Jack saw Kamon take off and feeling a little sorry for him he got into Gravis. He detached the heavy armor and with a crash they hit the ground making a big dent. He flew out after him. "Hello Kamon. You seem to be taking my son's death harder then I am. Or at least on the outside. Now I know you feel responsible for what happened, that much is appearent, but you shouldn't blame yourself for his death. He died because he put the need of those people on the transport above his own. He was always like that." Now tears started to drip from Jack's chin and his voice broke a little as he spoke. "Don't blame youself for the actions of others. Your not the one who killed my son. This Chris fellow is. He killed John's father, he killed my wife, and he killed my son. He has killed most of those closest to me but I do not seclude myself from the rest of those closest me as you have. You need them Kamon. Now more than ever." Jack wiped his tears and left Kamon to his thoughts.

"I don't get close to many people... but I was to him, and I'm not the kind of person who just holds it all inside. But when I find Chris, he's a dead man." 'And so is Alucard... along with anyone in that accursed organization'

"Alright, now that the MO3 and the Arashi's modifications have been finished, I think we should make an attack. There's an isolated orbital supply base not too terribly far from here. Marie has come up with a plan of action, and we will need everyone's copperation, if you all are interested. Personally, I think its high time we struck back at them."

Jack landed and slowly began to put his armor back on Gravis using a crane. "Well i'm in. It's high time Gravis had a test in battle. Though i've had him for a few years he's never seen combat. Also if we plan on making a small army don't you think we'll need some sort of flag or something?" The twin Buster Cannons went on next.

Chris had left the rest of his battalion and went to Kamon's old hangar. There was a hole in the roof so he landed Nisus and got out to look around. Hoping to find some clue as to where they went. He searched on the second floor where they had their personal belongings for a bit and then the first floor. The only thing he hadn't checked was the hangar. He saw the door was busted open. probably by his search teams. Most of the gundams looked incomplete there was also a hole in this roof but it wasn't from a shot or explosive. He looked at the hole then where he thought the thing that made it would land and sure enough some piece of metal was stitting there. He went to go and check it out. When e got there he was surprised at what he saw. "Oh my lord. You just can't kill these people can you?" Inside was Nick clutching a small metalic box that had A.I. Dark Empros on it. Nick was alive but barely breathing. "I guess I should've shot the cockpit instead of the head huh?" Chris laughed got Nick out of the cockpit and strung him on his shoulder.

Nick awoke in a haze. He noticed he was being carried but he still had Dark Empros. "Ugggggh."

"Ahhh. Your awake are you? Well your gonna wish you weren't here soon." Chris hopped up onto Nisus.

Nick realized who it was but was to weak to object. At least now he wasn't going to die. Inside the cockpit he was lucky the explosion shot him away from the fire or he would have been dead already. He was also lucky that the explosion didn't hit the fuel line running near the cockpit until after he had been shot away or he would have died instantly. He heard Empros beep at him and he nodded. They were going to live but maybe not be so safe. Chris threw him into Nisus' cockpit and got in himself.

"I have to say Nick you are a surprising person. Just when I think your dead I find that you survive. Even Kamon thinks that your dead. On top of that you were able to save Empros' A.I. so you not only saved yourself but someone else." Chris laughed. "At least I have someone who knows where he went now." Chris was flying up and out of the hole towards the flag ship in orbit.

Nick gulpped. Kamon where ever you are I hope you can save me.

"Good plan. But shouldn't we take a breather here?" Adalwulf remarked to John , sitting on the edge of couch that the sleepy eyed little girl was on. "I mean. We just fought them off, lost a comrade, and now have a small semi-peaceful reprieve." He looked at the signal that was on Jack's flash drive and grunted an approval. It wasn't all that complicated, but it was full of misdirections. He went back to the Backdraft site and located the broadcasting frequency that they were using, blocking it so that the users would find themselves unable to communicate with each other or any person that was in alliance with them. Then he provided a distracting blip that gave the appearance of an ally attempting to figure out the source. His finger lingered over the key that would send the anti-signal out. "Plus, like Jack said, we can't fight something bigger than us with no army." He pressed the button down, releasing the breath he had been holding, and went back to decoding the Backdraft information.

Demyan was busy flying back to HQ when the technician from before butted in again to notify another signal appearance. "For god's sake, man, I'm not an errand boy! It's probably just another decoy again." "It's only a click from where you are." The technician protested. "Just go and--" The transmission was cut off with a buzzing sound. Demyan started to shut the thing off to avoid further annoyance when a message came up saying, Emitting signal has been transferred. Please what until it's up again, someone is trying to reassert the temporary situation. He clicked the off button down anyway, ignoring what was going on.

Kamon had walked in just in time to hear Marie's plan. "Sounds good, I'm in. I'll link Zero and Arashi so I can control both at the same time, using the ZERO system on both." He smiled a bit thinking of how he would tear Chris's suit in half before destroying it completely.

"This is the plan, should we choose to put it in action. There's no time to mourn. I regret to say that I did not know Nick, so I cannot claim to know how you all feel right now. But we have to strike now, while we are able. John and I have used Professor G's stealth technology, derived from the remains of Deathscythe Guilty. Our base is undectable to the naked eye as well as to most sensors. Also, Adalwulf's clever programming is keeping our communications hidden. So there is no risk to us whatsoever if we take this mission. The target is a Gundanium refining plant. It represents a major supply line to the Backdraft space forces. Destroying this refinery would cripple their capacity to manufacture attack Gundams. This is what we'll do:
There will be three teams; Attack, Strike, and Support. We will trust Adal to disable all enemy communication first. John, Kamon, and I will move in close, piloting the Modus suits and Arashi. We will be the front line. Just before we come into sensor range, Jack and Byrd will attack with heavy weaponry using Gravis Officium and Zeta X, opposite from the front team's approach vector. The two of you will rapidly and sporadically change your range, apporach vector, and attack patterns to keep the enemy guessing while they scrample their forces. Zero will support you with its Taikou configuration. While the main force is preoccupied with Strike team, we (Attack team) will move in close and disable or destroy fixed defenses. Adal and Lillia will follow Attack team when the coast is clear enough, support with electronic assault, and cover Attack team's tracks as we move throughout the base. Koza will cover Adal at close range. Once Strike team has eliminated or at least crippled the enemy's responding mobile suit forces, they will begin to move in closer. After Attack team has disabled all defenses, Support will move into the base and shut down manufacturing operations. Once that's done, all teams rendezvous in the central atrium of the plant, and move to clean up whatever's left. Once we've moved Backdraft out, a crew from our colony will arrive at the base, comandeer the propulsion system aboard the orbital plant, and relocate it to our colony's surrounding space. Any questions?"

"Hmmm. Sounds good to me. Though if rienforcements come we could be in trouble but thats not what's worrying me. What is worrying me is the fact that due to it's importance there will probably be several Elite Gaurd. Now i've seen some pretty nasty pilots in my days but the worst of them was an Elite Gaurd I had come across. He was badly damaged and was low on ammo. He came up to me scaring me so I open fired. He was so fast that before I even saw anything he had shot my left leg off and was about to kill me. The only reason i'm here today is because his suit ran out of power. Now the Elite Gaurd is a special division of Backdraft. Mind you their not the best pilots of Backdraft but all the same they are trained killing machines. You can tell who they are because they all have blue v-fins." Jack shivered at the memory. "They scare me more than Chris does. But they protect the leader, Chris, and important locations of Backdraft."

Chris landed in the hangar of the ship and got out with Nick on his shoulder carrying Empros' A.I. "So nice to be home." Al had just come through the door when he stopped with a start. "Yup he's alive. So is Empros here. Search his internal memory and video files and figure out where Kamon has gone." He tossed the box to Al who caught it with a nod walking away. "Well Nick you are going to the infirmary and then into an interogation cell. Sorry to say but we will meet again. Though I still don't know how you survived I do know that your no longer a threat. So hows about we become good friends, eh?"

Nick just about wanted to puck when he heard that. He hated Chris but he still was feeling to weak to do anything. So instead he just allowed himself to be carried to the infirmary. Once there Chris left and a doctor put him through an X-ray.

"Just as I thought. You have bruised ribs and your loss of blood has made you weak. Nothing that can't be fixed." The doctor injected a sedative into Nick.

Nick stuggled to stay awake but no matter how hard he tried slowly his eyes shut and he fell asleep.

"I'll take half the weapon bits on assault with Arashi, the rest will protect Taikou, as well as the others. And one more thing, don't fight alone. I don't want to lose another ally." Kamon left to prepare, making sure Arashi and Zero Taikou were ready to launch at a moments notice, making sure the link between the two suits was good, he didn't want the link to fail and Zero stop moving. 'I haven't used the ZERO system in a long time... but it should work to control two suits.. after all, Dorothy used it to control an entire fleet of them.'

Gravis was ready but he had to worry about one more thing. He sat beside his daughter. "Hey now you know I have to go. Will you be ok with all these people at the colony?"

Arianne smiled and nodded. She had been left with some frinds of her fathers before and she didn't know them.

Jack smiled and hugged his daughter. He then got up and headed for Gravis. "I'm going to fly around for a bit. Takes a bit to get this thing warmed up." He got into the cockpit and took off allowing the thrusters to get thouroughly warmed up.

After Chris had dropped off Nick he went to his personal hangar where he had all his expeirimental equipment. Lately ha had been working on something not even Al knew about. He was attempting to creat something that would substitue the gundams but still give him the power of one. Not an anti-gundam like the Modus Operandi. No much more sinister. An entirely new weapon. Something never attempted. He sat down onto his computer and looked over the skematics. He pressed a few buttons and the hangar wizzed as cranes and different robotic arms went to work to build his new weapon.

Nick awoke strapped to a medical bed. He felt stronger now and attempted to break free. "Argh! Stupid braces are to tight. I can't reach them with my arms." He jerked his torso and a shot of pain rocked his entire body. He gasped at the pain for a few seconds and a doctor came in.

"You shouldn't be trying to move stupid. Those ribs will take less time to heal that way. I've injected some nanites to take care of them so just sit still and heal." The doctor sneered at him and walked out.

Nick didn't think that doctor had a very good bedside manner but what did he expect. This was Backdraft. Nick sighed and just layed still slowly feeling the pain in his chest subsiding.

Finished with preperations to Zero and Arashi, Kamon went to find Adal. "Hey Adal, did you manage to get anything about prisoners, or any suits they have that could be of use to us?" He wanted to know everything he could, if freeing prisoner and their suits brought more allies, then he would do it. "We'll need as many people as possible to take on Backdraft when all this is over."

That's strange, Marie thought. Seeing the bewildered look on her face, John spoke up. "What is it, dear?" Marie sighed and cast a sidelong glance at a picture of Nick that Kamon had placed on a table nearby. The lit candles on the table instantly went out as she looked at them. She gasped quietly. I must be imagining things. "It's nothing. I just...do you think there's any way that Nick might not have died?" John made a strange face. "I don't know, my love. I...wouldn't think so. But who knows?"

Adalwulf glanced up at Kamon and indicated at the information on the screen. "Not too much about prisoners, just that they're usually few but extremely valuable to Backdraft. They're probably held until they confess what they know." He said. "As for suits, I found schematics, like weapon systems and weakpoints. Should be useful as hell." He turned to look at Marie and John. "That's what...I've been wondering too. I mean, did anyone of us actually see the inside of Empros's cockpit? Chris didn't paticularly make a good shot, his aim was off." He frowned, thinking. "Anyone want to go check out the wreck site with me?"

Marie had never met Nick, but she dreamed of him. She heard his voice, saw his face, watched his Gundam be destroyed, over and over in her head. When she was alone in the room, she finally had some time to reflect on the strange happenings surrounding her awakening. First, she noticed how strong she was. She could bench press 500 pounds easily in the 1G simulators. She also could push herself harder than her hardened soldier of a husband when flying in a mobile suit. She could not remember ever being that tough before. The last time she tested herself, she was travelling under the pressure of 9 G's. She never even broke a sweat. Now she looked at the bandage around her hand. The wound had healed within hours, but she kept the bandage on so as not to arouse curiosity from the others. She thought on the blue blood she had shed. What am I? Not only had she observed all these physical anomalies, but she had also started seeing and hearing someone she had never met, someone who was supposed to be dead. "'Stupid braces are too tight. I can't reach them with my arms,'" Marie said out loud. Later, she went to sit in the room with John, Kamon, and Adal. At Adal's question, she stood up and crossed the room. She took the bottle out of his hand and corked it. "I'll go."

Adalwulf didn't move to take the bottle back, but he stood anyway. "Good, maybe it'll put my mind at ease." He mumbled, mostly to himself. " 'Right, I'll leave my laptop here for you to look through the info, if you want Kamon. The decoding process is going smoother now. There's also multiple security measures and automatic ones too, so it shouldn't be a problem if it looks like it's starting to malfunction. I sent out Jack's signal too, and already got a few replies, some pilots are heading this way, in a roundabout one so they don't get caught or tailed." He went to hop into Lillia, then turned back to him. "Unless if you want to come, of course. Then just bring it with you."

Demyan landed in the hangar and shut Natasha down, taking a small pocket sized transmisson radio with him. He clicked it on briefly, noticing the same technical message was up. Shrugging, he put it on standby and saw Alucard walking down the hall leading out. He stood there for a moment, chewing thoughtfully on the butt of his cigarette before running to catch up with him. ""Hey. Al, right? What's up with that box there?" He asked, glancing sideways at him. He didn't particulary know Alucard that well, but wanted to atleast get on his good side.
