"Soukatsui!" Mitsuoki suddenly called out as the Bandit tore itself away from his grip and jumped back. The blue ball of fire shot from his hand as the Bandit barely managed to get back into his ready position. Coming into contact with the tip of the spear the blue ball vanished.

Mitsuoki was left speechless as the Bandit thrust his spear forwards catching Mitsuoki square in his left shoulder as he'd turned around to ready himself for the next attack. A gamble that hadn't paid off this time. He grimaced as the pain spread through his body.

Yet he didn't fall, though his knees were weak enough, instead he placed his right hand on the spear.

"I'll have you're heart for your impudence." Turned from pain and regret to just plain anger Mitsuoki had rarely been touched like this, normally he'd just be on his merry way already, now he had a spear in his shoulder. In his head he heard the scream of his Zanpakuto. The bandit merely laughed and stepped forward pushing Mitsuoki. The Shinigami fell toppling to the ground, his strength was quickly leaving him as blood threatened to seep from his mouth as he fell and then he smiled. Mitsuoki disappeared from sight leaving the bandit momentarily confused.

On the other end of the battle field, it seemed that the Bandit that Anru was facing hadn't merely fallen over but fell into a wall which had partially collapsed on him. From Mitsuoki's view he thought that fairly perceptive, his gaze cast over the young girl he was traveling with. Everything seemed frozen for a moment as she seemed to be drawing down her Katana on her foes head. On the other hand, the Bandit had started to fall backwards, she'd miss, striking the ground behind the bandit. By far these were some of the more skilled bandits he'd seen in a while. As if they were being trained.

"Death." Mitsuoki muttered as he swung his twin bladed Scythe, Odin's Valkyrie over his head around and under his left arm driving one of the blades suddenly up into the Bandit's back, his heart popped out of his chest speared on the blade's tip. And then Mitsuoki fell to his knee. He'd taken the very tip of the spear with him when he used his Shunpo, now it was buried in his shoulder and continued to sap his energy.

Damn...Spirit stone....

By the time Mitsuoki looked up, the Bandit having fallen backwards was already twirling his own spear around and thrusting.

Roselily was trying to focus her thoughts, after seeing the vision. For some reason, she kept hearing things, and seeing other beings: The girl that was dressed as a samurai, a boy that looked confused, the wolf-faced man,Mitsuoki, Yu, Quellu,Sumiko, and the Assaian. She heard the voice in her head more clearly when she saw him:"Drake" . She was puzzled, but finally got her head clear.

(This is gonna leave a bad taste sorry)

The bandit's body fell to the floor and as he did so he noted two intriguing situations, he was fast...but he couldn't get to save both of them. There was a choice that had to be made and it had to be made quickly.

Both of them were Konpaku, both were about to have their fates sealed. As the Bandits attacked their respective partners, Mitsuoki felt an unfamiliar twang of guilt. A flash of an idea as he moved to use a Hadou...until his shoulder burned in excruciating pain. No, he couldn't, he really did have to choose.

"And this is what I get for...." His voice didn't appear to have a body as he rushed forwards, hoping he could save one and against all odds bounce back to save the other. He headed straight for Tsuriai, as the Bandit jumped to stab down the spear into the girl, Mitsuoki took off, tackling the bandit into a nearby wall and then he bounced off. Would he make it in time.

Mitsuoki was too late. He knew that when he saw the spear, but the look on the Bandits face as Mitsuoki looked up, his eyes fixed on his prey. There would be no surrender. No white flag.

Odin's Valkyrie was already out. The blade started burning, dark purple flames emanated from it before he decapitated the bandit and on the return swing plucked out his heart.

"Burn." Mitsuoki looked back as the Bandit he had barreled into the wall had regained his composure for a moment as he found himself pinned to the wall by the twin bladed scythe. His clothes started to burn spontaneously and that was the end of bandit number two. As he collected his Zanpakuto he smiled sweetly and offered his right hand to help the young Samurai to her feet.

Yu looked back at Quellu, "My home, I'm going in the front door." The man motioned defiantly as he waved his arm towards the large citadel in front of them. He carried on walking but something stopped him.

He felt something. The flow of souls had been altered, only very slightly but it wasn't normal. Yu allowed his gaze to drift up to the sky.

"Hm." He pondered for a moment and without realizing had stopped walking. A shiver ran up the blue haired mans spine. 0 Division weren't going to be happy about that. Usually twelfth division cleared up any kind of residual mess, but...this seemed quite different.

"Come we should hurry." or this really will turn into a blood bath he added silently. His pace began anew as he headed quickly for the gates of Seireitei. The west gate.

Anru woke up. That was the confusing thing, but the even stranger thing was where he woke up. In a large park in the middle of a city, specifically on a grassy hill overlooking a lake. He bolted upright.

"There you are Sanu!" A young girl cried out happily pointing at him. He recognized but he didn't know why. The girl could have only been six or eight and then she pouted just like a girl twice her age, "Hide and seek is no fun when you just pop up you know!" She exclaimed. Anru waved back and smiled. Something wasn't right, he wasn't supposed to be here.

Then he heard a scream in the distance, the girl didn't seem to notice at all.

Slap.

"I said are you okay." Anru had disappeared off into a daze it seemed, but he still had thoughts, images loitering about in his head, maybe he'd been daydreaming about Shinigami.

"Yeah...Shinobu." How the hell did he know the girl's name. Nonetheless she grinned believing everything was okay it seemed, she pulled him by the hand to his feet. He felt a little disorientated as if something wasn't quite right.

The Assaian had just came back to the town from his bath, when he sensed a presence, he whirled around , and was about to strike, when he saw what it was. A little girl came up to him, big, sad eyes. He relaxed, but only a little. The girl looked up at him, and said,"Do you know where my Mom and Dad are?"

The assaian just looked at her, then began to walk away, at a fast pace. The little girl began to follow him, asking questions, like,"Who are you? What is your name? Where are you going? Where did you come from? Are you a Shinigami? " And she asked on, and on. He then turned to the girl and said, "If you keep pestering me, you're going to find out fast what i do. Begone, NOW!!" She froze, Looking beyond him at something, with a look of pure terror. He turned slowly...
