Drake hobbled his way unto the prarie as he adjusted the medicine box on his back. "Hi!" he smiled childishly as he set the box down, pretending like it was extremely heavy. He looked at her and tilted his head sideways. "So...what's your medical skill so far?" Drake asked her, he needed to know where to start with her.

Drake took the scroll and read it. It was very basic stuff...he looked at the scroll then looked at the girl, then back down at the scroll. "THIS IS PERFECT!" Drake exclaimed as he took out his own scroll of medical jutsus. "THis means you've got a fresh start. See there's a lot of things wrong with medical shinobis, and that's the fact that they are trained improperly. The fact that you've got a fresh start on this, means that I can mold you into a great medical shinobi!" Drake smiled. "So are you ready to get started?"

As they stood on the field, Drake spotted a squirrel running across it. Drake took out a single senbon and using his kage skills he launched it at the squirrel. The senbon pierced through its leg as the squirrel cried out in pain. "Don't worry...it'll be fine...if you do things right," Drake explained as he walked over to it. "First you must use your chakra like so," Drake explained as his hands shone white. "Kiyomaru, the cleans technique, it removes all bacteria that could harm the victim. Then use Shindan," Drake told her as he placed his hand over the squirrel, "To diagnos the patient, sort of like an X ray. Right now, his leg is broken. Then, using your chakra you will levitate and remove the senbon by using the Tekishutsu technique. By doing so it elimenates the possibiltiy of the senbon breaking and being stuck. And finally use your charka to ease the muscles to relax the squirrel. After you do that, we will continue with the healing process," Drake smiled at her.

Academy Student

Shindan (Diagnosis)
Description: The first step in treatment is understanding the problem. With this skill a shinobi uses their hands to carefully probe a patient for problems. This technique is preformed by kneeling over a patient and slowly running both hands over their body, looking for signs of injury that may not be visible to the naked eye. It can detect things such as internal injury, improper heart rate, non-apparent bone fractures, poisoning, and disease. A ninja of higher rank has learned to use this technique to perform a rudimentary examination of a body to determine cause and time of death. A Genin using this skill takes several minutes of work to determine the nature of a problem, a Chuunin takes less than a minute and a Jounin requires only a few seconds.

Kiyomaru (Cleanse)
Description: It is not always possible for a medical nin to practice basic hand washing and other procedures. This technique has the effect of instantly removing bacteria, dirt, blood, and other contaminants from the user’s hands, lower arms, and face. It also insures that any breath that comes from the user’s body will be free of any bacteria or infectious disease. This technique can also be used to clean the wounds of others in order to prevent infection from bacteria. It the event that the medical nin is using this technique to prevent infection of an injury that has been inflicted upon them, it is used as if the shinobi were using it on somebody else.

Shiatsu (Massage)
Descriptio: For a variety of reasons, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can become overworked and painful. This may be because of some type of injury or it may simply be the result of too much work without enough rest. By applying the proper amount of pressure at the right points and using small amounts of chakra a medical nin is able to relieve pain and help the patients body recover more quickly. A strain or sprain can seriously hinder the effectiveness of a shinobi and as such this technique really can make a difference.

Tekishutsu (Extraction)
Description: When a patient’s body has a foreign object in it, such as the point of a shuriken, a senbon needle, or an arrow, it is important to remove the object without further harming the patient. Using this technique the medical nin places their hands on either side of the injured area and uses chakra to very carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues in order to remove the object without causing any further damage. Depending on the severity of the wound and nature of the object, it can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes to remove it.

As fordon ran through he reviewed all of the points he had learned. he tried striking then all as fast as possible. he no longer could feel the weights that held him down and he tried to go faster and faster. he was getting good at moving without making a noise. soon as he was done he ran out of there and on to the next point of the village

A lightning bolt streaked across the approaching night sky and crashed into the bloody prairies somewhere near Enzeru and Drake. In the dust cloud that died down after the initial shock of the crash, a loosely clothed black-haired shinobi casually stood within. "Hmph, so this is the "Bloody Plains, huh?" he said under an animalistic growl.

A squealing sound made the young man's ear twitch and he stepped out of the dust cloud to appear before Enzeru. His electric blue eyes seemed to pierce through everything it gazed upon, and his open chest showed off an athletic build as a black vest was the only thing covering the man's shoulders. "Kinda sadistic ain't ya, to be hurting a small animal like that." he murmered as he eyed the bloody senbon nearby. The squirrel suddenly leaped up on his shoulders, as if completely tame to him.

The young man stared at her for a second, and then picked the squirrel off of his shoulder to place it gently on the ground again. "Geez, medical ninja should just stick to using dead fish. Animals are already fearful of mankind without somebody throwing sharp objects at them." he muttered, looking away. He seemed to understand that the woman before him was a gentle one.
