What should happen next? I have ideas for most of these..
The group should try and find the passage
They should work at finding, and defeating, Minixi
There should be an arc about the blue flame...?
They should learn more about each other
Everyone goes off and does something different...?

Suddenly the rain was beating down on the earth. "Wonderful!" Clyth said, he turned to Raiden. "So, you mentioned an apartment..."

Alayah agreed with Lance, but they had to figure out a way to shake off this demon.

Vercoles knew; now was his chance! He held up his gun and fired with one movement.
Minixi saw his arm move up, thankfully for her, from her peripheral vision. She jumped backward, and the shot missed her by a good six inches.
Vercoles was slightly enraged, so he decided to fire rapidly. Being as he was, Vercoles was one to act in the moment instead of think ahead. There was a loud bang as his finger pressed firmly against the trigger of his gun. This blast was followed by another, then another. Each time he shot, his whole body jolted a bit from the blast.
Minixi ducked behind the tree, and ran in different directions so as to dodge the shots and confuse him. Dammit, she thought, If I get shot, who knows what'll happen...
Minixi quickly jumped into the tree that accepted her body without a hindrance. Her body quickly vanished into the tree; not even her eyes were visible.

Vercoles kept on shooting at the tree, three more bangs, until a faint click was heard. He was indeed out of bullets. Vercoles continued to pull the trigger, even though there was no effect. Everyone's ears were undoubtedly ringing.

Clyth smashed him hard in the back, making him fall, he bent down next to him. "Dammit, what the hell is wrong with you?!" Clyth said, he grabbed the gun and gripped it in his hand. "This is why I hate these things." He threw it away. "Are you done?" Clyth asked aggravated. It was clear he might have made an enemy.

((There are no bullets left... he used them up))
Vercoles wrinkled his nose. "I have nothing more to say to you. Obviously, this isn't effecting anything, so I'll be off!" he said in an agitated tone. He grabbed his gun and walked off in the opposite direction.

Alayah glanced around quickly, and beckoned by waving her arm to get the others' attention. She glanced at them, then ahead, nodding her head. This is our chance... Minixi's gone.
Alayah strode through the field, then she lessened her walk to normal. She was waiting for the others to catch up; particularly Raiden.

"What are you thinking?!?" Lance yelled at the top of his lungs. "I'm not even kidding, what was that?!? That's not going to do anything!" he continued. He wasn't the kind to let things go because he slightly did like a good argument. "Just stop!" he finished as he lunged his sword toward the tree. His anger was getting the better of him, as usual. Lance was tense and took his best slashes at the tree. His speed made it appear as if he was teleporting around the tree.

(( Sorry for not posting, I'm not sure what happened. And I'm a little tired right now so... yeah. xD ))

He didn't pay much mind to what was happening, he kept one ear on what was being said and every minute almost on the tick would his burnt aqua eyes glance back to the others. He doubted this would end with him having to fight the demon. He nodded yes to a few statements said, but he was more interested in the sky...

Raiden paled slightly when it started to rain, his head drooped, and he sighed heavily, as his brown hair started to stick to his scalp as the water lightly beat his back. Again he paled, quickly glancing up to Lance when he spoke about leaving. Now, with the demon here? He wasn't against taking the Imariquan to his home, and maybe a human but... In the end, it was solved for him. The man that had fallen over, or was knocked back- Raiden missed what exactly happened there, fired a few shots at Minixi. He started forward, planing on stopping the human but second doubts held him back.

He trust neither of the two, the demon or the shooter and so stayed where he was. Reading himself if he needed to stop someone from being hit. The Imariquan heard footsteps as they trudged through the slightly muddy ground- What was dry dirt quickly soaked up the rain and caused it to turn to muck rather quickly, much to Raiden's disappointment. He turned to look, Alayah was moving away. Trotting over to her, he glanced once behind him towards the wounded tree where the Demon still hid. They could of at least tried to play nice.

((Slight length for the lack of posting, I would add more imagery and make it all prettyful but I is tired. Kinda. More or less I simply want to sleep. G'night?))

"Come on, let's go... No one wants to stand out here in the rain..." said Alayah softly. Raiden was close now. "We're going to your house?"
Alayah felt several raindrops fall onto her scalp and cheeks. Their cool brush was soothing at first, but the rain got a bit heavier. Soon, it became less of a soothing pat and more of a hard flicking sensation over her skin. The damp smell floated upward as the ground dampened and the trunk of the tree became darker and damp.
Alayah continued to walk, stepping deliberately through the grass. There was no need for this guy to injure the tree; what did it ever do to him? You shouldn't act so rashly... It reminds me of a demon... she thought. She almost said it aloud to him, but she didn't want to come across as arrogant. Instead, she put her head down, almost as if ashamed, and continued to walk on.
Vercoles was running off now; these people annoyed him. Especially those Imariquan. But worse than that, there was the demon that he let get away. He was shaking from anger at himself, but he wouldn't dare show it. For he wanted to play the overly cool one that doesn't distinguish between good and evil, but goes his own way. And he knew this. But that wasn't him. He knew himself, and he knew the character he played in front of others. He almost couldn't help it. All of this ran through his head, but he didn't want it to. It was too much thinking, and he knew if he overanalyzed things his thoughts would get way out of hand. He might even start believing in the Blue Flame. He knew every aspect of what was expected of its followers was impossible to believe; for Vercoles wan an analyst, not a person of faith.

Minixi was nowhere to be found. She wasn't dwelling within the tree, but she was far beneath the earth's surface. She needed to retreat to the dimension between the crust and the Center to rejuvenate her powers; possibly strengthen them. If she were to go up against them, there was no way she could win now.
((Nah, here your posting length is great! You don't need to worry about that. I like your imagery ^_^))

(( Only the first part of that post of mine held any good imagery. >.>;; But if you want, I'm half doing a blog where I post short-story things. One of the posts is Raiden's first one actually. xD But yeah, those have more imagery. ))

The darkened sky's tears were... bittersweet. While in one hand the stinging cold drops would cool the flames of anger growing in the people he was to lead to his apartment; in the other buried memories and chills were clutched. Raiden hung his head, watching his feet shuffle past clumps of green grass cloaked a light dusting of dirt with a few streaks of clean running down them where drops of water had washed away the layer of dust. His mind wandered, and the Imariquan forced his thoughts to give a wide birth to memories of his brother. But with each sharp sting of rain against the bare skin on his arms or on the nape of his neck, his mind took a step closer to family. It was aggravating.

"No one wants to... stand in the rain." Raiden repeated what Alayah had said, mumbling under his breath as he turned his face up towards the cloud covered sky, feet still moving automatically. Noting a lone Lightning bolt streaked across the sky, momentarily lighting it up as the cold water dripped on his face and a few sliding down into his shirt. But the Imariquan paid them no mind, lost in his thoughts as they circled about, dancing on the edges of things he did not want to think about. It wasn't till his dragging foot caught a rock, forcing him to stumble, half-tripping, that his thoughts raced back to the present. Raiden glanced around slowly, eyeing the shadows cast by trees with distaste, and remembered that Alayah had asked him something. "Yes, yes..." He licked his lips, glancing around once more unsure. "My apartment..."

(( I tried to put a bunch of imagery in that. >.> But I think it made it a little hard to read. ))

Clyth watched him run, then turned. He grabbed Lance's shoulder, and had to tear him from the tree, the claw marks dragged along it. "There is no point Lance, get going." Clyth said looking in another direction then from they were heading. "I think I am going back out on my own, why put Raiden in danger..." He was quickly soaked. The bandaged on his body began falling off, revealing the cuts and scrapes. He began gong on, with a troubled mind. I can't seek refuge with the others, I will handle this best if no one is around for me to worry about.... Clyth looked up, Kamoon was going to start following him soon.

((I love your posts... they make me happy lol))

Alayah whipped around as she heard two distinct thumps on the ground; one right after the other. They were Raiden's feet, as he almost tripped over a rock that was just large enough to snag a careless foot if one wasn't careful...
The rain... thought Alayah, it occurs when the clouds are full to the brim with water vapor, and they have no choice but to let it out in the physical form of rain... she stated simply in her mind. With all of these emotions... not just in me, but in everyone... we all just... need to rain... to cry our emotions into a physical form... to confess... as our droplets become heavy, our weight upon us will become light... and we will once again be free.
When there was silence, Alayah often observed her surroundings. Indeed, there was a silence, despite the soft pat of the rain upon the dry ground, as they walked to Raiden's apartment.
Soon, the steady slope of the hill vanished, and where bulldozers once reigned took its place. The edge of the city; home of the people who bustled about revolving their lives around numbers in a circle, or sometimes a square.
The pavement was lightly speckled with dark spots where raindrops had hit.
The beginning of the city was marked abruptly, with only a road; no welcome signs or monuments. This road was on the eastern edge of the city, bordering the valley which lead into woods. Within the city was where life dwelled; on top of the safety of the pavement...

((oh whoa... I just realized that there's an episode of Bleach called "Memories in the Rain" xD that's just what keeps on coming to my mind. I don't even remember what the episode is about lol.))

Lance saw Clyth move away and swiftly pulled away from the group to him. "Where're you going? I still need to know a little about where you've been and what's been going on. C'mon, its been almost a year!" he said questioningly.

((Um... That's all I got for now...Sorry sweatdrop ))

"The same, on the streets." Clyth said. He looked back at the others, it would probably be stupid to head out now. Clyth forgot his thoughts and walked back with Lance. "Of course, today some crazy stuff has happened." He began explaing the event, leading up to the underwater cave, that he wasn't sure existed or not. It was obvious they needed some catching up to do.

Alayah stopped abruptly. The distinct line where the grass is juxtaposed with the sidewalk seemed to call her eyes. Possibly not the line itself, but something within it. Some of the grass loomed over onto the pavement in futile efforts to regrow.
But there was something more; within the soil masked by the grass, Akayah caught a glimpse of something that looked far from the normal litter that plagued the city. For there was a shiny string on the ground.
Alayah bent down closer to see that this string was not a string at all; it was in face a tiny chain. The chain meandered its route to under a clump of grass where the end could not be seen. The chain was indeed dirty, but not so much as to the point that it had no shine left in it. She was convinced that the only reason it caught her eye was because the fresh droplets of rain caught the part of the metal that wasn't caked in dirt and made it shine a little more.
Alayah reached out her hand and delicately picked up the chain with her thumb and index finger. It pulled up from the ground with no trouble, and was cold and damp from the rain. But once Alayah had lifted it from the ground, she saw that it was connected at the end; it was a somewhat long necklace. What was more; the necklace was weighted down by an encased gem. Alayah held the gem in her hand, brushing off the dirt that caked it's surface. She could see a vague blueish green tint to the stone.
It won't do anything but sit and rust if I leave it out here... thought Alayah. She let the chain fall into the palm of her hand and stood up, holding her hand to her side.

(( Sorry about not posting for... Four days? Eek. >.> ))

Raiden's eyes lingered on the dark sky for a moment longer, quickly shaking his head he sprayed a few drops that had collected at the ends of his feathered hair. He licked his lips, nervously glancing around. It seemed only Alayah was going to follow him, which was good but... He glanced behind him, no one else was coming. His blue green eyes danced along the people hurrying out of the rain before him, and he no longer seemed to care as the drops grew larger and more frequent. With a sigh, he admitted to himself that it didn't seem to be a shower that would end soon. Glancing over his shoulder, he paused mid step noting that her footsteps had stopped. The Imariquan quickly turned on a heel and took a few steps back to. Planting his feet on the side walk, spread at a length equal to the breadth of his shoulders, he watched.

Alayah leaned over and grabbed a thin chain in her hand, the tiny links interlocking neatly. Where her fingers had touched the silvery metal were now clean, the parts untouched still had a thin layer of dirt or grime coating it. She pulled the end of the long chain from the depths of a clump of browning grass, and he rose both eyebrows. A large gem dangled at the other end, Raiden's eyes narrowed. Watching the gem as it sparked through the dirt, it's color nearly mirroring the distrusting orbs that watched it. "Careful with that." He stopped his look of disdain to smile. But the expression did not convert his eyes, they still were sad and nervous. "And let's get out of this rain before we catch a cold, Mmkay?" He tilted his head to the side at his last word and turned again on his heel back towards the city and home. After a few steps he paused to see if she followed.

Alayah looked up at Raiden as she stood up. He seemed to be suspicious of the piece of jewelry. Then he said to be careful with it. For a nanosecond, Alayah's face was frozen, but then she smiled back at Raiden, ignoring the look behind his large blue eyes. "Yes... of course..." Alayah said quickly. There was a moment's pause as Alayah opened her hand to inspect the jewel once again. She wasn't really sure if it was a real stone or not; it was dirty and slightly muddy from the rain and soil. It did sparkle a bit, but it could always be that superficial flamboyancy given off by plastic. Although knowing this, Alayah thought, or rather hoped, that the jewel was real. "It could be a kid's dress-up toy for all I know..." Alayah said in response to Raiden's insecure looks. Alayah said it, despite what she felt; for she felt quite the contrary.
