Any other Additional Info: I have two cats Goofy and Kikyo. I love hermit crabs come spring I'll be getting more (never let your step dad care for your hermit crabs while your gone a week. There will be death) I am a huge Inu-yasha and My Chemical Romance fan girl, but I have managed to contain my rabid moments and keep my internet legability (sp). I suck at spelling.

Why do you love Japan: Hm, no real reason I guess. I just do? I don't love the whole country per say, just more of the people who live there. > .<
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Born and half raised there. Born in Niigata, lived in Nippori mostly.
Interests:lots and lots of Video games. School and Art. I also like shopping.

Any other Additional Info: i was recently filling out a form to do a summer exchange to Japan. unfortunately, i did not get an appointment to the dentist or a physical in time, so i won't be going. i plan to go to college and major in horticulture (the study of plants)
i have a habit of using "big" words, and also of speaking in Spanish whenever i know something that fits the situation. though i try to include a translation in parentheses (not to insult anyone's intelligence, but there is always someone who doesn't know what "superfluous" {excess, unnecessary, etc.} means, and many people do not speak Spanish, so i try to help those people out). if i do not include a translation and you are clueless about what i'm saying, simply ask, and i will translate. if it really bothers you, just tell me, and i will try to stop.

Why do you love Japan: I first became interested when I started learning about traditional Japan, their ways, their lifestyle and customs. Now, they are wonderful people and I would love to experience their culture.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: No, not yet, planning on going within the next few years though on a working visa so I can stay longer. Would love to go to Okinawa to see the sakura.
Interests: The outdoors, music, travelling and socialising with friends.
Other Gaian Hang Outs: You'll usually find my on the Life Issues section, giving or asking advice. Or otherwise Chatterbox, only if I need money though.

Why do you love Japan: Japan is like cookies.. you just can't help but love it. X33 I love the ancient traditions (most of them) and the mythology.. Manga and anime are also two reasons to love it..

Why do you love Japan: Why not? It's so different... so awesome.The culture, food, and language are so different from what I'm used to, it's all so new and exciting.
Ever been to Japan, if so where: Not yet. Though the Japanese class ahead of me went to Niboribetsu (sp?) a couple years ago. Our class is just hoping to make it to Japan.
Interests (other than Japan): Reading, writing, computers, physics, engineering, anime, mythical creatures and stories, culture, running x-c, music, Band- concert, county, jazz, pit, pep, orchestra, and other related things, street skating, drawing, and school.

I'm a junior in high school. I've taken two years of Japanese. I'm not taking any this year, but plan on continuing it next year. (We didn't ahve enough people for a class this year.)
I'm a band nerd. I play the clarinet in most bands, but I picked up the saxophone a while ago for jazz. I also regularly practice the flute (I got one for Christmas) and my little brother's trombone. I've previously practiced piano, violin, guitar, and trumpet, though I never really had time to get into them.

Why do you love Japan: Everything I've ever seen about Japan is beautiful.. I think it started when I first started watching Iron Chef. The language sounds like alot of fun to learn too. I once tried to teach some to myself, but I think I need an actual teacher lol. The music is just beautiful, infact some of my favorite songs come from anime shows.
