"Thank you." After trying a bite of the noodles, he could see why Zen had said it was his favorite. It was robust and full of different flavors that Basti couldn't even to try to start identifying. "Where'd you learn to cook like this? Besides, living in a place like this, most people would have someone cook for them."

"My mommy taught me." Zen said, with a silly delight. "Yeah I did have a whole enterage of servants cooking for me and stuff, but it was funner to do it myself on occassion, and I had to know how to take care of myself when I was younger." Zen was having too much fun paying attention to his sauce than to watch what he was rambling about.

"I don't really remember, it was too long ago to remember." Atra pondered, "I suppose I was powerful like I am, but in the sun..." The creature was feeling something, but he didn't know what it was. It was stirring of something he'd once had long ago.
"You don't deserve to be in here." Togada snapped back and took a fighting stance with a bow of shining blue energy cord.

Angela shifted her eyes back to the intruder and stood, giving her a broken smile. "I suppose I'll leave then."
She started toward the door and then paused to look at her. "A rather lot of people seem to think I'm not good enough. So if that was supposed to hurt, you'll have to try a bit harder."

Akuenshi merely smiled. "If you were as you are now, then you must've been a great being, whatever it was that you were," he told him, placing his hands on his hips. "Too bad you don't remember. Do you remember your age, or at least have a guess? You're most certainly an immortal. I can feel it, but your soul doesn't tell me anything about you. Which makes me more eager to find out!"

"Not you Fritzy, I was talking to him." Togada was still in her stance as the black cloaked figure from before kicked over Togada when she was distracted with angela. After that it went straight for Angela's throught.
"Oh s**t!" Zen jumped up and turned off the stove. "Hey Basti there's something bad in the castle. Stay here and watch the clongi please!" He upped and ran off at that point.

"Oof!" Angela landed with a thud and something heavy on top of her. "Bloody Hell!" She struggled with the form on top of her, unable to do a damn thing but wriggle around underneath it. She managed to throw up an arm so the teeth it had aimed for her throat sank into her arm instead.
She screamed and drove a knee into it. She recognized this thing. This was what had hurt Zen.
Suddenly every ounce of self pity in her body was replaced by fury. She screamed again and started to thrash around, trying to get away.

The monster began to send it's poison into angela and suck her blood when Togada managed to blow it off her with a blast of fire.
"Run Fritzy! Get Fire top!" Togada got off, before she was forcefully teleported away by the cloaked figure.
"Well, looks like you'll get to see me in action after all. Zenny is going to beg me to help in a bit. Look outside, you see the millions of demon faces butting up against the membrane walls of Kall? That's an army waiting to get in here, and Zensekai is powerless.... so.... of course he's got to ask me nicely to save everybody like usual." Atra deducted for Aku, he wasn't going to reveal what his secrets were that easily.

Angela struggled to her feet. She could feel some sort of poison raging through her veins though her body was struggling to neutralize it. "Whoa. Hello lightheadedness, how are you today?" she asked. She grabbed her arm, which was bleeding profusely.
She didn't know where the annoying girl went but the thing that attacked her still there.
"Run. Right. I'll get to that as soon as the room stops spinning." Unfortunately, the room didn't seem interested in standing still for her. "What I really would like to know is why someone is trying to eat me suddenly. Zen was cooking a perfectly passable meal in the kitchen and I'm almost certain I wasn't on the menu."

Akutenshi glanced through the entrance of the crater, peering out of the darkness, but all he could see was light. With a huff, he floated up to the top and peered over the edge. Once satisfied, he rejoined Atra at the bottom. "They really do look angry," he commented. "You can take care of them? Why?"

Zen poofed into the room, white as a sheet. "ah hell it had to be that b*****d!"
He saw Angela had been bitten, and glared at the figure.
"You are one hell of a pain in the a** Zensekai, how many time do I have to kill you for you to stay dead?" He pointed to the red headed woman on the wall, "At least she had the sense to die when she was supposed to."
Zen grabbed Angela around her waist, "Time to run!" He poofed them to the front of the castle's big doors, on the other side of it in order to get away from the guy.
"I can do anything." Atra bragged sarcastically. "I don't much like them, they're annoying and I wouldn't mind blasting them to bits. At least you and Zenny are entertaining." He didn't know why he felt like creaming them for Zen actually, he just did.

"He...he's the one who hurt you, isn't he?" Angela asked. She remembered the vision she had seen the first time their minds had connected. Was he also that person--the one who'd killed Zen's sister? "Wh--why...did he attack me?"

"Well, I can do anything as well," he huffed. "You're just able to do it for free." Akutenshi then brightened at the compliment. "Me? Entertaining?" The man laughed. "That's a first!"

"He needed to eat an immortal to regenerate to his full power." Zen was looking at the towering wall of demons trying to butt into the sky. They were sending ripples through the membranes and barriers he'd installed.
"Ugh I wish Des and Ky were here now!" He muttered, trying to think of what to do.
"I suppose, but it gets boring being able to do everything. Gets hard to have a reason to do anything after a while." Atra shifted again, in anxious excitement.
