Hauntednight The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight looked at Pebbleheart affectionately.] "Thankyou for you kind words Pebbleheart, but even if you think your not a great hunter you are one...to me. You also keep me company when I hunt." Which keeps that shadowy cat away. Hauntednight thought. [Hauntednight played with her tail with sheathed paws, acting like a joyful kit. Being with Pebbleheart made Hauntednight feel happy inside.] ~=============================================~

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart smiled at Hauntednight, touched by his words. She then purred in amusement as he played with her tail. Happiness filled Pebbleheart as she spend time with Hauntednight. She then looked up to see the clouds were dark. She smiled at Hauntednight and licked his cheek. The sound of a robin then filled her ears. Pebbleheart turned around to see a robin. Confidence was by her side as she stalked the mouse. With her claws she swiped down at the robin, catching it by its tail. Pebbleheart was about to unshed her claws but saw that there was a nest up on a tree branch. She knew that this was prey but felt that killing a mother is savaged. She let the bird go and watch it fly up to her nests. Pebbleheart wasn't too late though. She spotted a mouse and swiped at it swiftly, finally happy she got her prey. Turning around quickly, she smiled at Hauntednight.] "Look! I caught a mouse!" she said, happily. _________________________________________________________

Hauntednight The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight was proud of Pebbleheart.] "Good catch Pebbleheart, you are a good hunter!" Hauntednight mewed cheerfully for his mate. [Hauntednight looked up at the nest and saw the robin care to her eggs. It almost made him sad to watch this. But Hauntednight shook the feeling off and licked Pebbleheart behind the ear.] "C'mon lets see if there's some prey farther here." [Hauntednight watched her bury the mouse for later and waited for her answer. He looked at the clouds and saw it was getting dark.] We shouldn't be to long. Hauntednight thought. ~=============================================~

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebleheart smiled as she finished burring her mouse. She then purred loudly as Hauntednight licked her on the ear. A playful look spread across her face. Pebbleheart playfully and light bumped the side of his body with her shoulder.] "Sure! Let's see who gets the most prey." she said, giving him a challenging yet playful look. [She then rushed ahead and looked back at Hauntednight with a loving look.] _________________________________________________________

Hauntednight The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight gave her a challengeing look before rushing off a seperate way.] "I'll win!" Hauntednight mewed playfully. [Hauntednight stopped and looked around his surroundings, he turned his attention to a rustling in the bushes. He crept up closer seeing his prey was a small vole. Hauntednight got into a hunting crouch and snuck quietly to his prey. He pounced on it giving it a swift bite to the neck. Hauntednight happily burried his prey by the bush and looked for more. [It wasn't long before Hauntednight spotted a blackbird pecking at the ground. Hauntednight quietly set paw by paw until he was close enought to strike. He jumed in the air, his shadow scaring the blackbird. But Hauntednight wouldn't give up. He jumped hight into the air and clamped against his unsheathed paws, killing it with a quick n**. He picked up the blackbird and barried it near the bush where the vole was. Hauntednight looked up and felt a cold chill come in.] It's almost dusk, I'll catch one more thing then find Pebbleheart. Hauntednight thought. [He stalked off toward the woods, hurrying along before unfortunate things would come along.] ~=============================================~

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart chuckled as she went near the oak trees. Her ears pricked up as she heard the sound of a pigeon. Pebbleheart went into a hunting position, stalking up to the pigeon. The pigeon was pecking at the ground, torturing a helpless ant. Pebbleheart frowned, concentrating but made one mistake. She accidently hit a rock with her tail, causing a noise to echo in her ear. Soon the pigeon caught the noise and used its wings to fly. Pebbleheart growled as it flew away, trying to jump for the pigeon. She sighed, disappointed but kept searching. Pebbleheart soon found a plump squirrel on a tree branch. Pebbleheart used her claws to climb on the tree bark, then slipping on to the branch quietly and swiftly. The squirrel was in no shape to escape. Too late. With one swift blow the squirrel was hurt but died as soon as Pebbleheart bit its neck. She dropped it on the ground to pick it up later. Getting down slowly, she also noticed a plump mouse near the dead body of the squirrel. She eyed the mouse and without hesitation bit the mouse on its tiny body. She bit it hard, causing it to stay still. Being proud of her catches, she picked up her two prey and went back to the one she buried. She dig a hole and picked up the previous mouse she caught. Filling the hole with dirt again, she went back to the large maple tree, waiting for Hauntednight to come back.] _________________________________________________________

Hauntednight The living nightmare ~=============================================~ [Hauntednight tried to smell some more prey, going closer to the twoleg nests. Hauntednight spotted a small mouse nibbling on a seed. Hauntednight got in to a hunting crouch and kill the mouse with one swift blow to the back. Hauntednight padded back to his spot but heard a bark in the distance...coming closer...and closer. Suddenly Hauntednight picked up the fresh scent of dog and saw it running towards him.] [Hauntednight tried to run but was to scared to move. The dogs powerful paw knocked Hauntednight to the ground, injuring his shoulder. Hauntednight rant he dog on his tail. He saw the maple tree Pebbleheart told him to meet at and climbed it as fast as he could, getting on the lowest branch. The dog jumped and jumped but couldn't reach him. Soon it gave up and ran back to it's twoleg nest.] H-How did that dog find m-me. Hauntednight thought warily. [Hauntednight saw Pebbleheart coming his way her eyes full of shock. He tried reasuring her but was to tired to say anyting. He climed down, looking at Pebbleheart, showing a reasuring look but then collapsed on the ground.] ~=============================================~

❁Purekit"I try to live true to myself, but...somehow, I'm living a lie."═══════════════════════[Purekit scuttled forward, her paws guiding her through the marshy swamps. She had walked in the opposite direction of the center of the clans. She stopped as she reached the border between NightClan and the Forest Outskirts.
She looked around, wonder filling her eyes.
Bones scattered the land, some of cats and others of prey. She had stumbled on an ancient battleground. She smiled softly. Finally...some peace and quiet... she thought.
She scuttled over to a tree stump, her blue-gray eyes hollow. She stared up into the stars, crinkling her tiny face.]
"Oh Forsaken," she whispered, "I haven't talked to you for a while. I hope Blood hasn't eaten you.
That would be REALLY bad."
[The small kit looked down at the ground. Slowly, ever so slowly, a slight flicker of insanity flashed across her face.]
"There's nothing I can do," she whispered, eyes widening. "I can't stop it. I know it's coming, and I can't stop it."
[She shuddered. This peaceful era had already ended, but what she sensed coming would make the chaos that had driven her away from her Clan's camp seem like a peaceful dream.
Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, something glinted in the moonlight. She turned and squinted at the area.
Again. To the left. Under the bones of a small rodent, something glittered in the light.
She stepped down from the stump slowly, scuttling over to it. Peeking through the bones of the vole, she saw something covered in dirt. She carefully pushed it out of the claws of the dead vole and rubbed it with her paw, wiping the dirt away.
She let out a surprised gasp.
It was the twoleg item! The one that had commanded their "monsters" into awakening and slumber! (( A key. ))
Suddenly, she realized something.]
"The forsaken leaf!" she screeched, jumping with joy. "I found it this time! I can break Forsaken's curse!"
[The small kit had forgotten. Forgotten that the forsaken leaf had been a trick. She had forgotten because slowly, she was receeding into her own safe, imaginary world. Because, she was going insane.
She picked up the forsaken leaf and scuttled forward. Forsaken! I'll find you, I promise!
The small kit didn't notice a bird flapping above in the sky. A large one. It spotted the small white kit scuttling forward in the desolate landscape and began to stalk her, flying in circles above her.
If only she looked up. If only she would look at it. But she marched on, oblivious.]
(( Meh. Too lazy to RP her in first person. >> ))

Pebbleheart “Nobody trips over mountains. It is the small pebble that causes you to stumble."
_________________________________________________________ [Pebbleheart jumped as the dog came near. She was hidden behind the maple tree and rubbed her fur against grass, to hide her scent. Pebbleheart noticed Hauntednight, shocked and scared about her mate. Hauntednight's blood stained the ground, a dark red. Fast thumping filled Pebbleheart's chest, filling her with worry and guilt. Pebbleheart had the urge to fend off the dog but was too afraid. Pebbleheart was afraid, yet guilty for not helping her mate. Soon memories filled Pebbleheart's head but she started shaking her head. "Stop it!" she hissed to herself. Hauntednight was up on the tree and the dog left. She quickly dropped the preys and rushed over to Hauntednight as he came her way. Her eyes filled with tear as she saw the huge injury on Hauntednight's shoulder.] "Oh Hauntednight...i'm so sorry..." she whimpered. [The thumping of the heart grew faster as Hauntednight collapsed on the ground, the blood flowing from his shoulder. Pebbleheart let out a scream of fright and her eyes filled with horror. The blood stained her fur and she was scared. Pebbleheart quickly licked the pain, tasting the blood in her mouth.] "Why did a dog come here?! This must be warned. Hauntednight stay here! I'll get help!" Pebbleheart said, her tone shaking with fright. [Without hesitation, Pebbleheart raced towards camp, not even bothering to bring the preys.] _________________________________________________________

❁Purekit"I try to live true to myself, but...somehow, I'm living a lie."═══════════════════════[The bird peered down at its targeted prey, narrowing its eyes. It dove down, its large wings wooshing as it flew down.
Purekit heard a loud flapping sound. Almost immediately, she curled instinctively into a ball. Just as the bird came over her, she bounced to the side, scratching the bird along its side. It screeched and reeled up at an alarmingly fast speed. Purekit, still holding the forsaken leaf, curled into a ball again as the bird twisted around and grabbed her with its talons.
Because of her small size, the talons wrapped around her harmlessly.
The bird flapped up into the sky. Purekit peeked out from her ball and saw that she was in the sky. She saw how tiny the trees looked. And how beautiful the sky was. She was flying!
There was almost a moment of hysteria as Purekit realized she was seeing what no other cat was seeing.
Then the reality of what was going to happen to her hit her like a boulder.
She let out a loud caterwaul, wailing in utter terror as the bird flapped away, someplace, to kill her and devour her.
All because she had searched for an answer.
Answer me.]

Above the cloud with its shadow is the star with its light.
_______________________________________________________ [Shadow ran as fast as he can. He looked around the forest, looking for Hauntednight.] "Hauntednight!!" he called out, hoping to find him. [Suddenly Shadow picked up a unusual scent.] Blood and...twoleg?! [Shadow's eyes grew with anxiety, as he tried looking around the forest. Finally there was a black furred body laying on the forest grounds. Shadow tried to figure out who it was.] "Hauntednight!" He called. [Shadow rushed over to the cat and tried nudging him and licking his wound to stop the bleeding.] "Hauntednight, can you hear me?!" he asked. No answer. [Shadow growled in worry and tried bringing the tom on his back. It was difficult, but eventually got the tom on his back. He got blood stains on his fur, noticing what horrible injury he was having. Suddenly Shadow stopped, noticing something. He looked down, to see fur. The fur was a brown color and had a strong scent of dog and twoleg territory. Shadow picked up the fur with his teeth. He knew that if he brought this to the others, then there is proof that there is a dog around their clan. Shadow did his best to bring Hauntednight back to camp. Unlike Snowcherry, Hauntednight was heavy. Shadow tried to quicken his pace to return to camp.]
