Seth clutched the last vial in his hand and looked around. He was hoping to pour it on someone who hadn't been hit with a potion yet. Hoping his guess was right, he picked a wolf and chased after it, uncorking the vial and dumping the contents; he hoped they would land on the wolf.
Ama watched with a pout on her face as her father made yet another hit on potioning up a wolf. She was going to have to practice her aiming, she was. Twice she had missed, and that was unacceptable to her.

Almost out of bottles, looking down at them Grindell had to shake her head. She was honestly more preoccupied with looking for the Late One, he was the real threat not these mangy dogs.
With a slight huff, the pale colored lady tossed another potion down. This time, she didn't really look just happy to be rid of the bottle.
Oops, the snarl coming from the green wolf told her she had messed up. Even in wolf form, she was still uneasy with ticking her mother off. At least she didn't hit her, or maybe that was the mistake but at least after the moment the wolf seemed to lose interest in her.

Eudora eyed a wolf that seemed to be divided by colors, one half yellow, one half teal, stars speckling its coat. The wolf neared her and she tensed, potion ready. As the wolf snarled at her, she leapt into the air, taking wing, but not losing sight of her target.

Most everyone had thrown their potion bottles and a majority of the wolves seemed to be dripping and soaked by this point. A final glance around showed two vials of potion left on Takeko's table.
No sense letting those go to waste right?
Instructions Okay, girls, this is it. Mene and Kira will each roll one more time to break this tie. To hopefully prevent us from staying here all night, in case you both miss or both hit, you will roll 4 12-sided dice. The first three die will be the same as in all the previous days (which wolf, your number, the wolf's number). In the case of a tie again, you both miss/hit, then the fourth die will be used to break the tie. The highest value will win. If you tie AGAIN in that case, I will eat you both. Or you'll just roll again. Whatever. *snicker*

The glint of something caught Ama's attention and she turned, seeing two vials left on the table. Sprinting, she made it in time to snatch one just as one other Pae grabbed the remainder.
As she spun around, her eyes widened as a wolf lept at her. Uncorking the vial fast as she could, she flung the potion at the fanged creature.
SPLASH! The potion went all over the wolf, who immidiatly scampered away, growling angrily.
"I got one...?" Ama blinked in shock, then grinned and jumped up and down. "I GOT ONE!"

~*Points Game Results*~While there are still other prizes to come and RP to wrap up, we'll take a short break to announce a couple of winners! First of all, anyone who has taken part in the event, whether entering their Pae'il for participation, posting RP, and/or taking part in the points game may have a plushie! Congrats!  However, it seems something strange is happening to Kira's plushie! Perhaps it was her success in gathering ingredients, or maybe her Pae'il's efforts in aiding the possessed Pae...whatever it was, it seems that some of the Isle's magic has started to gather around her plushie. The plushie begins to glow, brighter and brighter, then with a flash of light...the plushie is replaced by... ...a small child?  Oh my...well, congrats, Kira! The way she's blinking at you...maybe she wants you to give her a name? ^_^ For her efforts, Menelie also finds herself in possession of something special. A coupon appears in her hands, granting her the right to one free jewelry edit courtesy of Teigra for one of her Pae'il. Congratulations girls! And remember everyone, there are still plenty of goodies to come, including but not limited to our RP prize! heart

The Pae'il were doing a good job of nailing most of the snarling, bounding wolves, even with their efforts to encite fear and confusion throughout the room. Sharp eyes keeping track of several encounters at once, as well as results, the hunter slipped around the outside of the room, fixating on two wolves that had avoided being soaked by any potion thus far and drenched them himself. None would escape the magical soaking.
Beneath his cloak, the hunter concealed a large vial still full of potion; that one was reserved for the Alpha himself. As soon as he was sure the spirits were exorcised and rendered powerless, he'd be off to do the same to the Alpha WerePae.
And judging by the strange behavior of the wolves, that wouldn't be long now. Several of the dripping beasts had slowed, seeming distracted and trying to shake the potion off, but with no luck; it was already too late. More and more of the wolves slowed, whining and growling as they hunched over and shook their heads. The magic of the potion began taking effect at last, the furry creatures being enveloped in a growing fog, much like that out on the marshes tonight. The figures were soon obscured from view, though they could still be heard within...the animal noises soon giving way to voices, some confused, some relieved, some angry...
The fog started to settle and the hunter began allowing himself to relax as the first of the cured Pae'il's heads appeared from the cloudy haze. A dozen cured Pae'il stood in the center of the room, looking about for their loved ones...
...as well as a dozen similar-looking wolves.
...wait a minute, that wasn't right.
Tense once more, the hunter rushed forward, slowing only as one of the wolves snarled at him. It certainly seemed to be real...mostly? Or was it? Still, the spirits should have been exorcised from the Pae'il and left with no physical form to possess, should have faded away. This...was somewhat unexpected.
"Well...this is interesting," he mused, thinking back. He'd known that there was a time limit, that the spirits needed to be exorcised from the Pae'il hosts before the night had passed. Otherwise, they ran the risk that the spirits would have been able to take hold of the Pae'il permanently. However...he hadn't quite expected this odd side effect.
"It seems...that your loved ones have gained new friends." Was that amusement in his voice? "Do not worry. They have no power remaining for possession. And yet...it seems the spirits have spent enough time with you to have gained something of their own. A physical form...and a bond." He relaxed his posture, taking a couple steps back from the snarling wolf which then calmed, still eying him with suspicion. "From what I can tell, they'll be very protective of their previous hosts. They owe them for their physical forms, yes, but they are connected with an unseen bond, thanks to their extended time together." He crouched down, seeming to study another wolf closely, this one merely staring back at the unseen face beneath the hood.
"Quite interesting..." he mused.

((Ok, I'm throwing my peeps back in. Sorry about the poof. sweatdrop ))
Karma followed Fate and well...Fate had not been kind. Not only had she lost her group, she had not found how to get back or help in the least. What was Seth going to think about her? She sighed and knew Fate had a reason for this mix up.
Karma stumbled back to the group and waited to see what happened. She felt a bit bad that she didn't help.
Karma wasn't the only lost pae out there. Woobie fell back to where the group was. He had sweat pouring off him. He looked as though he had been running after or from something. Whatever it was he was back now. "Pastela?"
Aspen went to Takeko. He had looked for where Saffron went and missed the whole potion using. "I'm sorry I was very helpful." He said to his love. "How are you?" He knew she did a wonderful job as the apprentice.
Cinna stood next to Phim. He had done an excellent job. She was a bit ready to go back to her children though. She held his arm and didn't say anything.

Jazz watched as the wolves changed and then the Pae'il went back to themselves. She smiled until she saw the wolves again. The elder was confused until the hunter explained it. "Well, that was odd. Now what?" She asked wondering if there was any more they needed to do or help with.
Anna-Maria had skipped the potion bit as that was way too much work for her. Now that is was over she hoped she could get some nice rum or some other drink.
Apollo looked rather confused. What in the world had just happened? Why did he feel like he needed a shower...a long hot shower? He looked down at the wolf that looked like him. "Wha?"
The wolf only snorted at the yellow glowing Pae.

Takeko had decided to lay low, having finished her part of the task by making the potions. Now that things were quieting down, she finished cleaning up from her preparations and turned to meet her mate. "I'm fine, sweetie. I'd be more worried about those poor recovering Pae out there." She glanced over at the group, concerned by the lingering presence of wolves, but actively seeking out the sight of lost loved ones.
Seeming disoriented at first, the cured faun staggered a bit, rubbing his head, before he seemed to get his hooves under him in a more stable manner. Woah...wait, hooves? He blinked and opened and closed his hand in front of his face. He was free! He was himself again!
Faroth nearly leapt into the air with joy...when he noticed the furry, four-legger at his side. He nearly jumped out of his skin, flailing to get away from the beast and falling on his tail in the process. "Okay...don't eat me..." he muttered, eyes wide and heart pounding while he tried to come up with an escape plan. Blue eyes stared back as the creature tilted its head at his actions. It seemed...amused. Didn't help when the canine's tail swished over the floor in a hesitant wagging motion. The faun frowned, relaxing a bit, but seeming less than pleased.
"Hey...are you laughing at me?"

Sera groaned, shaking her head, hair tattered from the cute style it had been when she had left to come to this stinking ball thing. The tiny fae child searched around frantically for her family, they were fighting the other wolves, she really hoped they hadn't gotten harmed. She had even attacked a couple of pae, the thought alone made her shudder.
Sera looked at the purple and black wolf next to her, glaring at it. That foul thing was what caused her to attack her family in the first place! For some reason it just stayed there, looking at her. What the hell did it want? It was then that she noticed what that creepy guy was saying. Oh man, she was stuck with the bugger now?
"Elviiiiisssss..." She whined, looking for him. She really hoped the wolf wouldn't attack him when she found her favorite, and only, brother.

Seraphim stood up straight, briefly pondering the thought of kidnapping one of the children that had been changed for his own purposes. He shook the thought away, wrapping an arm around his mate. It was probably about time to get back in any case. Seraphim looked at the demon who clung to his arm, just as silent as she for now. His gaze returned to the cloaked figure, waiting for some sort of sign that it was okay to leave.

Seth pulled Karma into a tight hug from behind. "Thank fate you're ok...." he muttered softly as he buried his face against the back of her head. It was only once she was safe in his arms that small shakes went through him, and it was clear he'd been worried about her.
Ama saw Apollo and squealed happily. "You're back! You're okay!" Hooved feet pounding the ground, she was just about to launch herself into the air to pounce on him when she skidded to a halt, staring wide-eyed at the wolf. After a few seconds, she looked around, frowning. "Where's my big stick...."
Pastela stood there, eyes wide and head spinning; she was confused, disoriented, dizzy, and her head felt foggy. All the colors seemed to blur around her, and blink as she might, she couldn't seem to see straight. Perking up at the sound of her name, she gave a small, wobbly turn towards the voice. "W-woobie? What happened...?"

"Yes, me too. I hope Saffron is ok as well." His son had gone off to find another pae, but hadn't returned. Aspen tried to follow after a bit but no such luck. Aspen then spotted his sister. "Alicia!" He waved her over to meet Takeko
Alicia rubbed her eyes. She felt as if she had awoken from a terrifying dream. She saw her brother and moved to visit when she noticed a sound next to her. A purple wolf was following. "Hey!" She said startled at it. The wolf's tongue flopped out and it continued to follow her.
"And you too." Karma said as she was hugged. She turned around to face the fae with a bright smile. "I knew things would turn out." Fate usually does.
Woobie ran over to Pastela and took her in his arms. "You were... but your are ok now." He had happy tears running down his cheeks. He had never been this worried before! "I'm so glad you are ok!"
Cinna looked around to see everyone was ok and had a tag-a-long wolf with them. She saw her ex-mother there as well. She wondered if this experience would change her mind about Noel. She secretly hoped it would, but figured it wouldn't.

"So, should this party get back to going?" Jazz was the entertainment elder and felt she should give them all a good show. After all that happened the night cooling off and letting loose with fun might be good for them all. "I can sing 'Hungry like the Wolf'." She giggled.
"Yep...I guess I'm back." The light fae was still a bit lost on what had happened but he was glad to be back...or he felt he was. He looked to the faun and then the wolf. "He's okay, I think... don't worry about him." He touched the wolf's head and knew that he was okay.
The wolf snorted again. Sure she was fine as long as Apollo said she was. Which is what the wolf took him to mean as well.
