"Do not worry about me dearest Adelle," Cooro said pulling our a like coat, he hurriedly put it on, not as much for himself, but so he could get Adelle to his home. "Come my dearest sweet." he said wrapping his arm round her as he pulled a hat over his head. "Do you recall where my home is?" Cooro asked her, as he waved goodbye to the secretary. He held her close and whispered in her ear, "Once we get to those buildings we may run, but run fast, if you like. Please tell me your preference." He said grinning.

Eve fell into a sprint, dodging open areas of light. Soon she arrived at her home; just as any other vampire in Laytham, she simply fell into the crowd. She ignored fumbling with the door and entered through an unlocked window. Her apartment was plain, the air open and cool. A piano sat in one corner; it's ivory keys so frequently used. Eve fell quietly into a chair, the dark room soothing to her eyes.
"I vaguely remember this city as it is. I don't mind running, but I will have to follow suit." Adelle said, leaning on Cooro closely. The coat offered protection, but as a young immortal, the sun beat down on her heavily.

"Okay then, I won't!" He said flashing one of his bright smiles. He sniffed at the eggs Mara was cooking. "Smells good!" He said. "I don't want you to feel left out though."

Ollie trudged lazily on the sidewalk, yawning loudly. She stretches her arms over her head. Her loose white top, rising a little. "I guess if I'm going to be more social at night I should ask Warren if I can come in later." she says aloud her hand on the knob to the bookstore. Still, the thought of having a night like last night made her smile. Especially at the thought of how her night ended with... she bit her lip. Why am I so dumb? I should've got his name!, she thinks remembering his handsome face. He walked me home, I had plenty of time. But, you never know! Maybe I'll run into him again. With this she happily walks through into the store. Like always Warren sat at the counter. He smiles at her and gives a small wave. "Good morning." "Morning!" She says brightly. "You seem a little uppity," he states, "Good night out then, eh? What's his name?" Warren asks and laughs at her reaction. A blush smeared across her cheeks. "Eh? W-Who?" she turns away from him. He laughs more. "Bring him by some time. I wanna make sure he's a gentleman." he once again laughs at her expression.

Cooro took her hand, the long cuff links of his shirt covered his hand. He checked to make sure that her hand was completely covered. "Close your eyes, it will burn less, just follow me, I know that you can." He told her as he prepared to run. "Would you prefer for me to carry you?" He asked her, "That way it may go a little faster, I can't make any promises."
Mara turned to face him, winking as she took the pan with her as she walked over to the table and lay the pan down on a hot pad. She gave him a plate, and silverware. She returned to the fridge and pulled out a blue water bottle. The plastic it was made out of was thick, so the contents could not be seen. "No worries, I have my own breakfast." she said as she set the bottle on the table. "Would you like something to drink, we have milk?"

"I should be fine." Adelle attempted a smile, while closing her eyes tight. She started a light sprint, hoping Cooro would pick up and lead.
Somni unbuttoned his shirt, sliding on a dark turtle neck. He had decided; despite how he thought Ollie felt, he had to see the charming girl again. Her house was not but a few blocks from his own, making the walk short and convenient.
Somni left his apartment, and ran down the stairs exuberantly. There was a bounce to his walk, the joy obvious. Seeing Laytham during daylight hours was not an unusual event for him, as his species was immune to harm from the sun. He moved past a flurry of cars and impatient employees. Let them have their dull lives. He approached the small house, so oddly situated between the towering buildings. On the porch, Somni almost hesitated; the idea of Ollie's rejection bringing a nervousness. He bit his lip and looked off for a moment, before knocking briefly. He stood with the uneasiness of a young boy, awaiting punishment.

Cooro smiled at her as he began to run ahead of her. "Now keep up my dear." he told her gently as he ran to his home where he quickly opened the door. He froze for an instant before entering. "Are you well fed my dear Adelle?" He asked smiling a human scent. He smelled Mara's as well, sensing her in the kitchen.

Zack smiled. "Sure, if your offering." He said. "It does smell really good, I think it'll taste pretty good!" He said enthusiastically to her. Zack felt a prickle in his blood when a strong presence in his blood. "Uh.... I think your father got here..." He said, unsurely and perhaps a bit nervous, not wanting to have been sensing the wrong person.

Adelle leaned against a near wall in relief."I am certainly well fed, Cooro. Thank you for all of the consideration." she smiled. The house was dark and welcoming; the sounds of others could be heard near by. "Just how many live here?"

Cooro smiled at her, "Just Mara and myself, but it appears she has a guest with her today. He smells human, so be on your guard my dear." He told her gently as he walked toward the kitchen.
Mara nodded. "Here you are," she said offering him a glass of milk, "it's up to date, so no worries." Mara came aroudn the kitchen table and hugged Cooro as he entered the kitchen. "Yes, that is my father coming in the kitchen."
"What is going on?" Cooro asked kindly as he smiled at Zack. "Is this a friend of yours?"

Zack stood up when Cooro came in, and bowed to him respectfully. He must be a fairly old and strong vampire, if it caused the prickle in his blood. Lucius always told him to be very respectful to older vampires.. "Uh.... Yessir! My name is Zack." He said.

Cooro watched the boy with interest. "Zack, that is a nice name." The vampire said as he looked him over. "You always fine the most interesting people as your friends Mara." Cooro said with a chuckle.
Mara laughed, "He's a very good friend Cooro, so be nice." she said punching his shoulder playfully. "That is a compliment by the way Zack!"

"Oh, Thank you sir!" He said with a bright smile. "Mara has told me many good things about you." He said. "You have a very nice home." He said, to make a conversation.

Cooro grinned, "Thank you Zack." He said smiling at the boy. "This one is considerably more polite than your last one as well my child." Cooro said as he wrapped an arm around Mara.
"Oh Cooro stop it!" she said growling playfully. "I don't find many people, I have found vampires before, but the last vampire was very cruel." Mara said softly, her voice filled with bitterness.

"My teacher... well he is more like a brother to me. He brought me up to be very polite." He said, not wanting to step into a touchy scene. He smiled politely, he didn't think twice about what Mara had said, having remembered what Lucius said about immortals and relationships.
