Blade felt her eyes widen as she watched Shandra. Turning her eyes to the paper, her brow scrunched as she tried to realize what just happened.
"What . . . your body . . . ." Looking at Shandra for confirmation, Blade continued. "It rejects man made substances? That's your power?"

Becca smiles as she's invited on the outting.

"That'd be great! I used to snowmobile with-" she paused for a moment, expression sobering for a moment. "That'd be great," she said again, smile returning. "Are you going anywhere special?"

Markus trudged downstairs now bundled up and ready to head out. He stopped by the kitchen since he heard voices from there. He figured that he'd be nice and offer to see if anyone wanted anything while he was out. "Valerie...." He greeted as she wandered past the kitchen. His gaze went to the migit elemental as he entered the kitchen. "Mizu." He said. "Kara....Lance." He said greeting Kara and Lance. "I'm heading to the store anyone want anything?" He offered pausing by the kitchen table a moment looking between the two.

"Great," said Victoria as well, once Becca accepted her offer. Taking a few steps backwards, she motioned for Becca, Rouge and Sarah to follow her into the foyer. They were not on a time schedule exactly, but the anxious teen wanted to get going before anyone missed them.

"Yeah, we kinda are, actually," responded Victoria and she paused for a moment at the edge of the foyer to think. Snowmobiles....she had to wonder if they were kept in the garage or the hanger. Figuring the former since it was a ground vehicle not an aircraft, she started off with an even pace to the garage.

Listening carefully as the water-thing repeated his question, Lance's eyebrows shot up slowly in surprise, before furrowing and glancing at what was left of his meal. He would never admit this, but it was a question that threw him for a loop. If Mizu expected something deep and philosophical from Lance at this moment in time, he was horribly mistaken.

"I've never thought about it," he finally answered, his tone incredibly flat.

Becca followed the group of girls, carrying her bag until they entered the foyer. She glanced around at the decor then pushed the bag under a chair along the edge of the room, out of sight and likely to go unnoticed. As the moved, she looked around, taking in the unfamiliar rooms of the mansion, surprised how 'homey' it seemed to feel.

Sarah nodded and now they were four. Her smile widened as Victoria began towards the garage and the snowmobiles that were contained there in. She hurried after them. "This is going to be so much fun." She said trying to keep her excitement contained...last thing she wanted to do was accidentally damage one of the snowmobiles. "So yea...you two know how to ride them right? Cause I don't." She admitted.

"No," laughed Victoria, following Sarah to where the snowmobiles were kept, only at a casual, not spastic pace. "Of course not, but how hard can driving one of these be?" Moving in the direction of the sort of 'corral' they were kept in, Victoria looked them over before flicking a switch on the nearby wall. The garage door grinded into motion at this, and as annoying at it was, Victoria was able to ignore and subconsciously block out the sound, which was currently echoing in the vast garage.

"Geez, I hope we don't have to sign these out or anything," mumbled Victoria and she climbed onto the nearest one, glancing over at the controls. "That would be like just turning ourselves in before we've done anything wrong."

Sarah swallowed hard as she looked at them. "I'm a little nervous...I don't wanna break them." She did look around at Victoria's mention of signing them out. "I don't see no sign out sheet so I'm guessin that the sign out has to be with a one of the teachers or somethin." She said as she pulled her gloves and such on and sat down one one of the machines looking over the controls. It look rather simple. Thottle, ignition...ingition...keys...no keys. "Victoria? Where are the keys for these?" She asked with a frown.

"Oh, you'll be fine Sarah, I wouldn't worry about it," said Victoria reassuringly and she looked back at Sarah. Victoria could understand the girl's concerns, but she highly doubted that snowmobiles were that easy to break. She sure hoped so, at least. Hopping off the snowmobile at the mention of the word 'keys', Victoria shuffled over to the heavy metal box that hung on an adjoining wall. It took a moment, but she was able to find four sets of snowmobile keys without any problems. "Got 'em," she grinned, walking back and tossing Sarah the first set.

"It's not that hard," Becca said, glancing around to see if there was any sort of equipment. "We need at least goggles and helmets would be nice."

Her gaze wandered past the vehicles to the wall and the shelving adorning it. Wandering over, she shifted through the items there, finding several pairs of goggles. On the shelving below that, an equal number of black helmets gleamed in the faint light.

"It can get really windy," she said offering a pair of goggles to each girl. She grabbed a helmet for herself, not willing to force each girl to wear one if they didn't wish to.

"It's better to start out easy then pick up speed. When you turn, lean into it like you would on a motorcycle. And if it's bumpy, use your legs to absorb some of the shock otherwise it'll toss you off. That really hurts."

Becca fell silent, realizing how much her instructions were sounding like a lecture. An embarrassed flush crept over her pale cheeks.

"Um, yeah, it's pretty easy once you try it," she concluded embarrassed.

Looking at the water sprite then back at Lance her ears drooped. She felt bad for being mean to the little water dude but still, it gave her the finger so she didn't feel that bad about being mean. Her tail curled lazily behind her as she watched the two interact. Peering at the water sprite she said, "So little water dude type of..er..person..whats your name that way I don't make the mistake of calling you it or something like that again." She cocked her head slightly to the right, her ears perked as she gazed curiously at the creature.

Shandra bit her lip and then gave a half-shrug, "Eh, sort of. I block everything really, it just happens that the same thing -if it's not natural- happens within my body too. Sometimes I can get in trouble because of it so I came here."

She cleaned up the mess as best as she could, throwing the papers in the garbage she turned around and gave her an uneasy smile.

"So...why did you come back if you left?" Shandra asked, trying not to sound too inquisitive.

Rogue followed the other three to the garage. She'd taken the keys from Victoria and was currently stratling her snowmobile. She was just about to suggest that if Victoria and Sara didn't think they could handle the vehicles they could always ride with Becca and herself, when Becca decided to hand out goggles and helmets and instruct the other two.

Rogue accepted the gear and added, "Yeah. It's pretty easy to get the hang of, but if you two aren't comfortable with the idea, you could always catch a ride with me."

With that said she slipped on the goggles and helmet, sliding the helmet's visor up as she put it on. It wasn't her gear, but Becca didn't know she had her own stuff, so she didn't say anything. Besides, she didn't mind using the communal gear, it wasn't that different from her own.

Laura walked past the kitchen glancing inside only for a second to see what was going on in that part of the house. It looked like Lance was talking with Kara and Mizu. Strangly enough he didn't seem angry.

She mentally shrugged and walked past them. She glanced back at the former X-man following her, and it dawned on her what they should do for the afternoon. She motioned him to one side of the corridor where it would be less likely that they would be overheard by the others. She didn't want anyone else tagging along any more. This was something only she and Morgan would enjoy properly. The others would only be a nuisance.

Once they were off to the side she said, "How would you like to pay your former teammates a little visit? We could sneak in, maybe say hello to my- to Wolverine, maybe mess with the heads of a couple of newbies, some mischief or another. Sound like fun?"

"Ah, thanks," smiled Victoria, and she willingly took a goggle and helmet set from Becca. The set she pulled on weren't her favorite color in the slightest, but unlike Rouge, she did not have the privilege of a custom set just yet. Having gotten in trouble or caused some minor damage at least once since she had signed up, Victoria figured it would be a while before she got her own set of anything.

Waiting to put on the goggles, Victoria buckled on her helmet as she turned to face the rest of the girls. "Thanks Rouge, but I think I'll be fine," she said and started to pull her own gloves back on. "I'm ready when you guys are."

"Mischief, huh? Sound fine to me. And I'm sure a few of my old friends'll be dying to see me," Morgan replied quietly, a mischevious grin spreading across his features. "Anything you want to bring along, or we just bring ourselves?" he asked, keeping his voice low.

"Also, what about transport? I'm not borrowing Lance's van, because he's bitchy enough as it is, and I don't aim to give him something else to get angsty about. Though, he's surprisingly un-angsty right now. I wonder what's up?" he said, cocking an eyebrow, and sending a sideways glance at the geokinetic.
