nodded and called back all his pokemon, "That sucks because I would really love to battle him." He blushed a little thinking of how Johnny like him and then he headed over to watch what was going on.

Professor Samuel Oak

Location: South Ortus Island, Contest Hall

Oak had finally finished rehearsing and he had everything down to the last detail memorized. He sighed with a great deal of relief. Suddenly, he heard the announcement that the Contest was about to begin. Oak grinned.

"I think I deserve a little break. I'll go enjoy the festivities with my fellow poke enthusiasts." He said to himself. Oak attempted to get out of his seat. His back cracked a little as he rose. Everything is such a chore when you get old. He stretched a bit and then headed out the door. He walked down the stairs from behind the large stage in the Main Plaza. Many trainers were flooding here and there. Oak was excited. So much competition. It brought him back to his prime years. Back when he was a hot shot trainer, taking on the Pokemon League. He grinned as he made his way for the Contest Hall.

As he entered, the receptionist greeted him kindly and informed him he had a special seating location to view the Contest. Oak nodded. He followed the receptionist to his seating arrangements. He nodded a hello to the many trainers that acknowledged him. There was a special box on the ground level of the immense auditorium. The receptionist reached inside her pocket and pulled out a key. She unlocked the door and held it open for Oak. He smiled and thanked her for being so helpful.

The room was very nice and had comfortable looking seats. There was an array of food as well. Oak grabbed a cheese square and popped it in his mouth.

"I hope you're enjoying yourself." A familiar voiced caused Oak to jump. He wasn't expecting anyone to be in the room. Oak turned around and witnessed Mr. Ortus standing at the door. Oak swallowed his cheese after thoroughly chewing it and replied,"Y-you surprised me, Mr. Ortus! Yes. I'm very excited about this contest."

Ortus smiled. "I believe you'll find that I'm full of surprises, Samuel."

Giving them time alone. That was new. Robyn was used to having Stardust around all the time...well, most of the time. "No, not at all," she reassured him. She leaned into him gently and rested her head on his shoulder.

Stardust listened to Ryuken as he talked. He was considerate to his trainer-his friend. She flicked her tail in approval. As the Lucario moved onto his second topic, the Vulpix tilted her head to the side-curious. She began cleaning her paws in thought. After a few minutes she stopped. "Secret...base? Well, I was getting a bed feeling coming here but I put it off as beginning seasick. Plus, anything putting Robyn in danger gives me a bad feeling. She gets in danger...a lot. We can't really go off that but we can keep our eyes open."

She shifted her attention to the sky. The fire type stared at it for a little while, wishing they had stayed in Kanto and away from any possible trouble. "We could go investigate where you saw those two but I doubt we'd find anything. Plus, the tournament will be starting soon."

...I laugh and watch you fall.

Zach Strife - Prologue
A cascade of falling water collided with the ground, spraying liquid everywhere as well as kicking up a large cloud of dust. Zach shielded his eyes as well as shielding the young girl behind him. The red and white spheres on his bag strap rustled as the shockwave passed by. As the smoke began to settle, Zach lowered his arm to view the damage. Through the cloud he could make out a large figure standing, first seemingly atop a rounded mound, but as the cloud dissipated he could see what it really was. A large Blastoise, its shell riddled with cracks and dents, was standing beside a Pinsir collapsed on the ground. The tortoise turned his head towards Zach and smirked.

"Well done as always, Monsoon!" Zach said, motioning a raised thumb at his companion. Monsoon began to walk back towards him as Zach turned back to the young girl standing behind him. She was staring in disbelief at him. "You alright?"

The girl broke into a smile that Zach himself could barely believe. "Thanks mister! I don't know what I'd do if they took my Vulpix from me!"

Zach smiled back at her. He could hear the thugs scurrying away behind him, shouting obscenities at him. "I wouldn't worry about them anymore. Thugs like them are easily scared off."

Before he could continue, he spotted a Pidgeotto flying towards him at high speeds. As it flew by, he noticed an envelope falling from the sky. He snatched it and read the cover. "It's for me? How did it know I was here?"

Zach tore it open and pulled out a small sheet of paper, reading it quickly. After a few seconds he folded it back up and turned to his partner. "Looks like we're taking a quick break from Sinnoh, old buddy."

Zach Strife - Chapter One

Zach waded through the crowds leading towards the Contest stadium. A Porygon-Z followed him closely, hovering above his head. "I sure am glad they let me sign up for the Tournament, despite our late arrival. You're glad too, right Seven?"

"Pory." Seven said, following Zach closely.

"There are quite a lot of trainers here. I bet the contest will be quite a sight. Hopefully we can still get a decent seat..."

Seven looked up at the stadium the crowd was moving towards, not saying anything else. The two continued moving, darting between other trainers along the way.
