He got up and held up a fingure to her as he walked away to get the meals. On his way backhe had oneplate ballanced on his head, one on his head and two drinks, one in each hand. He bent down so she could take her steak while his tail sat his on the table and he placed the drinks down as well. "Hope you don't mind cola."

Kaida smiled in amusementas Lukan brought their food to the table; she had no doubt he was showing off. As he placed the food infront of her Kaida took a deep breath and let the aroma fill her nostrils and smiled comforted. It was really weird..it was almost the exact same as the food from home...but...her mom had a secret recipe..
Once Lukan sat down Kaida continued their conversation, her voice soft and sad almost. "well..to tell you the truth...my parents sent me here because I was different. My family is a high status family, especially where I live. If anyone in that city found out that I had these sort of abilities..well..."Kaida sighed, not wanting to finish the sentence. She didn't know what would happen to her family. "However, I have to admit I was more than willing to leave. I never really liked it there anyway."

"Oh no please..I told you my reasons. Tell me yours..please?" Her eyes grew big and round as if pleading like a small child. Kaida couldn't hold it in any longer; finally she bursted out laughing. Kaida tried to stop, but it was just too much for her. She was acting like such an idiot, it made her laugh. There was no doubt anymore..Kaida had a thing for Lukan.

His tail twiched in his lap as he watched her laugh. He stuck his tongue outat her and sighd. "Alright, my parents brought me here sense we lived in a small town. The townsfolk always usedto herass me by blaming problems on me even if I wasn't around at the time. They also wanted me to get better at my alchemy. So the fially sent mehere. I'm glad too, but I do miss my parents." He said sighing frowning a bit thinkin of his parents.

Kaida stopped after noticing the sadness of thinking about his parents and felt immensely guilty. "Oh Lukan...I'm sorry..I didn't mean to.." Kaida tried to comfort him, but to no avail. She cut a peice of steak and shoved it in her mouth furious with herself for bringing up such a subject. Kaida began fiddling with a small peice of hair akwardly, her eyes casted down. "Those people are just losers..it happened to Alyssa and her family a lot. Whenever someone died they believed she or her mother killed them. The villagers murdered Alyssa's father one day...then...she stopped talking to me.." Kaida said more to herself than to Lukan. She began remembering the way Alyssa was and how she is now. It was like Alyssa wasn't Alyssa anymore...Kaida didn't know her any longer.

You shouldn't hold a grudge over one thing somone did you." He said plcing one of his hand on hersgenty blushing then pulling away taking anouther bite of his meal.

Out of reflex she too pulled back; not sure of what to do at this point. Kaida had never been in a situation like this and she was nervous. It did make Kaida feel better when Lukan blushed. She then knew he hasn't been with anyone else either. She took another small peice of meat and chewed on it polietely before she responded to him; her face still hot with embarassment. "Yes..I suppose you are right. I wish I could let go of things just as easily as you Lukan. Nothing seems to bother you."

Kaida took a small sip of her Coke also; an akward silence following that statement. "Actually...I grew up on the outskirts of a large town; my father worked within its walls...I rarely ever saw him. I may have been in a nice upper class lifestyle. Once Alyssa stopped all communication with me I lost everything.." Kaida said, remembering those long hours stuck in her room with nothing to do; no one to talk to. "Where did you grow up exactly?"

Kaida smiled at the thought of a quiet, rural town. It sounded better than her home; anything was better than her home. "That sounds nice..I would like to live somewhere like that.." Kaida chimed sweetly, finishing her Coke and steak with a few more bites. "That was very delicous!" Kaida giggled, placing a hand on his intentionally. Her violet eyes gazed into his for a moment of two before she pulled away; her face a bright pink. "Thank you...Lukan.."

Lukan rubbed the back of his head shyly with one of his eyes closed looking at her with a grin. "Nah. Don't worry about it. Just as long as you're feeling better." He said taking their plates to the cleaning machine and back to the table. "So... You feel like going anywhere else, or do you have something planed?" He asked hoping she wasn't busy.

Kaida shook her head bluntly, startled by the question. She had no actual friends here except Lukan and Alyssa, so why would she have anything to do. She smiled softly and bit her lip; chewing on it some. "I don't really have anything planned..why do you ask..?

"W-well... I was woundering if you might want to go out somewhere." He asked blushing looking down at the ground with his hands tucked in his pockets. HIs tail was wraped around his waist and ears drawn back with embarrasment. 'Why would she yes to me anyways?' He though to himself, he felt kind of sick now sense he was asking her right after they ate.
