Shannon hung her head. "Yes Mistress Mia! I am yours!" She laughed and peered at Mia. "Hiking?" She frowned slightly. "Okay. If thats what you'd like."

"I miss hiking" she smiled softly "I miss mountains... so lead the way" she wrinkled her noes a little and laughed softly

Shannon nodded and walked out of the school towards the forest. She found a little path then veered off it suddenly heading into a fair bit of overgrowth. She laughed and peered back at Mia to make sure she hadn't tripped or anything. "Please try not to cut yourself... I cant hold myself well if I can see the blood."

Shannon smiled softly of her shoulder. "Well thats good! You're going to love this!" She bounded further up the steep hill and scaled over some rocks and stopped at the mouth when the trees finally disappeared revealing a small lake with a waterfall falling into it and a stream running out.

Shannon smiled widely and sighed. "Beautiful isn't it?" She sat on a rock and stared out over the water.

"yeah..." she smiled and started walking closer to the water before she realized that Shannon wasn't following, she walked back over to Shannon "what's wrong?"

Shannon smiled and shook her head. "Nothing. I just tend to get caught up in the beauty of this place" She sighed happily and looked around then back at Mia. "I'm glad you like it. I always come out here. To think"

Shannon smiled and wrapped her arm softly around Mia's waist. "That is for sure" She said nodding in agreement

Shannon grinned and laid her cheek gently against Mia's hair gazing out over the water. She sighed softly and gently stood up, unwrapping her arm from Mia's waist. She went over to a tree and pulled down a small basket. She held it out to Mia. "Here. It's a picnic. For you." She laughed softly. "I put it here last night." She stated answering the question she figured was coming. "And yes I'm sorry for leaving you"

Shannon shook her head. "Nope. Just a guess." She smiled. "If you had made me pick, which you sort of did, I would've brought you hear regardless" She laughed. "Now eat! I bet you're hungry"
