Dice repositioned himself so that Freya could lay down and use him as a pillow again, but so he could see the babies. He ignored any upsetting thoughts that he knew he was going to have to recall later on, and enjoyed the sight. The puppies bagan to move around, their eyes tightly shut. He smiled and wiped his eyes with his paw, trying to stop so he could see without blur. "You did really well, Freya." He encouraged, his eyes focused intently on the moving pups.

Freya laid her head on his back once more and sighed happily.
"Without my fluffy pillow, I wouldn't have been able to make it." She sighed again and glanced down at the four as they began to move with their eyes closed. She knew in a few hours they'd become adjusted to their surroundings and would soon open their eyes to explore but for now, she was content with just lying there and not moving.
"Should we name them...or should we-" She cut herself off, not wanting to say that one would soon have to leave.

"-decide who we give up?" Dice finished up for Freya, knowing what she was going to say. He sighed. "We need to decide before we get too attatched." He quietly said, knowing it wouldn't be easy. "I don't know, darling, who do you think we should give up for adoption?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side, staring at Freya.

"It's too late for that Dice, Im already attached." Freya said as she sat up and gazed down at the four pups; all four carrying starry designs and only one with their father's trademark pair of die on their leg. She stared at them all for what seemed like a long time. This was the hardet decision she had ever had to make.
"The only girl of the bunch stays, I've always wanted a daughter and the one that resembles you stays as well..." She looked down at the red one that reminded her of both herself and of Dice and couldn't help but smile.
She looked at the last puppy; it carried an almost striking resemblence of herself as a pup.
"You'll...find a good home my son." Freya whispered as she leaned down and began to lick him.

Dice whimpered low, not sure he was quite ready for this. There was that tiny detail he forgot about when they had gone on their 'walk' -- he was going to have to give up one. But he was certain the pain of losing one would be covered with the joy having him. "All right. It's set." He glanced at the ground, obviously distressed. Not even wanting to know the pain Freya must've been in.

"It's...set." She repeated his words and glanced away from her family, her tail no longer wagging. She never knew things would have gotten this...painful when she became a mother but it was something she'd have to face. Taking a deep breath and pushing away the sorrow of giving up one of the puppies, she turned to look at Dice and slowly nodded.
"Hopefully whoever adopts him stops by every now and than and we'll be able to see him." She said, attempting to be optimistic. "Should we try and find a human?"

Dice looked at Freya, getting just a glimpse of the pain of a mother in her eyes. "I think..." he uttered, "I think fate will make it's choice; wether we want it to or not." He smiled at her weakly. He gave her lick on the nose, "We're going to make it through this. Remember my promise; we'll go through everything together. Even giving up a child." He rubbed his gently against Freya, catching a glance of the pups. One already trying to stand up. He smiled at who it was - the one they were going to give up. "I have a feeling he's just as strong, heavenly star."

Freya rubbed her nose against his.
"Through thick and thin my good luck charm..." She whispered and watched out of the corner of her eye as the blue starry male they were giving up began his struggle to stand. "I have a feeling he'll make it out there in the world. He'll be just as strong and witty as his father."
Freya smirked and shook her head at the pup.

Dice laughed and smiled, "As strong and witty as me? I'm afraid you're forgetting your part. You just gave birth to four pups with out one snap at me. That, my dear, is strength." He laughed, watching the puppy as he nearly made it on his four feet. He shook his head, too, "We've got some fighters, hon."

"I didn't snap at you because I'm good like that." She said and started to laugh at how much she sounded like Lucian. "I didn't need to snap at you. You actually calmed me..."
She watched as another pup, the violet female that was smaller than the others, struggling to stand with her bottom wiggling in the air. Freya laughed and nudged the pups' bum with her nose. She fell over at once next to her brothers and began to paw at the air.

Dice smiled at Freya's words and laughed at the purple moonlit. He couldn't help but smile. She reminded him of Freya. "What are we going to name that bundle of brave?" He questioned staring at her, curiously awaiting a response. He watched the purple moonlit pawing the air and chuckled.

Blue barely noticed Starr walk in and leave. She was thinking about what to do with Poseidon. He keeps getting worse when his mood swings. She did look up after Freya had her pups. "Congrats you two. Looks like you have a fine litter of pups." Blue said. She then noticed how they seemed sad about something. She thought about what they had been saying and remembered them discussing which pup to give up for adoption. She then picked up on Dice saying that they should find a human. "Well if you're giving a pup up then Wolfie the one you want to see." Blue told the parents.
Scruffy watched Poseidon leave, not understanding his bad mood. He then turned his attention to Dice and Freya. He noticed four puppies lying close to Freya. She's had puppies. They're adorable. Scruffy thought to himself. He was trying to think of some wasy to tell them. He then thought of trying to speak. He open his mouth to give it a try and said, "Grraatss. ute ups." Which really meant congrats cute pups. He then realized he spoke even if he barely say anything.

In the midst of wallowing in the beauty of their children, Dice heard Blue speak up. Before he had a chance to speak up, Scruffy spoke. His ears perked and a smile spread across his face. Dice didn't dare move, in case Freya needed him as her pillow again. "Go Scruffy!" He exclaimed, obviously happy with the events that had occured that day.

"See Blue, it's like I said. He'll be talking up a storm in no time!" Freya smiled at Blue and Scruffy and returned her attention to her pups once again. Thinking over a few names in her head, she barked softly so as not to alarm the pups as she finally decided on a name.
"Aura...our little daughter Aura." Freya said softly as she licked the purple pup and glanced at the other two that were remaining.

Dice smiled at Freya, she was hung up on these pups. Sort of like he was. He liked the name given to the female, "I'll name the males. Fair enough?" He questioned, not really expecting an answer. He knew he'd never be as creative as Freya, but he tried anyway. "I like Casper for him," Dice pawed at the navy puppy that had his markings, accidently knocked him over. "And Dakota for him." Dice pawed at the red puppy that had Freya's markings, who turned and yipped at him. He smiled at Freya and tilted his head, "Is that okay?"
