To the brits surprise he did not get stuck or loose another article of clothing. Noel looked back a the finished course and couldn't help but smile at his jacket still hanging in a tangled mess of wire.
Now just for the cliff, then the gators then the log. Great, just when you feel at ease more things get in your way.
Ah well, the brit had made it past the others flawlessly at least twice. Could he do it for a third time? The mod wasn't about to get his hopes up as he started again for the cliff. Up he went in a steady fashion. Gulp.

This time around the brit just BARELY made it to the top of the cliff. He could have sworn he set off an explosion. Lucky for him it was delayed. Noel also almost slipped and fell off to the mattresses below. Lucky for him he had evaded such a fate.
Now the gators... again... great. Only one thing to do. Close your eyes and hang on to life. Possibly also scream. Yeah, screaming was good too.
And thats what Noel did.

Em frowned, staring at the wire crawl. Chef seriously expected her to get through that? She with the grace and finesse of a dead wildebeest? Damn, this was going to suck.
She got down on her hands and knees and began her crawl.

Just before Noel was able to get to the other side a gator gabbed him by the tail. Surprisingly the gator didn't bite hard enough to break the brits skin. Though, Noel was screaming and flailing. He made a mad dash for the shore and just laid there for a good five minutes. Wet and tired and now he had to redo the third course. Great.
Finally, Noel got up and took his place infront of the vines. Was that determination in his eyes? Who knew, his glasses obscured his eyes mostly. Still there was a glint of something as Noel sent him self off to the other side vine tightly squeezed in his paws. Eyes stayed open this time.

And that determination payed off as the mod safely landed on the other side. He'd need to be more careful the next few rounds.... wait was he really going to go for all five rounds? He was so tired already. Could he do it?
Yeah probably. His team needed him.
Great the log. Noel really didn't want to mess this course up. It terrified him the most of all four. Steady now... Noel took his first few steps on the rotting log.

Noel smiled as he took the last step on to safe ground. Hey this wasn't so bad right?
Okay, so he was tired now. That cliff climbing really did a number on him. So the brit slumped under a tree and collected his knees close to his body. Probably a good idea to rest before attempting the course again.
Damn it, he was going for all five.

Helen really didn't know why she was doing this again, it's not like she had a perfect run the first time and was sure her luck would hold out. nope, Her tail was missing a chunk of fur and she had a small bruise from where the seagull had hit her. oh well, this first one hadn't been that bad in the past, so she got down on her stomach and got to work.
Making good time, as far as she could tell, Helen was sure this would go off without a hitch. But, someone decided she was being cocky and to take her down a peg. Her shirt got caught on one of the wires and no matter how hard she tugged it would not come free. "Guess I have to start again..." sghe grumbled.

Woohoo, another go with the friggin log obstacle... Jay muttered under her breath as she came back to face the log. Well, hopefully this go wouldn't be as bad.. Second times seemed to work for her. And, once again, Jay cautiously stepped onto the piece of rotting wood...
(edited after the roll) And, once again, Jay fell. Only this time it was quite quick: several seagulls pelting her simultaneously with a beaver's slap on her foot. She fell off with a missed swing at the beaver; damn animal!

Groaning at the brand new hole in her already dirt stained shirt, Helen cursed silently. This time she wouldn't be as cocky and hoped she would make it through. Getting on the ground for the third time that day, Helen started the pain staking process of making it through.
Even though she had pulled down her shirt and tucked it in as tightly as possible, Helen's shirt still managed to find a wire to make cozy with. "Oh come on!" She went to start the course. Again.

Having made it out of the wire crawl in one piece she continued on to the... the cliff climb?!
Heights?!
"GORRAMIT."
She straightened her back and tried to wipe some of the mud off her arms and trekked onwards to climb up the mountain.

By that time, Helen's shirt was starting to resemble swiss cheese that had been dyed green. Helen was getting frustrated, she could see failing on the later obstacles, those were hard. But snagging her shirt twice? That was just pathetic. Hoping that this time she would finally make it, Helen started off again.
Helen crawled forward, checking every so often the her shirt remained close to her body and not wrapped around a wire. Breathing a sigh of relief as she passed one green piece of fabric and then another and then finally the end. After finally beating this obstacle, Helen practically danced to the cliff of doom.

Having made it up the cliff she paused at the top, hunched over, to catch her breath. She did her best to not look over the edge but couldn't help but look to see just how far down the ground really was.
She swayed a little, feeling rather dizzy and stepped away from the edge and almost into... THE GATOR PITS.
"Oh, you little bitches are going SO far down," she growled, remembering the last challenge. She grabbed the rope and walked backwards as far as she could before running, starting her swing with a small jump and flailing her legs under her as she went along.

Helen gulped as she gazed up at the cliff. Even though she had, some how, scaled it without a problem last time, the first obstacle had showed her that things don't always get easier the more you do them. Jumping on to the cliff, Helen fought for hand helds, trying to remember what path she had taken last time.
Apparently she had traced her old path pretty well, or made a completely new one that worked fine, because after much sweating and pain, she finally pulled herself to the top, panting in exhaustion. But, she had to admit she was pretty proud of herself for making it up here without any problems.

Goddamnit! What the ******** was with this challenge?! Jay was getting really angry now: lips pursed and expression hard. The second she fell she got right back up, stomping towards and onto the log. If she fell this time... Ugh!..
((edited WAY after the roll)) And of course, she fell once again! This time she barely noticed the seagulls coming in her fit of rage. Well, if rage was the problem she was doomed now. She'd reached the boiling point, stomping back to face it the fourth time.
