"Right-o, I guess that makes my exit. Pleasure meeting you Grace." Salazar said grabbing his pack and getting up. He strode to the door and my his way to the ruins.

Jonas resisted scoffing. "You know Edward, in the end he always fights alone." Jonas let himself curl up in her arms. "It's his internal struggle with himself. One that I fear that he may not win this time around."

Banshi walked into the village, along with Mercy. "I have a friend here, so no worries." She tapped on the door, gently rapping. Turning to Grace, she smiled a little bit nerviously and whiserped, "I know atleast one person is inside, but in case this is not the best time, don't worry.... I know a few other people here, alright?"

Mercy nodded, trusting her to keep them from danger as she scanned the street. a small shop caught her attention, brightly colored glass charms glinting in a candles light behind the window. entranced she made a mental note to go in to that shop at some point, her cheerful gaze flicking over the street adress as she waited with Banshi. " What a odd store."

Banshi glanced over at it. "Yes, it has been there for a long time... an artist lives there, if I remember correctly." Looking back at the door, she finally sighed, took out a piece of paper, and wrote on it: Banshee was here.
Turning to Mercy, she then walked, leading her a few more block to another home. Banshi was greeted warmly, along with her friend, by an elderly couple. Banshi had once, several years ealier, saved their small daughter at the time from a clan of vampires who were attacking the village. Ever since, they still kept in touch occasionally. The older lady led Mercy to their shower and bathroom.

Smiling in grattitude the girl gently closed the door, carful not to break anything as she went about getting cleaned up.
Almost a hour later she came out, her hair mostly dry and her cloths still a little damp.. she had washed them in the sink and let them dry as she bathed. in truth, she wanted to know whos house they had visited first.. but didnt want to annoy Banshi. if she had learned anything in their short time together, it was that if Banshi wanted her to know something she would tell her when she was ready. pushing her hair over her shoulder she sat indian style in a wooden chair near the table watching the older couple move about the kitchen. tilting her head to the side she offered kindly. " Thank you.. your home is lovely."

The older girl nodded and said thank you, and that Mercy should always feel welcome to come by if she ever needed anything. Banshi walked into the room, carrying two large baskets. "Here you go miss." She handed them to the older girl, who said thank you, very grateful. Inside was food, fabrics, and wine. "It's alright, it's really not all that much." Banshi smiled kindly, reassuring them that it was ok. Turning to Mercy, she asked, "Mercy, are you about ready to go?"

Edward Grey Jonas resisted scoffing. "You know Edward, in the end he always fights alone." Jonas let himself curl up in her arms. "It's his internal struggle with himself. One that I fear that he may not win this time around." "Eddy's a survivor, love." Fall said, combing her fingers through her hair. "How about we find him, Jonas. Once he's resurrected..."Setting down her goblet, chai tea this time, Grace listened to the door slam and the sound of Gage's footsteps stomping upstairs. "Gage," she called, taking the steps two-at-a-time. Opening the door, Grace slipped inside, watching him pace angrily. "Love, love...come here." Taking his hands gently, she eased him into her arms and held him."Mother..." "She'll be fine, darling. Strong spirit, she has."

Banshi suddenly got a bad feeling. "Mercy, let's go." To Haven, I will lead you to where we will stay... there is someone there we need to talk to or see, we are needed there. Banshi wanted to train her a lot more, but decided they could train after they got there. She would take her hunting very soon, and would have no choice but to take a lot of risks and really push Mercy to her strongest faster than Banshi had origionally planned to do.

Even this early in the morning the streets were filled with merchants and customers, little kids making her smile as she walked. The crowd seemed to be getting thicker too as they neared her house. Nodding to herself she took his hand, hoping he knew it was because she didn't want to risk losing him. It seemed that times really were different for him than before, and avoiding a scene was at the top of her list for the agenda of the day. "We're getting closer."

At first he didnt seem out of place, his manner calm as he studied the people.. but he snaped to attention when something grabbed him. he looked down at her hand, startled at her boldness. for now he let the matter go, sweeping his gaze over the crowd again as he felt a suspicious flare. so many humans.. but not one word of a dragon..?

SHe felt him tense before he seemed to relax, understanding going through her when she looked back and saw his face. "With everything else going on, I believe the dragons may prefer it this way." After a few more moments she led him down a back alley to avoid any more crowds, stopping in front of a small house a few houses from the vendors. Now she felt shy. "I need the keys."

He blinked at her, a wicked smile settling into place as he realized what she was talking about. handing her the metal bars he pushed her towards the strange cottage.. turning away as he memorized which was hers. " dont come out, stay inside and be safe.." it was time his race stopped hiding, he would insure these creatures remembered who they were. walking back into the street he simply let himself transform, a blood chilling roar echoing across the vally fallowed by a plum of smoke as the village caught fire. people screamed as he teaseingly chased them through the streets, crumbling buildings with his bulk and swatting people absently with his tail. when, at last, the bloodlust had faded he lay in the ruined part of the village.. nothing but fine white ash and the bodies he was eating in sight. Lys's house was on the undamaged side of the village.. he had no wish to crisp his helper so soon after all.. but oh these humans were good.
