Quick notes. Joseph would take the box o'grenades. Reactive the medibot and bomb droid and hop in the back. And by back he meant the ******** was gonna play turret.

The truck jerking forward would threaten to send Lah right out the back, but he refused to miss out on the salvation of TRUCK. Good thing he had great balance.
He forced himself to fall backwards into the truck instead. He'd just kick any zombies that showed, without standing up in the back of the thing. That was a bad idea, evidently.

The truck bounced over a final zombie, the small creature's agility not helping it to evade the wrath of MR. PLOW. The truck, now moving at a solid pace, barely reacted as it moved over the robot. The engine roared and Caesar guided it skillfully at maximum speed down the streets of the ascended way and into the corn maize; taking agricultural rodes with the same skill he was able to move through them on foot.
The boy was a natural, and he gritted his teeth. The air there did not look the best, but it was the quickest route through to the clear fields on the far side. And there they could take a breather.
(Cleared with Opaj; we're good to move out))

The zombies would not follow; instead, they began to return to the streets, shuffling and peaceful, tearing open the manholes and crawling down into the sewers.

Aiolos was exhausted. The zombies were more or less gone, and the tornado with it. So he stayed behind to catch his breath. After a bit, he stood up again and put on his hat.
"Joy." He sighed, "Guess it's time to start moving again. Somewhere." Aiolos took a coin out of his pocket and looked north and south.
"Heads north, tails south."
He flipped the coin.

"Screw that." Aiolos growled, and went back to the Palace dome. Where this mess began.

arrow Palace Dome
Xehart entered from the direction of the Palace Dome, eager to hit the clouds that touched the sky. The more Xehart travelled towards the clouds, the more he was sure they were the cause of the people disappearing. That was all he desired, all that he wanted from this place was that secret, that weapon which could be used against the living. The scum. It was almost an insult that Xehart had needed them to save his self.
Despite this insult added to injury, he was feeling better after his run-in with the Anti-field. His energy was already returning. As the entered the Ascended Way he used part of a dilapidated house to clambed onto the rooftops, and from there quickly travel through the area, avoiding any zombies which hung around on street level. It was a slower process than just running through the streets, but it was surely faster than fighting through any zombies that came his way.

And out of the Palace Lah came running, putting every single ounce of his effort into moving. Moving. MOVING.
He was even supporting a man on his back, who seemed to have passed out. So, the dark-haired acrobat was making his way rapidly away from a building that was being demolished just as fast by another building.
Lah finally got his badass moment for the event. Weary-looking and stony-faced, he was silhouetted against a massive cloud of dust that was the Palace being annihilated.
And, even as the place continued to sink, he was on his way away from everything, and towards some woods that pretty much marked the change in events from boring to shitfest for him.

From Palace Dome.
As Taro got farther and farther away from the dome, he felt his landsickness begin to fade. It was about time damn time, he had never felt that bad being on land before. He caught his breath for a moment, as he had been huffing it out of that place after some other place fell from the sky. I mean seriously, what the ******** was going on?

To Temple Square
As his breath was caught, Taro began to look at his surroundings. He looked to each cardinal direction trying to get a glimpse of or clue the connection of where the hell he had landed to wherever he was now. The lifeless robozombies no longer interested him, so his gaze saw only a few ruined house which looked like they could have been valuable at one point. He considered scoping out the houses for valuables but then again this place was getting pretty hot. He decides that with sinking buildings all around, it is much better not to stick around to much longer.
