Matsumi got this one on the second try, and it looked way harder than boar or bird. 'How could she this one faster? Perhaps... She was getting better? Awesome! Still feeling proud of herself, she moved on to the next one. Horse looked slightly annoying, but if she could get Hare in two goes, then she was sure she could get Horse in one. Nodding, her mind set, she attempted the Horse handseal.

Fudou Akio rolled 1 20-sided dice:

Some time reasonably early in the morning, but most definitely not at the crack of dawn, Fudou Akio's piece of crap ghetto alarm clock rang once. Fortunately Akio was used to it and immediately woke at this slightest alert. He was still at the age where he didn't have to sleep so he rolled out of bed with ease and changed into his work clothes of the day.
The house was quiet. Akio didn't know where his dad was, probably looking for a job as always, and his mum had mentioned that she'd had an early shift today. So Akio was left to fix a simple breakfast for himself. As he munched on his scrambled egg sandwich, he thought about what to do for the day. As much as he wanted to become a successful shinobi and achieve top grades in class, he didn't want to seem overly keen and arrive before the bell. (Although most of his classmates had.) Instead, Akio decided to mold some chakra before heading off to class.
He made the tiger hand seal - the one he'd noticed gave him the biggest rush of power and thus logically the most chakra to manipulate - and saw his familiar muddy teal chakra appear in a light aura around his hands. Drawing some slightly away from his fingertips he began just to squish it as a sort of warmup.

The chakra was surprisingly responsive to his touch and it rolled around basically like a liquid malleable form of Play-Doh, reacting to his hands' and arms' every movements. Akio focused on this task for a while, making a fist to remotely squish his chakra and do all the dumb destructive stuff young boys liked to do so much. He ripped it into two halves, leaving it still connected to his other hand of course, before pressing his palms together and joining up the chakra masses again. This continued for a while until Akio glanced at the clock - seems like a fair bit of time had passed, and oh. If he didn't hurry to the academy soon, he would be late.
Not wanting to make a bad impression, Akio grabbed his bag and hurried off to class.

佐 S a s 々 a k i 木 TAB 〈 T a k 隆 a s h i 〉 ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ "Ugh..."
The stucco ceiling above proved of no interest. Each small bump had been scrutinized and surveyed many times, the crusty crackling surface of opaque barely more amusing than the flies that buzzed about, sticking to the papers stapled into the drywall. It was strangely and disturbingly amusing, the incessant and overbearing buzzing of this creature's displeasure released the endorphins in his brain.
"Urgh, ugh..."
The outside was no more pleasing. The window gave a captivating view of the back of the store that shared a back alley with the apartment complex. No people, no animals, not even a passing bird. Just graffiti and smelly trash taken out from the small convenience store. Sometimes luck would shine down upon the neighborhood and the place would get robbed, giving the local residents a quick show.
"Urrragh! This sucks."
Day in, day out, this was the life Takashi lived. Since his return to Konoha, Takashi was being watched minute of every day by the ANBU Black Ops. Though their instructions were no doubt to remain hidden, they had slowly become disillusioned with the task, and had gotten sloppy with masking their presence. Eventually they carelessly left clues, and it wasn't hard for Takashi to figure it out. On some days they were even within sight, but it didn't make a difference. They were powerful enough to take him down, and had orders to kill Takashi should he put one foot out of line. So Takashi put on a good-boy act, and they kept watching, day in, day out.
Zephyr had told him that he was lucky to be alive, that had someone not vouched Takashi would be a model citizen and a valuable asset for Konoha's military. Since that meeting, Takashi was to be on house arrest except in circumstances that required his attention, buying groceries, paying bills, collecting his monthly welfare, and most importantly, finishing his training at the Academy. Unfortunately for Takashi, he had long since graduated the Academy, and had done just about everything imaginable within the small apartment in the lower class section of the village.
"... urrrgh..."
He had no TV, no video games, not even a book to read aside from the Academy scroll. Within the tiny apartment, he had only the most basic appliances, furniture, and a few amenities, towels, washcloths, dishes, silverware, glasses, toilet paper and linens. He only had a week's worth of clothes, and and cheap soap and shampoo. Takashi's life was a dull, cheap, and meandering life indeed.
And Takashi could take no more.
"I gotta get some fresh air."
Takashi knew he was not to leave the apartment, but his boredom had consumed Takashi for too long. He grabbed a shirt from out of his dresser, put it on over the armor mesh he wore as an undershirt, and walked to the front door. Takashi knew the consequences of his actions, the ANBU operatives had orders to take him out if Takashi disobeyed, but this kind of a life was meaningless, and if Takashi never went out to train, he would get out of shape and would be worthless for the Hoakge to keep around anyways. He turned the knob, and opened the door.
An ANBU shinobi sat straight across from him on the roof of the building across the road.
This was the first time that they had reveled themselves to him, it had to mean something. Takashi tilted his head slightly in confusion, and the ANBU nodded in kind; he was giving permission for Takashi to leave. He didn't know what discussions had gone on between the ANBU and the Hokage, but it seemed that perhaps they had been given the go-ahead to allow him some freedom. Takashi was going to take the ******** you too."
And Takashi left the Housing District for the first time in weeks.▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ❝| These eyes, which can see everything, could not save her. Doru was walking home, reading some book about an ancient hero who saved the world. He find out pretty generic, and thought that there could of been many other ways to save the world that would save more lives, and all that. He wasn't really paying attention to what was around him, mainly because he was finding some aspects of the story pretty good, like the character development.
He then just heard <******** you too' faintly. Which shocked him, mainly because he had never really heard that language before, it was only once before when one of his mother's friends said 'that mission was ******** bullshit'. Which was the first time he had heard both of those swearwords, and at his mother's funeral too. He had no respect for that man anymore due to that. And now he had no respect for who ever said that swear word just now. He looked around for who ever it was, but all he saw was some guy walking out of his house.
"You should go eat some soap!" He said it quite loudly, and with some authority.

The ANBU had never spoken before, let alone come near him, and this voice sounded very near indeed. Takashi looked around for the source, and it seemed to be coming from another boy walking near him. Obviously the boy had mistakenly thought Takashi was talking to him, being that the kid had his face buried in a book. Takashi really didn't want to seem crazy, but when he turned back to look where the ANBU had been, they were gone. Takashi would have to explain himself without any viable evidence.
Then again he really didn't give a s**t.
Takashi had never had to explain himself to anyone other than Kiyoshi or Zephyr, and let alone this kid. It reminded Takashi of the time he used to be training with Yarotai, and all the time Takashi had wasted trying to yell and scream at the ignorant man. It made him sick.
"I wasn't talking to you kid. Maybe if you pulled you head out of that book every once in a while, you might actually see when someone is and isn't talking to you."
Takashi wasn't going to stick around to talk to this kid, who seemed to already share the mutual dislike of him that Takashi had of... well, everyone. He needed to get to the Library before closing, there were a few new jutsus Takashi wanted to learn, and after the past few weeks of doing nothing, he really needed some training.

Sorain sat attently at the desk that resided in the corner of the of his room. His studious nature was obvious in his rooms decor. The entire room looked as though it had been meticiously organized from the scrolls that sat neatly in an organized row on a rack that hung from the wall to the various sets of wooden training gear that included blunt shuriken and kunai. This was the way he preferred things in his world. Everything had a place and purpose, even a stolen pencil wouldn't go unnoticed. "Rat" he whispered as his eyes scrolled quickly across the page of the green hand seal scroll that he had committed himself to rereading. He had long sense memorized the entirety of this scroll, along with every other that he held in his possession but he couldn't help it. If everything went according to plan he would be starting his first day at the ninja academy in the mourning and he was determined to be well prepared. Ever since he was eight, when his mother would take him and to the academy and let them sit outside and watch the aspiring ninja train. A ninja, a real Shinobi. It was all he ever wanted to be, and just about the only thing that he and his twin brother Sai had in common. For hours they would sit there and day dream vicariously about the day that they would be allowed to become strong. "Argh! I've gotta do it" he whispered. "I wanna be strong". It was a wish that he would often recite to himself when alone.

It was the only time that he would allow himself to show such signs of determination. He wanted to surprise people. He wanted people to look at him like a respectable Ninja. Rapidly Sorain tapped his feat against the floor in excitement as he continued to study the scroll. "Rat!" he said aloud as he curled his left hands fingers over the extend middle and index fingers of his right hand. "Oh..no wait" he stumbled, quickly reversing the positions of his hands to match the provided picture in the scroll. "Aww man" he complained while smacking himself over the head. Taking a deep breath, Sorain allowed himself to calm down before proceeding to the next seal to continued his studies. Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 0 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingSai came bustling into his brother's room unannounced, paying no heed to the fact that the door had been closed or the fact that Sorain was studying and definitely not the fact that his body was sullied with dirt and sweat as he lunged for the bed and sprawled out the clean sheets. "Aaaah, it feels so good to lay down." He moaned out, his heavy lids closing half way shut as he scuttled his way deeper into the comforts of the bed, his arms and legs stretching out their weary muscles as he did. Shifting his head so his face was now facing his brother but didn't bother to open his eyes or rather he couldn't be bothered to open them at all, "So what have you been up to, today?" He questioned with a heavy yawn.

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| A deep boiling sense of rage engulfed the normally calm spirited Sorain as his brother, covered from head to toe with the filth of his days training came barging unnaounced into his room and promptly plopped himself down on his bed, spreading grime and dirt throughout his sheets. "Idiot!" Sorain turned himself around in his seat so that he could send a proper glare at his aggravating sibling. "Your gonna replace my sheets or die!" he dramatically snarled while throwing balled sheets of paper at him from across the room. "Hmph...where have you been all day anyway? Were supposed to be studying hand seals for the academy. Meanwhile your out playing while I am doing home work." turning back around towards his desk Sorain stubbornly returned his attention to the scroll set out in front of him and proceeded to continue down the line of hand seals. "Ox!" he said aloud while sliding his open fingers across his upwardly extending left hand. He then held the seal for a few moments, mentally imagining himself performing a flashy jutsu as a result. He then continued practicing by alternating between Rat and Ox as fast as his fingers could manage without messing them up as best as he could. Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 1 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingSai groaned loudly to drown out Sorain's bickering voice, his body curling into the center of the bed as he quickly pulled the blanket to cover himself and dirty the inside of the bed sheets as well. "Nag, nag, nag." He yawned back in retort to his brother, his uptight brother, never knew how to have fun, always a party pooper. Pulling a knee to his chest, he let out a loud burst of flatulence, his hand fanning out the air towards his brother's desk as he ignored the paper balls that pelted him. "That's what I've been up to!" He cried out with a loud giggle and began to roll in the bed cheerfully in a fit of laughter that wouldn't die down for several minutes. But once he did somber up, Sai took the moment to glance at the desk and then back at Sorain, "We had homework? I did do a little studying... but... hunh..." He said, pulling a frown upon his face as he tried to remember what exactly had studied, if he had in fact studied at all.

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| "Hmph, Just as I thought. You slacked off and didn't study at all." he allowed himself to say, even though he had previously decided to ignore his brother and continue his study but before he could continue any further he had to do one thing. "Sai..get out of my bed! Your pissing me off now." he fumed, although deep down he knew that he was only making matters worse. This was the type of thing that Sai fed on, causing frustration in others and as time went on he became more and more sure that he was his brothers favorite person to annoy. "I wonder if there will be any room for your failed exam papers when I start bringing home A's every day. Don't worry, if you get in danger of flunking out completely I will let you copy a few answers to save your neck." he remarked coyly. "Tiger!" he continued practices while chaining the previous three hand seals into formation and repeating. He already knew how to properly form each seal, instead what he was practices was the chaining process that would surely be expected of him if he were to excel to the top of the class. Sure, the other kids might be able to perform one or two symbols, but he intended to blow everyone away with his progress. "You know I heard that there are more hand seals out there. More than just the normal twelve. Different families have their own hand seals that do special moves. I wonder how many more we are gonna have to memorize..." he said sternly more to himself than to his brother.
