Hiro looked at Rikou as he blew away the mist village ninjas,
"I am so glad your on my team right now."
The mist ninjas were taken by surprise with that technique. They took a big hit that might stall them longer than needed.
Lets just hope they are stupid enough to focus their chakra to their feet again. a worried Hiro thought.
A couple minutes flew by and the huge net was in sight. Hiro looked back with no one on their tail. Rikou also had a worried look, but he had a determined look too. He did not want to give up. It kind of made Hiro happy that Rikou had that much trust in his plan. Erasing Hiro's worries, he also did not give up and continued heading to the net with determination.
"I'll kill you bastards!", an echo heard from behind the two determined ninjas.
It was the mist village ninjas, but they were really mad this time. Converting even more chakra to their feet now.
Heh blinded by their anger. Their making this too easy. Get ready to throw the exploding kunai Emi. Hiro thought to himself hoping she heard the message.
"NOW!", yelled Hiro waiting for Rikou and Emi to their assigned duties.

Emi had spent the last couple of minutes making a gigantic net out of vines in the forest. It had been one of the most annoying task she'd ever been assigned in her life, but she had managed.
She finished the net, and sat in a nearby tree, waiting.
"I'll kill you bastards!"
Well, that must be our prey. Wonderful. Such happy people. She pulled a couple of exploding kunai out of her pack, and waited. She saw Rikou and Hiro enter, and tensed, ready to throw on command.
"NOW!" Hiro yelled, and Emi threw the kunai several meters in front of Rikou. Sorry, buddy. Hiro told me too.

((Not to be an a**, LKhAnZ, but you have to becarful on the god modding. I know its minor and actaully pretty close to what I would actaully do and I'm not too offended by it and neither is pickle relish I guess since we're on the same squad, but its more harmful to those not on your team. I'm just saying, becarful with that habit when in fights against others or you might press the wrong button.))

Rikou gathered his breath to concentrate for his part of the plan, focusing some Chakra to the outside of his body for the incoming attack ahead. Raikou however wanted to spice things up for the plan to properlly execute the plan more successfully. Rikou readied himself and jumped up to land in front of Hiro. He planned to perform the Human Bullet Tank technique to protect him from the blast and transform back to easily recover from such a blast. Using the recoil form the blast and proper projection, Rikou would land by the net and turn back just in time to launch the net. Rikou was very confident at the moment contrast to what he felt awhile ago, confidence that can only be created by the knowledge Rikou had two of the Nara Clan as his allies, their minds together could probably develop back up plans in moments. On the other hand, they were also the children of the Kazekage's sister, which did bother Rikou. He knew most of the parents, but not much about Hiro's and Emi's mother and because of that unknown variable, he didn't know what else they inheritted other thne intellignece, maybe arrogance or some other attribute. Hopfully their mother didn't have any major qualities that would contribute to the failure of their great intelligence. Rikou mentally slapped himself before thinking anymore, he was judging his teammates based off who they were born from, something he would never usaully do. He could only guess the tension of this exam was making him think differntly, hopfully it wasn't permanent.

((Eh. I was thinking the same thing, Minron. But I figured since all he did to Emi was have her build the net, which she was already going to do, I just rolled with it. *shrug*))
Emi moved to a tree closer to the action, but far enough away to avoid the explosion. She crouched in a comfortable position, and prepared to execute the Shadow Possession Jutsu, once had Rikou had thrown the net.

"Training huh? is this the same training you ran out on earlier today or something entirely different?" Ibaraki laughed.
The truth was he didn't plan on training with his dad until sometime this Weekend. And after that, he'd take off, womanize, train with Sensei, and repeat the process all over again.
"How about Jubei?" the silver haired teen asked. "Any real plans?"
'I wonder what I should name my Cafe,' Kiku thought to herself. 'Most likely be a civillian hangout, so nothing to shinobi oriented...of course, I can't let the name link me to my family either.'
She looked down at the scroll that rest in her side pouch and bit her lip. Maybe they should just make abunch of copies? It might be easier, give out the fakes instead of the real one everytime they ran into trouble.

Ryu looked at her comrades and felt like sighing heavily. Why did she get stuck with her sister and a useless extra?

Jubei looked over at Ibaraki and thought for a moment.
"The first thing, huh? Well, probably take a shower."
He glanced about the area once more, keeping an eye out for anyone that may pass.
"I guess that all depends whether or not they have an elimination round like they did with our parents."

Mai was a little confused, though it did not show on her face. Didn't Jubei always have a reaction to her hugs?
Thinking about it for a moment, Mai decided not to press on the issue any further.
She regarded Jubei's remark, and pumped her fist.
"Oh, god! I hope we do get to do the preliminary round! It'd mean a possible chance of us fighting.. that person." Mai said, not referring to the Akatsuki, in case of being over-heard.

He stopped a moment and looked at her.

Kaede's mind was a-flurr as she bounded between branches.
Well, technically, her language was a tad bit more forecful and, ahem, adult, but you get what I'm implying. The kunoichi wasn't really bothered about the kind of competition she was set against; she was a little bit more worried about locating her teammates- wasn't there rules or something that said a team had to be together or they're disqualified?
I'm really beginning to regret getting out of bed this morning... jeez, what a mess.
True to Aburame, inner turmoil made no show on her perfectly blank features as the forest was but a blur around her, dark blonde locks whirling around eyes ever searching, searching.
I should get my hair cut... No! Stay focused, c'mon, pull it together! It's just like Suna, really, just with more... trees.
And darker.
And colder.
Oh, feck, I'm lost, aren't I.
Kaede halted a moment on a thick branch, glancing from side to side.
I could kick any of these Genin's asses easily enough, but I don't know what kind of scroll I need to get. And I bet some of the teams already arrived at the tower.
The kunoichi shook her head.
Where did they run off to? Why don't I have the Byakugan or something useful?
Despite her current appearance, Kaede was actually quite a strong shinobi, but due to her absence from Konoha, none of her teammates actually knew her, or what kind of skills she had. Just her luck, or lack thereof.

Kiku sensed a being coming towards her at a rather high speed, almost clumsy in her actions really. It might have been her teammate, but then again, it might not be, so giving a signal wouldn't be a very good idea.
"Byakugan," Kiku hissed out, activating her blood limit and investigating just who was coming at her so fast. It was..."Well I'll be."
Pulling out a senbon, Kiku tied an exploding tag to it and waited until just the right moment to throw it at her late teammate.
"Heh, Ah come on sis, he knows if he ever tried that I'd pummel him, irregardless of who his old man is."
Ibaraki, despite his laid back attitude at the moment was actually a bit worried, he'd heard something about the old Jounin being called ot of active duty to take part in this battle. And he really liked his sensei, no one else seemed to actually accept a happy Uchiha.
Besides that, there had been a minor problem when he was born that had caused a storm of gossip. Afterall, there was only one silver haired Sharingan user in the villiage. So yeah, Sasuke was technically his dad -there were enough tests to prove it- but Sensei was that really cool uncle that let you do things like eat sugar all day. Even if he did wake you out of a hangover with a clanging pot.

Hmmm...
Kaede paused again on a higher up branch, the thin, whippy sprig dipping low under her weight. She held her balance remarkably well, like a sparrow on a poplar twig, as she surveyed her surroundings. But, despite this, again, her inner thoughts were leaning more towards the:
Omigod don't fall down. That is a really long way to go. Ohhhh my deities...
To distract herself from the bowing branch below her, the kunoichi returned to her searching, looking for anything that might be out of place in a black, brown and green forest.
Well, admittedly my choice of colour makes me stand out, but it could be worse. Could be pink.
She shuddered.
Waiiit a minute...
Sunlight glinting off metal- a senbon?
Hurriedly, Kaede drew what looked like two black and orange sticks and, even though she was poised on a branch that looked ready to break, she sunk into 'combat' position.

Hmm, so she was smart. Even so, the tag was activated and Kiku thought her teammate needed a bit of a kick in the pants for being so darn late. With deadly precision she'd learned from her ANBU uncle, she threw the needle thin weapon at her target and awaited the eventual sparring match that would come.
Ibaraki jumped a bit at the sound of an explosion. Whoever was fighting was close enough to be heard, but explosions were always easy to hear in deathly quiet forests of death and doom.
"Wonder who's fighting," He asked. "Hey sis, who uses explosives in our age group?"

Kaede sighed internally. What would come from something like this? Attracting unwanted attention, that's what. Anyway, if this girl, whoever she was, wielded projectile weapons then she would find herself at a disadvantage. With a flick of her thumb and forefingers, she snapped the sticks open to reveal black-ribbed fans, the sun shimmering on the orange silk. She almost pirouetted as she summoned the chakra to her hands and her weapons, a movement she learned studiously, and suddenly a carefully aimed blast of air sent the senbon off kilter into the darkness of the forest below, where the dull thump and orange glow told of an explosion on the forest floor.
"Nice try, kid, but I don't have a scroll."
The kunoichi remarked.
