"At first there was nothing but blank whiteness devoid of anything. Then as if from nowhere an eruption of energy created seven beings. First came Desdion, second came Raven, third came Vera, Fourth came Malgeor, fifth came Azeois, sixth came Sophia, and seventh came Kain and they were the Seven. Greatest of all beings and it was their self proclaimed duty to create a realm in which they may reside. Desdion being the god of light created the suns and Malgeor being the god of darkness made shadows and the blackness of the night sky which is called space. Raven was in charge of giving this realm gravity and as such allowed the suns to be at the center of what was to be called galaxies." Strider summoned an apple and made it fly around his hand. "Then Sophia made the planets and plants for this she was the god of. Next Vera came in and gave these planets water and blue skies. With all of that done Azeois came and spread the energy to keep all of these things from falling apart ,more commonly known as magic, across their realm. Lastly Kain came and spread his power across the realm and with the help of each of the gods created races of beings and using Kains power gave them life. Your people's creator was Raven. Now why are these gods relevant to what I was talking about? Well I was the god known as Azeois, God of Magic and I am the last of my kin. I am the last of the Seven." Strider stared at the fire with the same lost expression and lonelyness krept upon him. He snapped to his senses and looked at Keri. "That is also the reason why Mikalriss searches for me. He knows who I am and he fears me. This is why he hunts me. Now do you understand?"

Keri was shocked to hear all that Strider had recounted. She nodded numbly, then dipped her head in a deep bow of respect. "Yes, I do. You have told me so much that I do not know what part I am to play in all of this." She frowned a little, contemplating. "If it is as you say, than everyone on this surface world will be affected somehow."

Strider caught the apple and bit into it. "Not just the surface my dear. The underworld as well. A battle is brewing and I need your help. I need friends and no one on the surface will help me. To busy with their own problems. This is why i need you to help me find people I can trust underground. This includes you. I see many things, like that your brother is searching for you right now, I can see that war shall come to your people, and i also see how this planet shall end. I can see many things young one but what i can't see is you. I have never before seen you in my visions. I have seen your brother, i have seen your ancestors, but not once have I seen you. So you can believe how curious I was when I have a vision of you just before I came into town. So what'da say? Will you help me?"

Keri frowned and thought deeply before replying. The part about her brother searching for her was unsettling. "I believe so. Though I do not think I will be a much help to begin with. I'll do my best."
Where to start looking for him? In truth, Gygax knew that to find his sister, it would be a helpful thing to find Mikalriss first. But where would he be? That was the problem. Keri may have acquired allies to defend her, meaning he'd need some like that as well. He scoffed aloud and stopped by a tree, rubbing at an eye.

"Excelent. In time you shall find that you have something you did not think you did. In any case if you wish there is a deeper part of the cave that I think you would find perfect for you. So if you wish you may sleep there." Strider stroked the fire and added another stick.
"Gygax." A voice whispered as if from nowhere.

"I hope," Keri smiled happily at Strider, touched at his kindness. She wrapped her arms around her knees, looking up at the dark sky from underneath the hood she wore. "Thank you. For the concern, as well. You are one of the first people above ground that has actually been nice to me, besides the elves. But, I like to watch the stars."
Gygax stiffened immediately, his muscles tensing up. The three indigo earrings in both of his pointed ears swung gently at the slight reaction. His red eyes darted quickly from side to side, searching for the one who'd spoken. The powerful shields invisibly guarding him should have been set off, but they hadn't. "And who is the one who speaks my name?" He called out suspiciously, using the drow language.
