Seth leaned against the gate and tapped his fingers on the metal. "Enter Seth Usher." He said walking on into the mansion. Try not to attract attention to yourself. Seth smirked, cleared his throat and yelled out. "Anyone home?"

Leon appeared next to Seth, his hand on Seth's shoulder as if a vice had been placed there.
"What is your business here? The master desires not strangers, only followers."Leon's first instinct was to kill the man, but Cassus' orders were clear. That question was to be asked, then he had permission to do whatever he wished while Cassus was gone.

tucking the blanket around her mother Miri looked up, freezing as she saw Seth and the man Leon. with a last glance to make sure her mother was alright, she stood and moved hesitantly to Seth's side. looking at the mans hand she cleared her throat, her voice quiet. " he is a friend.. can i speak to him before he leaves?" Miri simply tried to keep her head down, showing she was asking.. not demanding. she knew he had to go.. the man seemed too easy with killing, and she didnt want her friend in danger.

Seth hid his fear of the man and said. "Just coming to say hi to a friend." He turned to Miri and sheepishly said. "Hi."

" Hey.." she figited, looking worried as she studied him. " my mother has fallen ill.. i think it had somthing to do with the grave yard or something.. you feeling ok?"

Leon didn't like this. The girl might be more perceptive then they thought, in which case the enemy should know nothing of what was happening. Leon sent a surge of magic through Seth banishing him to the gates of the mansion permanently. If he tried to get back he would only find himself at the gates once more. He was of course able to go anywhere else he'd like but the mansion was closed to him.
"Get back inside child, the Lord Cassus demands it."Leon pushed her back into the main room and closed the doors. He walked to where Aro was and spoke before disappearing.
"Keep an eye on the child, I have a feeling we may be having more guests soon."Upon Leon's disappearance Cassus appeared in his throne.

color shot through her hair and eyes, fading slowly as she stiffened. she wasnt an idiot.. act nice and smile, and people assumed you were too innocent or weak to care for yourself. if they had made that mistake.. they had another thing coming. pulling on her fathers magic she gritted her teeth, moving back into the house and to her mothers side on the throne rooms floor. kneeling she pulled the blanket back, her tone soft yet powerful as she whispered. " Mother.. wake up. it isnt safe."
she blinked slowly, a small smile turning up the corners of her mouth as she took Miri's hand. " Miri..?" Bain sighed, pressing the heel of her hand to her forhead. goddess it hurt.. a mother of all headaches had settled there, yet she couldnt remember what had caused it.. " I cant remember, where are we sweet?" the other womans breathing drew her attention, dark blue eyes burning fire as she focused on Aro. in a heart beat she was crouhing between the woman and her child, silver dagger drawn as she studied her. neither she nor Miri had noticed Cassus, his coming so silent it hadnt triggered their senses. twitching her dagger she let a bit of her energy loose and growled low, fully a warrior now as she ordered softly. " you get up, you leave.. or ill end you now and be done with it she-wolf."

Seth sighed and twiddled his thumbs. There wasn't much left he could do. "What the hell is going on in there." He shook his head and made his way off into the forest.

Cassus yawned and waved his hand. An amulet appeared on Aro's neck and it glowed as Bain became angry.
"With that the feisty devil is yours Aro. Have fun with your new thrall, as long as that mark is on her arm, she's under your control. Perhaps enthralling the child would make for good fun, say the word and I'll do it. I'm always looking for something better to do."Cassus chuckled to himself, he did enjoy enabling destruction and sorrow, almost as much as he loved causing it.

Aro shook her head, for the first time actualy smiling. it held no bitter edge, or sarcastic tilt.. just pure amusement. " oh, you may not want to do that Cassus. if you want to play with somthing stick to the mother, she was Sergei's mate after all." still she lifted a hand, directing her will at the demon. " put your dagger away, relax and let your mind open." she still had a few memories to twist or lock away.. while the demon was confused and not aware enough to fight her. almost absently she leaned her hip against the arm of Cassus's throne, her voice soft as she mused. " Miri is Sergei's second child, thralling her wouldnt work so well because her fathers magic would twist it. it would either not effect her correctly, or kill her." she was sure the only reason it had worked on Bain was that the demon was still too unfocused no her memories.

Cassus didn't seem surprised, or happy for that matter. In fact he didn't seem to care at all which was slightly odd.
"Yes, I've known for quite some time. Admittedly I was the one who was hunting Reks and Bain in the first place. I'm also not horribly surprised she came back from the dead, I had thought she died by the hand of one of my minions but this shows quite the contrary. But it is important for you to know that Sergei has no idea of his daughter, thus his magic is null and void. Thralling Miri would be as simple as thralling her mother. However, once I do, he will know everything that is to come, and that would be bad. It will be much simpler to keep them both here and out of trouble. However, that isn't to say that we can't have fun. If you feel compelled to work off some of those souls you should put a cloak on her and take her out killing. The Hallow Village was a personal favorite place of Sergei's. In fact I think he already destroyed it once."Cassus waved his hand and in it appeared the old book he always read. After a moment of what seemed to be thinking he began reading it again.

Bain made a low growling sound, gritting her teeth as she fought the comand. her head hurt and her body screamed, but still she lifted her chin and crossed her arms over her chest. the mark on her arm heated and she winced, feeling her barriers breaking slowly. a sound of pure wrath escaped her and she threw her barriers to the wind, snapping sharply to Miri. The chant that witch taught her, use it and get going. she wasnt talking to her daughter now, instead she was alpha speaking to a lower member in her pack. the order was pushed through with her magic, making it a flat out demand.
Miri flinched and backed up, nodding slowly. she learned all that Zoey could teach her.. it now had a use. her voice was quiet as she murmered in ancient vampire, the chant was a binding. pushing into her mothers mind she slamed the spell into it, locking her memories away herself. just as quickly as she could manage she spun away and ran, throwing up a small barrier to reflect magic coming at her as she made a break for the door. she had bound her mother, just as Bain had taught her to do in case one of them was caught. this way they couldnt hurt her mentaly.

This time, Cassus did laugh. No matter what they did they weren't in the normal world, they were inside of Cassus' world. As Miri ran the distance only seemed to double as corridor after corridor passed by and the exit seemed farther and farther away. Eventually Cassus radiated with energy and a wall of human corpses blocked Miri's every exit.
"Don't be foolish girl, you're in my world now, and you make a poor choice in thinking I don't understand both ancient vamparic and about fifteen different dead demon languages that Bain might know. I've been preparing for this for one hundred years, you don't stand a chance. Though why you would want to seal away you're memories is a mystery to me. The more you know, the more Sergei knows. Besides, torturing you and your mother is useless to me. Ah, and Aro, about taking Bain out for slaughtering innocents. I'd do that about now, Sergei will meet you there. Oh how fun this will be to watch. Mates, fighting eachother without even knowing it."

" that was well played.." she mused, gesturing to Bain. shift. " the girl locks her mothers mind so i cant play with it.. then casts a tacker spell as as she distracts us by running.." shaking her hair back she whistled for Bain, treating her as a guard wolf as she chuckled coldly. " this is why you dont get attached to others.. they can be used to weaken you." with that she touched the pendant, pulling Bain with her to the hallow village. there was no use in stoping the tracker, it wouldnt reach beyond the mansion walls anyway.
