She climbed off and stared at him a long moment, in awe. then she recalled what he said and shook her head in firm negation. "I've had it with two legger males."

I am sorry for that. Mayhaps one day that will change. He looked a little sad, turning his head away from her and changing back into a wolf.

She gave him an odd look until a yawn over took her. she smiled sheepishly then climbed the trellis. "See you tomorrow night, then?"

"Kay," she said though another yawn. she slipped into the room, lowered the music and crashed.
The next night she wouldn't be in the woods. Her room would be quiet and dark, her scent stale enough to tell him she hadn't been near the house since that morning. The lower floor lights are on, the old woman is talking on the phone, that is all.

The woman walked about as she spoke, her voice clear and crisp. "Serves her right," she was saying. "Always said she was trouble. Well let them keep her, the city can pay for her." the person on the other end spoke softly, she sighed. "I don't mean to sound so cold, but Joyice listen, no loud music, no angry teen aged angst. Quiet. Sweet sweet quiet. I never asked to take that girl in, I'm far too old to be a m other now. I hate children. Look, she'll probably be back in a few nights, I mean, how long can they really keep her in juvie? let me enjoy it while I can...."

Eric growled again, shifting as he strode toward the woods, launching himself into the air in mid step. He would be stopping at her holding facility shortly. The wolf was replaced with a handsome man, with long hair tied back in a pony tail. An immaculate suit showed his chiseled frame. Power clung to him easily, exuding from him in large waves. Eric smiled coldly at the guard, "I am here to see the head of this facility."

It was a small town facility, and the cells were just barely out of sight of the door, enough for him to catch glimpses of her as she paced.
The security guard looked him up and down. "Ah... right. That would be the chief of police, I guess."

"I shall be sure to inform your chief of your loyalty... Eric crossed the street, suppressing an urge to strangle the guard. When he entered the building, an officer approached him.
I'm sorry sir, but you can't just go into the police chief's office without an appointment."
"I do not need an appointment. You will tell him that Eric Von Strassun is here about donating for re-election campaign."
"Yes-s sir. Right away."
The police chief entered, smiling and shaking Eric's hand as he entered the office. "Mr. Von Strassun, it is a pleasure to see you this evening. What can I do for you?"
"Good evening. I'm afraid I'm here to find out about someone in your care. She goes by the name of Skunk."
"Ah...I had hoped this had been for more of a social call...What would you like to know?"
"I would like to get her out."
"I"m afraid that's not possible. She has a trial in a week and her charges are somewhat serious. Concealed carrying and shoplifting. I can't erase those..."
"I understand. I will post bail for the girl. Do you know the judge that will be taking her trial?"
"Not yet, sir."
"I'd like to know as soon as you know."
"Of course Mr. Von Strassun. But why are you interested in this girl?"
"I cannot disclose my reasons for needing to get this girl out. All that I can say is that I have always tried to help those in need." He sent a mental push to the man for him to drop the matter and to go get Skunk.
"Sorry sir. I shouldn't question the powers that be. Especially those who have very generous to the department in the past."
The chief sent a guard to go get Skunk. "Come on. Your bail's been posted," He grunted as he unlocked the door.
