"Musica Fuerte" a latin show, which is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Perfidia
Ran Kan Kan
Brazil
The titles suck, but the songs are pretty good, and the guard work is awesome (half of us even get to wear flamenco dresses... and I'm part of that half xD) The drill's pretty cool too. During the third movement, the drumline and pit do all the playing while wind players do a really awesome visual feature.

Daski-chan My director has been looking at an Earth, Wind, & Fire show for ours...I think he's gonna go with it.
But I dunno. And we dunno.
One of the students is looking for the sheets for the 16-Bit Show, a marching band in California did it once. It was amazing. Our BD was going to do earth wind and fire but too many people already have so now we are doing a touch of gold....sounds gay but BUT its got star wars music in it!

Animelee12 Reflections: Water(by Enya), Metal(by John Adams), Glass(by Robert Sheldon) McDowell's makin' up for 2 almost wins this year WE DID REFLECTIONS! like 5 years ago! i wasn't in the band but apparrently it was great!

we got movie music......the indiana jones arrangement is hard for clarinet....there's a couple little techical parts tht I still have to work out...we got Wizard of oz, Kung fu fighting, imperial march, fox/2000 fanfare thing, and other music i guess...it's pretty cool music...AND I LOVE THE CLARINET PARTS!

well, my band doesn't really have a theme =] we are in 2 parades, though (i think...maybe 3.. X3)
we're in a halloween a parade where each section has to dress up in a costume =] That'll be fun. And also a parade in NYC =]

My band is doing the Phantom of the opera show and then were doing a latin show with a grade 4 percussion piece. My director is also talking about doing a burton/elfman show next year featurng: This is halloween, According to plan, and Making christmas.

I wish I could do the Beatles. Their Music ROCKS!!!!!!! But no my band director is a loser. HE doesn't ask the students what they want to do. He just makes us play what he wants us to. But the music he chose this year so beats last years.
Last year we played:
Rocky Point Holiday
Adalina De Maya
Sonoren Desert
IT sucked but this year we're playing, music from TOP GUN!!!!!!!!!
We're playing the songs:
Top gun opener
Hot summmer nights
Take my Breath away
You've lost that loving feeling
Danger Zone
So Far Dazger Zone is the best song for the whole band to play and March. But we all like them alot.

This year, my band's theme is "Tales of the Warrior". For halftime, we've got three pieces lined up - the theme from Robin Hood, the theme from Xena: Warrior Princess, and the theme from The Gladiator. :3 It's amazing.

We don't have a main theme, but we are doing a band day for high school band people at my college and that I think will be our Beatles show and we are going to do three other shows, but we just did a Tempations show and that was pretty neat, but here they are
Tower of Power show
Elvis Show
Latin Show
In addtion to a pregame show.......*Sigh*
