The vixen tried her best not to let the creature get out of her eyesight, yet he made no move otherwise that she'd suspect danger...and that's what made her nervous. Raising her brows as he keeled down before her to even the height, it was a act she was not expecting or at the very least prepared for. As her ears folded back along her skill, the Arbiter confused her greatly; while looking the way he did, and apparently waged a great war with Jerome's army of sorts....why was he so peaceful in the presence of a spartan and so curious about her?
Perhaps she would never understand, but she did feel relieved as she was looking at the back of Jerome, thankful for his protection; even if it wasn't needed necessarily.
Looking from the Arbiter to Jerome, she knew there was much more she didn't know...and a part of her thought it was for the best. Looking down at her paws which clutched the gauze, she mustered up the last of her courage to move around Jerome and back to the Arbiter, gabbing his large paw slowly and placing the rolled gauze in his grasp. "If you can't use it on yourself...then maybe you'll encounter someone who will need it. It has many uses, after all." She bowed her torso down in customary manner before heading back to Jerome, "May...we go?" She spoke before once more pressing on in a slower pace till he'd catch up.
The Arbiter's final words sitting uneasily with her.

The Elite wasn't puzzled by the female's actions. He thanked her anyway even if he was more than likely to discard the item and move along. He watched as the two walked away and he shook his head. "Spartan, I hope they never get a hold of you. If they do, you'd best be prepared to not only defend yourself, but also you mate." He muttered to himself
The Spartan sighed. "Yes..lets" he said as he turned. He heard the elite mutter but he decided against figuring out what was said. He looked over at Koyuki as she had been uneasy throughout the entire encounter. "You ok? I know Elites are scary..but if the Arbiter is being nice, then you really have nothing to be afraid of." he said trying to return his formal grin

Biting her lip gently as she walked, she wasn't sure Jerome would quite understand. From the looks of it he'd fought many a battles, against creatures like the Arbiter and from lord knows what out there in space. It had come as a shock to learn there were such soldiers here in the midst of peace...and it never occurred to her as a kit. Yet now...her view had been expanded. Where there was these soldiers to protect the peace...what stopped their enemies from following suit to get the upper hand. What if Arbiter had not been a friendly elite, he would have killed them both before they knew the wiser.
"I am afraid...." Koyuki breathed out, wrapping her arms around herself for comfort. "Before....my biggest concern was simply trivial things...yet now..." She closed her eyes for a moment and sighed, her breath swirling out in the chilled air. "Now I see what's out here, what potentially could happen with one wrong move...I am not a warrior, Jerome. I would have been helpless if he had attacked...and I guess realization that there are things out there wanting to harm me...harm you are suddenly reality and not an afterthought..."

He listened intently while she spoke, every now and then turning around to check the once massive elite now growing into a small vague dot. When she was finished he thought out his sentencing carefully.
"Well Koyuki. There is always something that one would have to be careful of. There's almost always something out to get us. A virus..an alien..something, and that's just how life is. That's why it's necessary to stick together. We can always watch each other's backs" he said as he casually put an arm around Koyuki's shoulder. It was a harmless gesture and nothing more

It may have been harmless in thought, but the simple gesture spoke volumes for the vixen. It may not have been what most would associate from touch, especially from a good looking fox like he was. There was an other worldly sensation about it all, about creating a bond of trust in nothing more than a simple touch.
For the second time since she'd met him her breath caught in her throat, but she did not slow her pace. Trovalius was right...and as she looked up to Jerome with a silent look of astonishment, she nodded her head slowly and lent against him as they walked. Although she wasn't sure how much help she could be, she'd try her best to assure nothing happened to the spartan that he couldn't handle.
"Thank you." She spoke softly, a warmth to her words as her eyes soon fell on the familiar house across the meadow. The slightly elevated beating of her heart rang strong through her ears, as it felt weird to be near him and not feel the chill of his armor. Even if it was a nice change none the less.

The spartan smiled as he looked straight ahead. "Do you want me to wait out here or what?" he said feeling awkward. The last time he was there he had a particularly bad experience. It's not that he didn't want to support his..friend..or whatever the official title was amongst them, but he wasn't keen of the freaky demon...nor the other fox. He never was one for foxes who were higher ranked than him and in a different organization.

About to pipe up to protest and insist him come with her, the sudden realization of his prior visit popped into her mind. If Trovalius was home, the last thing he'd want was to see Jerome again. Laughing softly but knowingly, she nodded her head and patted his shoulder. "It might be best if I just go in..." Last thing she wanted was a fight between the two.
Turning around she took a few steps but stopped abruptly as if she was in thought. Koyuki did not speak, nor did she seem to really know what was going on until she turned around and returned to Jerome. In one fluid movement she was up at his chest, stretching to stand on the tips of her 'toes' and place a light kiss on his cheek. Flushing immediately after she once more turned and took a few bounds away towards the house, this time not stopping as she called out; "I'll be right back!" and vanishing through the door.
Heading straight to her room, she set to work putting on her dry kimono and fixing her hair from the night before. Placing it in the complicated style of large buns were almost second nature to the vixen now as she tried to hurry it up for Jerome.

"Alright, I'll wait here" he said as he faithfully sat down in the spot he was in. Before he did he noticed Koyuki bound back over and kissing him on the cheek. At first he was a bit shocked, but then he rubbed it thinking he could get used to that.
He waited patiently outside as he stared at the sky, swearing it was getting darker for some reason. "Hmm..that doesn't make sense" he said as he tried to find the source of the darkening sky

Feeling much better now that she was back to her normality at least appearance wise, Koyuki took a thicker scarf and tied it around her stitched wound just in case before typing her kimono up in the front and headed back outside. Luckily Briareos and Trovalius wasn't anywhere to be seen so she slipped back out of the house with ease and headed back towards her companion.
At first she didn't notice the difference, as her paws trailed lightly through the snow to reach Jerome's side once more. However it was when she notices he was looking up that had her own eyes raise to look. "What are you looking at?" She asked, curiously and thought furthermore, why was it darker?

The spartan was very lost. He couldn't see past the tree line, but he figured another storm was coming. He looked over and saw Koyuki heading towards him. "I due for another storm. We should probably try and get somewhere before it hits" He shrugged and stood up, looking over at the vixen. He had almost forgotten how beautiful she looked while dressed up

Looking over to follow his gaze, a concerned look crossed her newly pristine features...how strange was a storm on a day once beautiful out. Her eyes ventured down to meet Jerome's with a smile on her face regardless, "Where would you like to go?" She knew the house was most convenient, yet she wasn't sure how much time they had before it would hit.
"As much as I know you like the house, would we even have time to go anywhere else?" Now that he stood, she shifted her glance up to him; looking back to the impending storm. Was it snow, or fog? It was so hard to tell, and she especially wasn't good with weather.

He shrugged. "I don't know. I know there are other places out here and such so I guess if the storm hits we might be able to find one. Maybe" He said as he looked up to the sky. He could smell an interesting smell as the wind wafted through his hair. "Hmm...looks like we might be getting some rain. It is warm enough." he said as he started to walk into the forest, waiting for her to follow

Rain hmm? A knowing smile crossed her lips as she shot one more glance to the skies, it seemed spring was finally on the approach and boy was she glad for it. As much as she enjoyed the sights and sounds of the winter, or any season...there was just something about spring that she enjoyed more so than any other month. Perhaps it was the way that everything suddenly came back to life after the deep freeze, and the smells of blossoming flowers and the green atmosphere.
"Sounds like a plan!" The vixen happily commented, before setting out to follow closely behind the spartan, more than happy to follow. Chocolate hued orbs settled back on his frame though, as her tail swayed slowly behind her. "Jerome...is Elysia bound to the armor, or you?" It was kind of out of the blue, but she'd not realized in everything that she didn't pop up or warn them of the dangers of the Arbiter...which further dawned that she hadn't heard nor seen her since the morning.

Jerome was walking at his normal pace. It was a bit faster than probably Koyuki liked, but he was greatly distracted by the prospect of rain. There was nothing he enjoyed more than a rain storm. Even Koyuki's question caught him off guard and it took him a moment to register her words. "Hmm? Oh..sorry i was thinking about the rain." he said with a sheepish grin, slowing down a bit so he could walk right along side the female
"Elysia is bound to technology. She's like a hard drive for a super computer that is capable of expressing itself and is capable of easy mobility. As for right now she's currently inside the Pod, but will go into my armor when I need her. Why do you ask? just curiosity?" he said as he looked down at her

"Mostly yes." Koyuki smiled, even more so when his pace dropped so she could walk beside him. She tried to keep her pace as fast as she could; yet with the added warmth she got from wearing the kimono it was a restriction for her legs. Bound...it was a strange word. Perhaps it didn't full wrap around her brain that she wasn't essentially 'real' like her and Jerome, and it wasn't like the vixen and technology were well acquainted. Jerome was probably the most sophisticated 'technology' she'd encountered other than the thermostat.
"I guess its just strange to think about, I'd just noticed she wasn't 'around', per say."
