"Thats a lot of roses." She said to Elise. "I didnt know there was a first person that lived here, I always thought uncle just bought the house." She hmmed. "Did you work for her? Was she nice? WHat did she look like was sh-" She covered her mouth and giggled. "Sowwy." She laughs more, her face brightening. "I guess Saberlin really likes to work. I dont care for school that much. I muich prefer being here or with mommy."

((Hey guys, sorry for delay in posting tonight. I will reply properly tomorrow 'cause my face is still puffed up from having my wisdom teeth out yesterday and the ache is starting to come back so I have to hop off and get some more Z's and recover some more. =^_^;= Thanks for your patience. @music_chick_fan: No need to apologise. You're a wonderful rper, hon! ^_^ I enjoy rping with you and Oreo and Kyu. All of your characters are lovely. We can't write this story without each other.
Edit: Okay, here it is. I got a bit sidetracked trying to reply to everything at once, so it ended up being a longer entry. My apologies...*cringes*))
“Superb. Well, that should give their mother a little break. Being born takes a lot of energy it seems” Saberlin replied amicably, wondering how long they would stay asleep. It was likely that being so young, they would need tending to every hour or half hour at the least after the first big sleep, despite the stressful experience of coming into the world. Cheria was going to need all the rest she could get in between!
He looked down and continued to speak as if to his breakfast as he laid thinly sliced salmon strips in the centre of the pastry circle, along with a dab of sour cream and some fresh salad greens before rolling it up and cutting a bite. “It is a fair amount of food.” He agreed calmly, “However, there may be more than just you and I dining here this morning. Sammie might be hungry when she awakes and perhaps my flower if she feels up to eating today. I always like to make sure everyone is well provided for.” He chuckled, swallowing his first bite before taking two more, eating swiftly and neatly. “I do tend to have quite the appetite when I wake on most days as well. Any leftovers can be taken by the staff and whoever else wants to have them but I should be able to manage half of this myself.” Saberlin explained; his tail swishing contentedly as he continued to fill his stomach, satiating the leopard appetite.
By now onto his third crepe of the morning, (which was filled with flaked tuna), he watched Cheria trying to eat hers with some interest, unable to hide a flicker of amusement at her actions. “They taste better with toppings inside them” he offered helpfully, noticing she had eaten one without anything added. He bid her a good rest as she tiredly got up and left, probably to see to her twins.
Hearing another figure approaching shortly after Cheria’s departure, he looked up and kissed Fern on the cheek as she leaned against him, smiling warmly and moving over in his chair so she could sit on his lap. “Hello, did you happen to find that mess of a note I left for you?” he greeted her, giving a low purr. Saberlin laughed softly when she commented on the amount of food, plonking another crepe onto his plate. “That’s exactly the same thing Cheria said. I am getting through them okay though” he assured her, spooning cream and strawberries onto a circle of pastry. “Would you like one my love? I requested strawberries and cream just for you, should you wish them”

Considering how to explain, the maid put a hand to her cheek thoughtfully. “Well, let’s see now... the first lady who lived here was your uncle’s Mummy and she married his Daddy and they had Saberlin” Elsie explained with a bright smile. “Oh, no, I didn’t work for her but my own mother did and she has lots of nice stories about her. Her name was Edelia Harcourt. I got to meet the second lady though. Her name was Winny and she looked a lot like Miss Cheria. She was in fact Miss Cheria’s mother”
Walking into the kitchen with the panther girl by her side, Elsie giggled and gave a polite bow to both Saberlin and Fern before she led Sammie across to the phone on the kitchen counter, spotted the button marked with Sammie’s parent’s names and dialled her mother for her, handing the receiver to the girl when the phone rang.
She smiled and stood by to one side while they talked, fiddling with the ends of her hair idly. She hadn’t had the chance to get dressed or help Sammie get ready yet either but that didn’t matter. It was still very early in the morning. The sun had risen barely fifteen minutes ago and they had plenty of time to get ready after breakfast.

Fern smiled a little, giggling. "Yes, I did. It was a lovely mess of a note." She wasn't surprised to hear that he had already been questioned about the copious amount of food in front of him. "Did she? Well it is an awful lot of food." She shook her head some when he offered her some strawberries. Even though they were her favorite, she didn't feel like eating them for the first time in months. "No thanks, I'm not really feeling to well today."

"Uncles mommy? Ive never met her." Matter-of-factly she said shaking her head. Sammie giggled. "Edelia? What a lovely name." Listening as they countined walking. Sammie waved at the two famailar faces in the kitchen with delight. Taking the phone she called her mom. She heard the voice and smiled. "Hi mommy! This is Samantha! I miss you so much mommy!" She talked with her mother until her mother explained she had to go pcik up laundry. "Ok, bye mom." She said and sighed, hanging up the phone.

Cheria yawned ad got up. She check on Luke, who was still sleeping. Noticing a smell, she hoisted him over to the changing table and carefully cahnged his diaper, and then put him over with Caleb. She did the same thing to Caleb, and put him back. Then she went back to her cool bed, and groaned a bit. Why do I feel hot? I shouldnt feel hot. Maybe some more food will help. Cheria got up and went to the kitchen, and sat down, staring at a spot in the table that didnt exist.

((@music_chick_fan: Oh, by the way, if you want to have a nanny for Cheria’s sons, feel free to npc one. Same with any of the other staff. ^_^ I find that NPCs come in pretty handy. Everyone can use them to help make things easier. In such a large setting, we kind of need them. Lol.))
Saberlin only laughed softly in response to that. There were less than half the amount of crepes left by this time and he was looking (and feeling) satisfied. The kitchen staff had done a wonderful job, as usual. He greeted Sammie and Elsie politely as they came in.
“Hmm, I suppose it does make sense that you’re feeling a little off colour. We probably don’t have much time left to wait before the inevitable happens” Saberlin replied, nonetheless carefully reaching out a gloved hand and pressing it lightly against her forehead. Placing his other hand against his own forehead, he tested her temperature. “...In this case, perhaps you ought to rest or take a refreshing swim or even a nice, gentle stroll. It may help you to feel better.” He suggested concernedly, removing his hand as a small beep from Saberlin’s wristwatch signalled the time. “Whoops, it appears it’s time for me to depart. I’ll meet you later on this afternoon. If you want me before then, just send a message with one of the staff and they’ll come and find me down in the lab. Other than that, I shall have my mobile phone” He got up carefully and kissed Fern on the back of her hand, turning to give some parting instructions to Elsie before prowling off for work. The last that could be seen of him was an anticipating grin and the sight of a trailing leopard’s tail whipping round the side of the door.

Elsie waited while Sammie held a conversation with her mother, hoping that she would feel somewhat less homesick and a bit better after keeping in touch with her loved ones.
She conversed with Saberlin, listening to his instructions carefully whilst Sammie continued to chatter on the phone and when the little girl hung up; Elsie led her over to the breakfast table just as Saberlin left.
As planned, they would have breakfast, get ready and dressed, then take a fun, uplifting stroll around the rose gardens and collect their own bouquets to decorate the household with. Elsie was wondering whether Sammie would like making pressed flowers as well.
Seeing her Mistress still at the table, Elsie was about to ask Fern whether she would wish to join them on their rose garden tour when she noticed Mistress Cheria enter the room and slump down at the table, looking a bit distant.
“Mistress Fern, Samantha and I were thinking of taking a walk around the rose gardens and I wonder, would you like to accompany - oh, Good Morning Mistress Cheria! A-are you feeling alright today, Ma’am? Is there anything I can fetch for you?” She piped politely.

Cheria smiled, painfully. "No, nothing wrong. Just a headache, which, hopefully will go away soon." Cheria pulled another plate and started eating some crepes, the right way this time. Finally full, Cheria stretched and sighed. "Mind if I join? The boys are sleeping, and I have nothing to do!"

Sammie waved at Cheria. Looking around while they adults talked she sat on the cool kitchen floor. Hearing more people coming she jumped up in exitemenet! "Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Im so gald you guys are coming, it wouldnt be as fun without you Aunt Fern!" She grinned from ear to ear.

Elsie had been looking forward to the rose gardens before and now she couldn't wait to go! "Okay, certainly ma'am, we'd be delighted to have you along Miss Cheria. And you as well, Mistress!" she replied somewhat breathlessly, turning to help Sammie up off the ground. She gently held both her hands and pulled to her feet with a playful tug.
Ushering the four year old into a chair, she pushed it into the table so that the small panther girl could reach properly then sat beside her, making up plates of crepes for them both. "Come on now, if we all want to walk while there's still dew on the flowers, we'll have to eat up and get ready!" she piped cheerfully, serving the toppings Sammie asked for.

Some time later...(but not too much later!)
Elsie was now dressed in her usual maid's uniform. She was smiling softly and humming under her breath as she swung closed the side door behind the small party of women while they stepped out into the grounds.
The maid carried several wicker baskets for the group as well as pairs of clippers for cutting the flower heads for their bouquets. She would lead the way to the sprawling rose garden if the other's didn't know it.

Cheria inhaled the sweet, rose and liliac laden air, as she walked along. But ws the most curios of all was that she was dressed in a old medival gown she found in the closet. It was all differnet shades of blue, fitting her perfectly. The train softly followed her, and she smiled at the blue sky. Her eyes, gold, with hints of brown, twinkled in the sun. "I wish Saberlin could've joined us, dont you, Fern?"

Fern nodded some, fiddling with the chain around her neck. "Yes...That would have been nice." She smiled some at the thought, then sighed. "But you know him, he loves his work."
She did wish the two of them could spend one day together before the twins were born though. She knew though that Saberlin was busy, and put the thought out of her head. If she couldn't enjoy today with her husband, she would at least try and enjoy today for herself.

(im back. sorry i didnt post a leave of absacne again. it was unexpetced)
"YAY!!" Sammie yelled in delight as she wolfed down a crepe. Followed by 4 others. Putting all different toppings on them.
Sammie dressses in a smiple outfit of her girl scouts shirt and pants. Following closly behind the adults. Getting bored with the conversation she kicked a rock. Looking up at Chria and Fern talking. "What does Saberlin do? You guys talk about it worrking. but ive never seen him actually work!"
