Kana groans when she sees and hears the newcomer. Oh, god. Not another vampire.
Kuronue chuckled weakly from the place in her lap. "Now, whatever happened to the Kana I used to know?"
Kana gasped at the voice and looked down at him, tears of happiness streaming down face. "Father! You're alive!" She hugged him tightly, not wanting to ever let go of him.

Kana heard Aklaysha say this from outside. "I'll say."
Kuronue slowly got up from his spot in Kana's lap, stretching his wings a bit. "Calm down, Kana. She's gone now, so we don't have to deal with her anymore."
Kana shook her head before looking up at him. "By the way, where's mother?"
Kuronue froze in shock and fear. "I thought he was with you..."
Kana's eyes widened at this new information, covering her gapping mouth. "Oh, no..."

Kuronue heard him say 'she' and started to chuckle a bit. "Although... You're getting the pronoun wrong."
Kana nods while a sweatdrop runs down her head. " sweatdrop Yeeeaaah... Umm... My mother is actually a man... I just call him mother because he... You know... Gave birth to me..."
"And before you even ask how that's possible, I'll explain. He's a youko, a rare type of fox demon who's species is... No, was dying out. But, they soon gained a mutation where they could breed with either a male OR a female, meaning that if they mate with a male, the one on bottom, mainly the youko, can breed. *points to kana* Here, we have a good example of such a case."
