Willow's eyes widened until the whites were clearly visable and the hair on the back of her neck rose as a chill swept down her spine, but as quickly as he show of fear and shock appeared it was swept away by a carefully constructed mask of calm and coldness. 'Lock yourself up and away from this, be obejective, don't be surprised, act like someone would in one of your books.' She told herself, and then she took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a second before opening them. "So the strange feelings I've had all night and the way you slipped up earlier speaking..." She said, her tone one of someone simply stating facts. "You're a vampire, and I assume that the other people here are as well?" She asked him, but she hadn't realized she asked that until it left her mouth, and then her stomach felt kind of sick in the pit of it from the shock. She'd always wanted it to be real, but... Has she ever really expected it to be?

Zane gulped as she spoke. he figured he had spoke to literal for it to be considered a joke and now she knew of him.
"I am, and yes i had trouble hiding it" he said it in a low tone, his gaze falling back to her. "as for the others i cant tell you that." that little bit of sarcasm made him smile slightly, but it soon vanished.
"but think first before you decide to go off your rocker." he paused and tried to make his expression more calm instead of worried. "if i was going to hurt you, dont you think i would of by now?" Zane wasnt sure how she would take this. He didnt mean it as a threat but as a simple truth.
"I assure you, your in no danger around me, after all im the most laid back of our kind. Mainly because i remember being human." he spoke the last part of his sentence softly, almost in a whisper.
at this point he leaned forward towards her and placed his hands on the table, doing this he would be able to gauge how she was feeling. At least thats what he assumed.
"So how do you feel? Betrayed of trust, scared, interested, happy?" his question seemed a bit childish but he was in fact curious of how she was handling the present situation

Willow smiled slightly, but it didn't reach her eyes. "That's what I was thinking, that's why I didn't freak out... If you were going to hurt me you would've done it by now..." She laughed slightly, but it sounded forced and a bit watery, like she was trying not to cry. Was he really telling the truth? But she knew he wasn't lying, he wasn't offering to prove it, and she knew from experience that people like that were always the honest ones. She took a long breath and chewed on her bottom lip, a habit that she had ridded herself of two years ago. "Honestly, I have no idea how I feel... Why don't you tell me?" She asked him, trying to smile and laugh again but knowing it came off looking slightly afraid and forced. Was she feeling betrayed? Not really, she didn't know him that well, and she understood needing to hide things... Scared, hell yes, one would have to be an idiot not to be afraid when you first meet a vampire! Interested... that was a given, she was curious to a fault. Happy? She had no clue..

Gitano shook her head sadly. "I don't mean the cover-ups...History books can explain what had happened, but there is nothing like actually being there." She tipped her chair back and started to rock it with her toes. "Though I suppose sometimes that can be a good thing..."

"that doesnt make them taste any less enjoyable. See the thing is Theyre intelligent, but theyre not as intelligent as we are, and they may understand much more than animals, but a whale understands more than a crill, and it eats them just the same. So in respect t you as my host i havent done anything that would anger you, but i... you know what never mind."
Nich eyes had flashed sideways at the last words he spoke, and his head turned downin a sombre attitude. This was only for a second before he grinned back at her.

"Ah. Well it was a very bloody war. It is probably best that we don't know it all." Anya nodded. "There must be so many soldiers still roaming the battlefields where they died so mercilessly. I've always wanted to go to Gettysburg. Try to help them somehow." She sighed. "It must have been hard living in that time."

Gitano nodded. "Not just Gettysburg, but the other battlefields would all have lingering spirits I suppose." She continued rocking on the back legs of the chair. "Anything else you want to ask about?"

Krazy Michelle Ranak Noltic Nich smiled at Izzy and placed a hand on her shoulder tenderly. "Relaz.... you don't need to stress out about things, after more than half a millenia ive come to realize that Stress is pointless... of course it doesnt reallyr take that long. You really need to enjoy yourself more, even if in dire situations. Also, im pretty sure du to the blatant way she stated it that anastasia is already aware of us, and even if this one isnt, he's been here for a few hours, and nothing has happened, it would be illogical to be afraid now. " He broke his grip with her and stepped back with a slight flourish. With a large grin he said only... "and beating around the bush might as well be playing with your food." He tried to put warmth in his ludtful eyes, He had forgotten momentarily about his hunger... this one had distracted him quite abit.

Izzy rolled her eyes at Nich. She was being slightly childish, but that was Izzy. She walked over to the balcony and looked down at the people. Humans and vampires in the same place, who would have thunk it... "I'm not sure whats with dinner. Hopefully it will be out soon..." Izzy had tried to ignore the voice in her head but now it spoke loudly. 'Oh come on Izzy. I want something NOW!' Izzy just sighed.

Nich smiled as he put an arm around the small humman. he tapped his shoulder chuckling a bit.
"Food is all retrospective, as is hunger... your body deosnt NEED food, it just wants food. You should learn to tell the difference one day, it may save a life."
He chuckled at the ambiguosity. his ear pricked up though when Izzy's breath caught, and he knew what was happening to her. It was common among most young vampires. He shot her a concerned look before he could reign in his thoughts.

Izzy didn't see his look but she sure could feel his eyes staring at her. "Yes?" Izzy just stared out over the garden. She had helped Mrs. Redwood place every flower in the right spot. Izzy loved to think of the garden as 'her garden', though everyone was welcome to it. Of course now that Mrs. Redwood was gone...Izzy felt more alone than ever...

Gitano heard Anya's stomach growl. She looked over at the kitchen, wondering why the food was taking forever. She looked back at Anya and smiled, "I'll see if I can find some appetizers to hold you over." She got up and went to the kitchen. She found some cheese, crackers, chips, and salsa. She the chips and salsa in separate bowls and the crackers and cheese on a platter. She walked out with the platter and salsa bowl balanced in one hand and the chip bowl in the other. Setting them down on the long buffet table she hurried back and got out small plates and napkins. Retuning she said, "Sorry for the wait. I hope this will hold you over till dinner's ready."

Dimtri had gotten tired of waiting and had grabbed his guitar and was sitting under a tree in the garden. He had his headphones on and was playing along to Priestess's 'Lay Down'. He lip synced to the lyrics and bobbed his head as be played.
