i ran by Amon, not realy noticeing him right off..
i look up at the roofs instead of the ground as i murmer lowly to myself.
then letting out an irritated sigh i yell. "Bain!? come back!. im sorry, just come back to the church.. ill clean up the mess and you can kill who you want.. please?!" i sigh and sink on the bench Amon was sitting on.
talking to myself as i lean my head on my hand. " she's been gone longer than normal.. a whole night now.. i shouldnt have goten that upset, i knew i was over reacting..."
i look up at the roof across the street and whince. " i can fly, but not over the entire city... how am i going to find her now..." i get up and, never noticeing Amon, take off twards the Zoo at the other end of the district.
" mabye.. she will be there.." i shout again for Bain as i go, realy hopeing i didnt have to go to Luke now. "he is such a pig.. but he can find her better than i could.. damn damn damn... " i step up my pace and turn around the corner, still calling for Bain.

still half asleep my ears twitch, and i realize someone was calling me.
" as if.. im no dog to call back to its master.." curl up into a ball and doze off again, ignoreing the pain in my side i had got when i had fled the church. it ached, but i had had worse.. much worse. " im.. just going to sleep. let them do what they want for a while.." i whince as my put to much pressure on my side, holding back a yelp. " ok.. so i hit the roof a little harder than i thought..."
i reach down and tugg my shirt up, looking at my bruised ribs with a low whistle. " well.. ok so i hit alot harder. " with annoyed slowness i put my shirt back into place and curl up on my other side, knowing that i broke at least two ribs when i fell from the church roof. " ill go back tomarrow.. then ill be able to walk and look normal.. they wont even know i was injured." i try to smile, but just cant make myself. sighing i finaly doze again, stiffleing any yelps when my shirt rubs my ribs wrong. it will heal.. just have to wait it out.
almost an hour later i sigh. " they are still calling me.. how annoying."
i look at the neon bar sign above me and my ears twitch. " well, if Fate is looking then i dont even have to move..." i reach up and slice my hand on the metal hook, then let my hand fall to the ground. " she can track by smell like i can, so im just gonna sit tight and see how long it takes them to play along." i stretch again, not even whinceing when i move my side wrong. " ooo agony.. im friends with it, so its almost amuseing it should come to call.." i turn onto my back and stare up at the sky, smileing to myself as i think of how Isa reacted before. " i gues, it was kind of funny... though mabye i should... not force my sense of humer on her, she is only human after all.." i lagh, then get up and climb onto the sign. i settle in the curve of the U, and start humming lowly to myself.

i move quickly, knowing that Bain had cut herself so i could find her.
moveing at vampiric speed i didnt notice where i was going, and got a close introduction to another vampires fist. och...
i wake up and im being held by my hair. i let out a low growl and reach up, snaping the persons wrist who was holding me. i look around, seeing that i was still in the ally i had been attacked in. " wow.. nice welcome commity.." i look back in the ally and whince.. ohhh damn..
i had just snaped Luke's hand.. the leader of the leachers hand..
i look casualy around me for Bain, she went with these people on hunting partys sometimes. when i refused to go out. i look Luke up and down, noting that he did seem to feel hurt about his hand at all. as a matter of fact he just smiled and snaped it back into place. " gross. you know you should be in a bad horrer movie.. it suits you. " i look around again and sigh irritatedly. i know i smell her here, so why cant i see her? "er.. Luke, do you know where Bain is? she and Isa had an argument and she took off. i think she could be..." i bite off my sentance.
its never a good idea to tell some one like Luke that Bain was injured.
"she might be asleep some where" i covered myself calmly. "any way, is she here?"
" no.. but i heard that she didnt want anything to do with anyone right now. after all my little wolf is one of a kind in this place.." he smiled, enjoying the fact that he could say that and not have Bain knock him stupid.
"she isnt yours, and she did not say such a thing.. if you are not going to help then im leaveing." i turn to go, hissing in frustration when the Leachers block my path out. i turn back to Luke and with satisfaction note the fear on his face when i smile coldly. " im Bains friend for a reason... do you want to know what i can do to you while you are screaming for mercy? i bet Bain would love to watch you choke to death on your own blood.. i wouldnt mind the show either." i glare at him, dareing him to take even one step to stop me as i move back to where i smelled Bains blood. i look around, then up. ah.. there she is..
a few minets later i sit next to Bain, biteing my lip with pity. " son of a... you look like hell little wolf cub.." i reach down and lift her shirt enough so that i see the bruis's and obviusly broken ribs. " and you dont even cry... you, Wolf, are made of stronger stuff than i." i take in her appearance fully. noting her bloody clothes and the cutts across her arms i sigh. "how do you survive.. when you get like this. its amazeing that Luke didnt come and try to take you again, or that you have not bleed to death with all of these open wounds.. and to top it all off, you are up here asleep like its a freakin lazy day!" i carfuly pick up one of her arms and take it away from her face, then whince as i see the long cut that ran across her cheek. "damn...."

my ears twitch as i look at Fate, still a little dazed. " leave me alone, its not time to get up yet.." i smack a hand at her and roll on to my injured side, then i jump up fully awake. touching my side i look at Fate and smile, completely unfazed by all of my enjurys. " you think this is bad, you should see the other guys." i lagh and let Fate help me up, then growl when one of my legs goes out from under me. " well, thats weird"
i kick my foot a couple of times then, shakeily, stand on my own. i smile, still pleased with myself. " i took out a good number of those stupid men, and i even got that realy cute guy that was in the back"
at Fates questioning look i point to were flashing lights show a good distance away. " i hated that bar anyway, so its a win win situation." i stretch, then catch myself as i fall sideways.
i giggle as Fate gets me down from the roof, then starts walking me somewhere. when i realize where i dig my heels in and start pulling her backward. " im not going back there... not yet." i shrug off her hold and stumble backward, then when she reachs for me again i swip my clawed fingers at her and take off back the way we had come. leaveing a blood trail behind me.
i slam into a few corners as i run, unable to realy balance, then when i reach a spot i think is far enough from the church i let myself sink to the ground in a daze. my head feels light... mabye i should sleep again..
i lean back against the wall, then stand and force my aching mussles to move as i climb the fire escape not far away. im not a dog.. i wont sleep on the ground like one..
i make it to the roof, paying no attention the the now bloody lader behind me i curl up and watch what is going on around me. i dont know if im going back.. but i wont tonight.. ill heal first then ill think about it...

"hey! wait Bain come back!" i shout after her, knowing it would probibly do no good.
"Bain! please, i was just takeing you to the church!..." i sigh and look down, then stiffle a curse when i see the blood drying on the ground.
i murmer lowly to myself as i turn around and run to the church for the bandage's i kept in case of something like this. " she wont be able to heal that fast.. she is loseing to much blood.. that means i get her someone to eat on the way.." i bite my lower lip worriedly. " why didnt she want to come back to the church... its her home as much as it its mine..." i grab the box from its place under the alter, then race back into the street to look for Bain. " you would think with all that damned blood i could find her... why is it so hard now?!" i slam my foot against a building, turning away as the answer hit me. " i smell her blood, but there is to much to know which way she went.. damn it!" i take off the way i had seen her run, thinking of something i could do to get her were she could heal.

Amon stood now slightly curious as to what was going on. He saw that female from earlier who he had come across with the wolf girl It was the girl that he recalled turned into a dragon or something. He didn't really care. It was just the way she had gone past him so that had him curious. He wondered if this really had something to do with that wolf girl or perhaps this was about something else. Well, he could stick around to find out or he could go. He had no reason to really stay but nothing was making him go. He could smell the familiar scent of blood in the air and wondered if he should bother to try and follow it.

i doze in and out of consusness. some times wakeing as my wolf, others as my mostly human self.
i open my eyes tierdly and find myself as my mostly human self. i play with my fingers a little, then stiffen when i hear someone comeing down the street.
quickly i move to where i can see down to the street and stiffle a growl when i see Fate running by. knowing she was out of hearing range i sniff and curl up on my un injured side. " why would i let her take me back.. no one can bug me up here... and i dont want to wake up.." i let out a sharp yelp as i snag my side on a sharp peace of metal that was sticking up from the roof. " damn it.. i didnt hurt earlier, why am i so off now.." i look up and growl when i see one of the Leachers, Lukes gang members, was looking in my direction with a purposeful feel about him. "damn it.. of all the nights.. i dont want to deal with Luke telling me that im weak and need his protection again..." i lay flat against the ground, ignoreing any pain i might have felt as i wait for the vamp to leave. " ok.. so i need a new place to hide. why is it every one is around when im pissed off.." i get up and stagger to the roofs edge, then with out a second thought i grab the ledge and swing onto the next roof over.
i whince as i open one of my cuts, blood falling down to the ground below as i pull myself up and stop to take panting breaths. " well.. i think the right word for that is.. och..." giveing up my idea to move, i lean against the railing of the roof. " ok.. mabye Fate is the lesser of the two evils.. but i cant go back yet..." i put my arms around my knee's and rest my head on my arm, at a loss. " i cant go to the church.. and as irritateingly tierd as i am i cant go to Luke's.. " i close my eyes and sigh. "gues im sleeping on the roofs tonight.." looking down at the blood that was now covering the roof beside me i groan and lay my jacket over it. " how is there so much blood. none of my killings had this much... its just irritateing.. though mabye i shouldnt have played with the men in that bar when i was already hurt.." i sniff disdainfuly. " no wait, i wasnt hurt. i was just... not feeling well. a little jump like that couldnt hurt me... i think.." looks hopelessly at the slightly cloudy sky as i fiddle with my jackets sleeve. "mabye ill find Fate tomarrow.. i gues ill spend the night up here then go back and explain to Fate about the church..."

i come skidding around the corner, trying to make it back to the church.
"mabye she is there... mabye.." i slide to a halt when i see Amon, and not thinking better of it i run up to him. "Please.. you know Bain, did you see her? or can you feel her anywhere?"
in my rush i just grabed his arm and tugged him up. " come on, i need your help. if Bain feels me near her she will run again, if you get near her and distract her long enough i can make sure she doesnt bleed to death..."
i practicly drag Amon to the church square and turn to face him. " her blood is every where.. will that help you find her?"

Amon was surprised to see that girl from before suddenly speaking to him and dragging him off. He was curious to see what this was all about so he went along with her without resisting. So, this Bain girl was in trouble and he had something to do with it. "I could perhaps catch the scent of her blood." He spoke with a slightly thoughtful look. "She must be your friend, I presume, as you appear to care so much about her well being." He wondered why she did care. She appeared to be human but she could change her appearance and that made him wonder. "Would I get anything in return for me trying to find her?" He didn't always do something for nothing if at all.

he came from the church, just to stop dead. my mate...
he looked at the man next to her and he stiffend, feeling the dragon close to the surface.
in a few casual steps he is next to her, wraping an arm around her waist as he brush's a kiss across her cheek. when he goes to draw back he murmers to her. " you called for me Isa love?"
he stayed by her side as be looked shrewdly at the man she said was Amon as she replys. not noticeing his eyes have gone a deep black with splash's of red across them.

i reach beside me and hold his hand, speaking to Lev with my mind link.
yes.. Bain is gone, i had the stupidity to think and act like a human when i saw one of her kills.. i gesture to the blood, forgeting i wasnt talking aloud to Levac. this is all hers... she is in bad shape.
i look at him worriedly, takeing note of his eyes. they looked like black ovals with blood splashed across them.. they were so beautiful.. i shake my head. " we need to find Bain.. but first, so you two dont decide to go all he-man.. Amon, this is my mate Levac. Lev, my love, this is one of Bains hunting friends Amon." i tugg at Levs hand and start walking along the dry blood that cakes the street, heading in the direction i thought Bain would be.

he let her tugg him forward a ways, letting out a low curse when he understood whos blood it was. "Bain is bleeding that much, i didnt even know something as small as her had this much in her.." carfuly he takes his hand from his mates and looks at Amon, still keeping his gaurd up near the man.
"Amon, nice meeting you." he said lowly, not likeing to talk to others.
takeing a breath he shifts into his dragon self, enjoying the feel of freedom at the familiarness of being a dragon. his dragon was night black, with random blood red splash's across his hide. then he looks at his mate and winks a black eye, takeing off in the direction he felt Bain was.

i realize he is about to shift, so i jump forward and pull Amon back enough so that Levac's tail didnt knock him down.
i raise an eyebrow at Lev. " you know its rude to try and floor a new accuaintance." when he just winks i lagh a little, then turn back to Amon.
"sorry about that, he doesnt do well with other guys near me. though i dont think he would have tried to hurt you to badly.. he saw the sword V made on you." i smile at Amon, then turn to watch Lev's horse size dragon flying away. "he knows if you wouldnt kill him then the sword would"
im completly focused, no longer playful as i look down at the ground and move my foot against the bloody walking stones. " any way. what did you want? if Fate or i can get it for you then we will."

he was looking closely at the roofs as he passed when he saw one that had a dark spot on it. Bain? he landed easily on the roof and was shocked to see.. that it was empty. she was not here, but it smelled of her and her blood was there. she is... gone..?
he kicked off and headed back to Isa, not thinking to tell her in mind link.
