"Leena," Kai said quietly, looking to her friend with only innocence in both her expression and tone. "I believe your advisors are discovering that they cannot speak, not Common anyway. It appears as though the only noises that come from their mouths are those of animals." she said, as though she had nothing to do with it. But she'd heard them plotting and had fairly effectively stopped it. And they'd been fired soon enough.

Leena looked up to Kai, blinking before she broke out into a chuckle. "Is that so? I should probably not keep them waiting any longer." She said softly as she pushed herself up, bowing her head to them all. "Please excuse me, there are matters of state that need tending to. If you need something, please ask Talia or Vadasz." She gave them all a warm smile, especially Gwen since she could imagine the girl felt bad about asking such a question, leaving the room to head to the council's chambers.
Vadasz flew off of her shoulder and changed into his human form, the shadows swirling about him as he did so that he would have clothes immediately, straightening up as Talia stepped out of the light, bowing to all of them.

Kai smiled, looking to Gwen before she left. "Relax, dear. He won't peck." she murmured teasingly, laughing when the elf stuck her tongue out. Kai went after Leena, Ri appearing and winding around her shoulders like a boa. "I'll be quiet unless you need me to speak. And would you like for them to be able to speak? Or I can remove all ability to speak, if you like." she offered, smirking faintly.
"She still knows everything doesn't she." Gwen murmured, glancing to Vadasz and not really needing an answer.

Dais listened silently to the conversation, thinking of how he could listen in on the conversation. Aldon answered the question for him when he randomly jumped after Kai.
Seriously, Aldon's movement was not surreptitious this time. Dais sighed. He wasn't going to stop Aldon. If he couldn't leave in person, then Aldon would be the best bet.
"Queen Leena," Dais called after the queen. Might as well ask. "I would like to listen to the meeting incognito." He had to hear it.

(( Gah, edit! ))
Leena smirked to Kai, "Alright. Yes, it would be best if they could speak. I want to see what they have to say for themselves." She spoke, pausing as she heard Dais call out to her. Turning, she tilted her head but nodded. "Alright, by all means." She answered, giving him a faint smile before she stepped into the chambers, noting how they all fell quite. Only two were looking at her with respect, and those were the two she would keep out of the rest of them.
"Councilmen, thank you for coming on such short notice. I have important news to speak on you all about." She took her spot, looking at them all before she continued. "It has come to my attention that most of you wish to remove me forcibly from my throne by treason." She grimaced as they all started speaking at once, her hand coming to rest on the table gently, and yet it was like a shock wave had been sent out that shut them all up. "Don't even bother trying to deny it! I don't want to hear it. All most of you have done is treat my late mother and I with disdain and loathing. So it does not surprise me that you would try to cause another rebellion so I'd be removed the throne as my father was!" She snapped, the room getting deathly quiet. Narrowing her eyes, she looked at each of them in the eye, getting only a little satisfaction at how they refused to return her gaze. "So, since all of you seem so keen on power. I am hereby disbanding the council. Only two shall remain as advisors to me, and I believe they know who they are."
Varion was amongst the first to stand amongst the uproar at that. "M'lady you can't do that!"
"Oh I can't, can I? Last time I checked, it was the Queen who had the last say on matters! Now tell me, are any of you speaking to Gannel?" She asked, her voice icy to the point where it made the room feel a bit cold.
(( By the way, if someone wants to control any councilmen, they can. It can get hard rping with ones self. xP ))

((Sorry!))
Dais nodded, glad he now had an excuse to act suspicious. He did not follow Kai and Leena in. Instead, he made for the ceiling and positioned himself above the council room, making sure he could see and hear the participants without being seen from below.
Leena sure went straight to the point. If any of the councilmen were actually from Gannel, they wouldn't say. So, he looked for familiar faces.

Kai had scooped up the ferret, holding Aldon gently in her arms. She followed Leena inside, standing beside but just back from her queen.
"Of course not. Why would we be doing tha-" A man started, before he grabbed at his throat, no sound coming out.
"If you stopped trying to lie you could speak." Kai said quietly, giving the glaring man a sweet smile. "But that's answer enough, I think." she murmured, reguarding the others calmly. Most of them were wary of her, due to her loose grip on sanity and her skill with magic.

(( Hehe, it's ok. We just seem to have the tendency of posting at the same time. xP Or I just take too long. >.< ))
Leena looked at the man that had fallen quiet, raising an eyebrow, her expression obviously dead serious. "Don't even try to leave. I've sealed off the room. Now, answer me."
"We'll never answer a lapsi -lta huora!" He snapped as he suddenly lashed out with a spell, with the intent to kill.
She blinked, a spirit darting up and taking the hit for her, swirling before regaining it's form. "Thanks. Do as you please with him." She murmured to it, noticing how it gained a rather frightning grin, advancing on the poor soul as another attempted to escape. "Jäädyttäminen!" She called, watching as he suddenly toppled over, caught in place like a statue. "WILL YOU ALL JUST SETTLE DOWN!" She roared, beginning to lose her temper. The room went still, since they really hadn't seen her angry before. "NOW, tell me, were you planning treason?!"
As much as he hated to, Kai's spell was strong, grimacing as he nodded. "Aye, it is." He spoke, grimacing at all of this.
She focused on him at this point, three more spirits coming up alongside her. "Good, finally progress. Now, have you spoken to Gannel?" She realized that they may not speak, narrowing her eyes. "Do I have to ask these kind spirits to wrench it out of you?" She asked, the room definitely growing a bit colder.
"Dammit all, yes! We were offered greater power and protection from the oncoming war if we managed to kill or remove you. Preferably kill you." Varion answered, glaring at her. He still hadn't given away who had.
"Of course. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. You'd sell your very souls and those of this country just to achieve your ends." She saw another start to open his mouth, the look in her eye making him not wish to speak. "Don't you DARE say that it was for the peoples protection. You know how our people are! We do not betray our own for some protection from the very enemy that would rob us of our freedom and lives! We would rather fight and die as we are than suffer that fate!" Her hands were clenched into fists, shaking a bit at how angry she was. "Dais, any luck?" She asked him, noticing how he kept looking at the faces of the councilmen, knowing he was probably checking for any recognition.
She glanced back to the three spirits around her, noticing how one seemed to be quaking. "Mikä on se?" It then pointed a finger towards one of the people that she didn't expect it to be pointing to; Walter. Raising an eyebrow she saw the ghostly hand lower as quickly as it had risen, her brows furrowing. "Hänelle. Aari te totta kai? Mikä jokseenkin hänelle?" The spirit was sure alright, humming a string of notes, the spirit seeming to gain a more corporial mouth so it could speak. But it's voice was still a whisper in her ear, stiffening as she looked over to him. "Saada takaisin sinun reaalinen asu!" She snapped, the spell whipping across the room to the only two sitting forms amongst the chaos.
Walter was glancing around the room from his chair, inwardly smirking at the results of this all. Perfect turmoil. He noticed out of the corner of his eye that the queen seemed up to something, blinking a bit. Though when she uttered the spell, he attempted to deflect it and well, failed. With a snarl he changed from the kindly councilman that Leena had known into a demon of Gannel, leaping across the room to attack her.
"Capture him!" She snapped, the three spirits launching forward, one drawing a particularly wicked sword. She drew two of her sword to be on the safe side, hearing the demon utter a word that sent her spirits into oblivion. That wasn't good. One sword she brought up to defend the blow that came down, stabbing forward to get his legs.

((Dais is actually above the room, but not anymore as of this post.))
Faces, no. But aura, yes. There was a familiar aura in the room, definitely one from Gannel. It was just a matter of narrowing down who it was.
Alas, just as he figured out who it was, Leena acted, as did the Gannellian. Apparently, the demon had decided to drop his guise since he was attacked. Smart, real smart, Dais thought sarcastically. Only makes it easier to recognize who you are.
The assassin quickly removed the tile from the ceiling and dropped down, landing on top of the demon, but having the unfortunate effect of sprawling the demon toward Leena. "Don't move," Dais stated as he whipped out his sword, seemingly from nowhere. A dagger would have worked better, but he didn't have any on him. Darts weren't exactly threatening up close either.
Aldon's vision gave him a better look at the demon, and Dais recognized the demon as a shifter and one that was older than Amaya, but not quite to the range of when Amaryllis died.

(( She knew he was there, somewhere? >.< ))
Leena jumped back as Dais landed on the demon, glad she had since he had sprawled. "Jäädyttäminen , aivan -lta te!" She directed the spell at the councilmen and the demon, glad to see them all frozen in place. Well, the shapeshifter was twitching a bit, but at least it seemed to have immobilized him for now. "Thanks Dais." She spoke, sheathing her swords.
Then her gaze fell on the council. "I can't believe all of you. You, who are supposed to be the wisest out of us to make such a decision to speak with them. I'm disappointed in all of you including myself for being as naive as to think you wouldn't do this and not being able to spot this imposter. Mal, you may remain. The rest of you are under arrest and are stripped of your post." She had calmed only a bit, snapping her fingers so guards appeared in the room, two to each councilmen. And each received a collar that was placed around their neck to prevent them from using their magic. She pulled one out of the air and snapped it around the demons throat, mindful to move around Dais' sword. At that the demon snarled, glaring at her with such withering hate. "Do you know him Dais?" She asked in a softer voice, exhaling slowly since it was exhausting to have to focus so much power to control beings of higher or equal power to her. After this, the demon would go down to the dungeons to be interrogated for any info he might give away.
The demon didn't move since life was better than death and he knew the queen would just call his spirit to her and get info that way. Spirits couldn't lie after all. "I ain't saying nothing." He muttered, getting a jolt as he tried to shift into a different form. Damn that witch!

Kai reguarded it all calmly, though when the demon insisted on fighting she crouched down in front of it, tilting her head much like a bird. "Would you rather come as a spirit, or stop fighting and be a good boy? Leena's rules don't bind me, if something were to happen to you she couldn't trace it to me and even if she could I wouldn't have to answer to her." she said softly, eyes promising she wouldn't hesitate, and that she was thoroughly enjoying this and looking forward to getting to play with the spells she usually couldn't use.

((That works.))
Dais cleared his throat as Walter attempted to shift again. He inched the sword closer to Walter's neck, drawing a little blood. "Yes, I recognize this one."
If memory served him correct, Walter was one of the higher underlings serving under Altarion's political advisers, meaning that Walter would know of his name. I should have used a cover name... Of course, it wouldn't be a problem if Walter accidentally died later without transmitting any information back to Altarion. However, he must have a partner somewhere in the town. And there was also the issue of Altarion getting to the other councilmen.
Dais got off Walter, but maintained the sword at the demon's neck, when Kai went to the demon.

Leena listened as Kai spoke, noticing how even the demon seemed to hesitate at that. She smirked, she was speaking the truth. "Anything I should know before locking him up?" She asked with a small tilt of her head, her eyes resting on Dais. Though she did pause and glance down to the demon. "I can tell you that you will die and there won't even be a spirit left to speak. Kai, if you want to, you can do what you like. Just make sure to get info out of him first. Dais, the same goes for you." She spoke, looking up as Mal came over. They exchanged a few softly spoken words and then he left, leaving the four of them alone.
(( erm, I'm going to leave it up to you two on that since honestly my mind is failing on that front. ))

((Ok, we'll just be random, won't we, thy?))
Dais nodded to Leena before she left, hinting that he would tell Kai...since it sounded like it was better for Leena to not be at the interrogation. The assassin wondered how long Walter had been "Walter." The real Walter must have been replaced for some time.
The demon looked thoughtful for a moment in his hesitation. Obviously, he didn't know what Kai was fully capable of. However, Leena's magic collar didn't necessarily fully restrict him either. The Dais character's name sounded familiar, but he didn't recognize the man. IF - and really, he thought it was an "IF"- he was going to die, he had to contact Gannel somehow.

Knowing they were both capable, Leena wanted to be sure Amaya and Gwen were alright as well, smirking to both of them before she took her leave. "Have fun you two." She called before walking out, pulling a handkerchief from the sleeve of her kimono, dabbing away the sweat. Oi... Hot springs sounds like such a good idea right now... But was there time for such relaxation? Most likely not.
She returned to Amaya and Gwen with a fresh kimono on, or perhaps it was just a yukata. It was white with some soft violet flowers sewn into it, a red obi around her middle. "Forgive me for the wait." She noticed how Vadasz and Talia were both missing, frowning at that fact. I know Talia's probably spreading the word through the street that the councils gone. The resistance needs to know. As for Vadasz, I bet... "He probably ran off for food, didn't he?" She asked with a sigh, sitting down closer to them.
