"I'm thinking of getting a deer. They'll be of decent size now that spring has arrived, and I need that change of tasted from the rabbits and dried meat that we have had all winter." He said to Miluiel as the came up to the village and were in sight of the their home.
Shinn nodded and barked happily. "Yeah! Its a lot more fun that way!" He agreed heartily.

Nodding Miluiel agreed. She had not been fond of meat only three short years ago, but ever since she had asked Azrael to change her into her current state she began to crave it and for today deer sounded wonderful.
"I'll race you home!" Shera barked as she leaped out ahead of Shinn and began to run toward the village.

Shinn laughed and broke into a run after Shera, his longer legs letting him take long strides and catching quickly, but there was no denying that Shera was fast. It would be fun.
Azrael chuckled and followed at a trot. "Well, they know the way home." He commented happily.

Shera ran as fast as her legs could carry her. In comparison to her brother her body was small, her legs were small. She loped as quickly as she could towards the village hopeful that this time she could beat Shinn.
Miluiel nodded as she adjusted her gait to keep her even with Azrael. Compared to the children they both could move farther because of their large size. "That they do, it is reassuring." Miluiel said with a smile.

"They are such good children. I am so glad that I have you to enjoy them with." Azrael said giving Miluiel a nuzzle.
Shinn giggled happily as they bound out toward the house. Despite other feelings he had felt, Shinn was very happy to have a little sister to play with.

"I would rather be no where other than here with you." The female said to her mate. The sun was now above them and it lit the world around them so beautifully. Flowers had woken up. The world was becoming more green, life filled the forest once again. This place was more than a safe haven for her family, but it was a lush and beautiful heaven to her. She never felt more blissful than she did here with her beautiful family.
Shera kept her body low to the ground as she ran, and her head bowed low so that low bushes and branches slapped the young pup in the face. This was rather painful, but she was trying to make herself faster as her muscles rippled due to her quick movements.

Shinn bounded to keep speed, but as he ran he slipped on one of the many patches of snow that still lay on the ground, especially by the large trees. He regained himself quickly and continued to run toward the house.
"You two be careful!" Azrael called out to his children as they bounded through the woods to their home. He chuckled and then grabbed a small branch in his jaws, it had fallen during the winter at some point. But it was an evergreen branch and Mazzia could use it for her remedies. "Such wonderful cubs." He said through the branch clenched in his mouth.

Shera watched Shinn slip and she slowed slightly to make sure her brother was alright. Once he was back on his feet she also gained speed and began to run, her legs beating like a quick beat of a drum. Never did one step falter. She was determined to keep running until she ran into the village. Past tents and out into the middle of the little camp Shera finally began to activate the breaks to slow herself down.
Miluiel stiffened when Shinn faltered, she saw Shera slow also. She continued along once Shinn righted himself. "That was scary." She said softly. "They are wonderful, but each has that innocence of youth and they forget the dangers of the world around them." She sighed, "They must learn the dangers of life before something happens to them."

Azrael sighed. "Yes. That is very true my love. As much as I wish we could keep them young... Shinn's rite of passage will be coming soon enough. Only a few more years." He said softly.
Shinn started to catch up as he got ot the village, there were fewer trees in the village clearing, so it was easier to pick up speed. Plus there were fewer patches of snow.

Miluiel watched the ground she walked upon. Her eyes searched the ground as if she was looking for something when really she wasn't. "So what will happen after that point?" Miluiel asked. Her little boy was growing up. She was still learning every day.
Shera hit a slick spot of mud. Almost immediately she began to skid. Shera found she could not stop, nor could she control where she was going. She kept on going until she fell into a tent. The loud rip of cloth could be heard as it wrapped around the pup's body entangling her. She yelped loudly as she struggled fiercely to get out of the cloth.

Shinn saw his sister crash into the tent, and barked, turning so that he could help her. He arrived quickly and saw Shera struggling to get free of the cloth. Using his jaws, he began to tear off pieces of cloth to help get her free.
The angry head of an angry adult female popped out of the hole in the tent. "Now what is the meaning of this!?" Demanded the female werewolf in a growl. The growl disappeared in surprise. "Shinn! Shera! What were you doing?" Inquired the big female. The wolf shared the same coloring as Azrael, the only things to tell the two apart was their gender and their size, though this wolf was one of the larger members of the tribe.
"Auntie Shana! Shera slipped and got stuck in the cloth!" Shinn said as he started to tear more cloth.
Shana gave Shinn a small but stern bop on the snout. "Don't do that! You'll only do more damage. There's an easier way to do it. Sit still and watch." She said sternly to Shinn. Starting to unwrap Shera from the cloth. "Calm down, Shera! I'm helping you get out." She told her.
Azrael sighed. "At that point, if he passes, he will be considered an adult in the eyes of the tribe." He said to Miluiel, sadly. He was about to add something else when he heard the commotion. Sighing and shaking his head, he began to toward the tent. "Lets go see what trouble they've gotten themselves into."

Shera, who had been thrashing and turning in a desperate attempt to get free relaxed when the stern female voice barked at her. She stopped struggling and expect for the quick intake of breath she was silent, save for her chest moving quickly up and down she was still. "I'm not going to die in here Auntie Shana am I?" She asked with a slight moan in her voice.
Miluiel knew this was a big thing, to become an adult in the pack meant that her little boy would have to take on certain jobs to keep the pack functioning. She heard ripped cloth and a loud crying sound. Her mind filled with panic and she was quickly following right behind Azrael. She prayed it was not something too bad.

Shana sighed but could help but chuckle. "Of course you aren't going to die. Your just tangled up, you silly little cublett." Shana chided her. The pup was in no danger, but the overreacting did not help with the untangling. "I'm going to pick you up, so please try not to squirm too much, little Shera." She told her. She gently unwound the torn cloth, until eventually she had gotten the offending cloth off of Shera. "Now was that so bad?" Shana asked her.
Azrael came to where his sister's tent was and found Shana unwrapping Shera from a piece of cloth torn from the tent. "So that's where you were. I told you two to be careful." Azrael said to them, shaking his head.

Shera had her eyes closed tightly as if she was afraid to watch as the cloth was unwound from around her. Once free she rubbed tightly against her aunt and thanked her many times, she also apologized for running so carelessly into her tent. "I was so scared though Aunty Shana!" Shera cried looking up at her aunt. "Thank you for helping me!"
Miluiel hurried along behind. She released a sigh of relief that her little ones had not been hurt to any greater extent. "Shana," She said softly, "I am so sorry, they will help get it back together today." Miluiel figures she would be helping also. She was so embarrassed. "I hope they didn't scare you too badly." Miluiel said with a slight bow of her head.

"They didn't really, but I was trying to sleep." Shana said suppressing a yawn. "As you know, I do patrol during the night so I do sleep during the day." She looked down at her niece and nephew. "It's alright little ones, you are safe and I am not upset but you two will be getting an important lesson in repairing tents. But what is important is that you two are alright. Now, go on. I assume that you will be having your lessons with Mazzia and Veral." She said to the two cubs.
Shinn nodded and wrapped a paw around Shera. "Yes, Auntie Shana." Shinn turned to his sister. "Let's get goin' Shera." He said standing back up.
Azrael sighed with relief. "I am happy that you two are not hurt. I would not want to send you to the spirit lounge for injuries. But you two need to be more careful. You cannot run carelessly everywhere. After lessons you are coming back here to help fix your aunt's tent. You need to learn that if you break something you must fix it." He said to both of them sternly. He looked toward his sister and sighed. "I am sorry, Shana. Its too early to scour for materials, but we will find the time to get materials so you can have a hut of your own. If you'd rather, you could move in with us..." He inquired.
Shana shook her head. "No, brother. I don't mind the tent, and you have a family that needs the space in your home. I can wait." She told her brother gently. "Now go on, we'll be taking care of it later."
