JokerKyo As Kyo was stuffing his face with food, as was Flash. A little kitten came up to Flash, seeming like it wanted some of the fish. By this time, Flash ate over 10 raw fish and there was a few left he could share. Flash picked up one of the fish by the tail, awkwardly, and passed it one to the kitten. "Ah... little cutie~" Kyo said. "Where's your owner? She must be worried about you." Kyo watched the kitten elegantly eat it's fish, unlike Flash who just scull's it down. Hmmm... where did you come from? Kyo thought as he watch the kitten as if he was drawn to it.
Nami bit her lip nervously as she scanned each table in the cafeteria for her little white kitten.
"Lei, where did you go..." Nami sighed. Her eyes were drawn in the direction of the penguin and its owner once more. Her eyes lit up with relief. There next to the penguin was Lei delicately munching on a fish.
"Oh my goodness," Nami ran up to her kitten, "there you are. Were you hungry, Lei?" she turned towards the penguin's owner with a grateful smile playing at her lips, "Thank you sir."
The man most definitely was plenty older than her, but he didn't look much more than his late twenties.
"I'm sorry for any inconveniences Lei, my cat, might have caused you," Nami bowed her head respectfully, "She must be hungry still," she nervously twirled her red-brown hair around her finger and scooped Lei up with her other hand. She had long-since finished off the small fish.

Laura watched as the girl came to claim her cat. "Aw, it's no trouble at all!" she replied, sitting the icecube down, which was now the shape of a small cat. This she had done without realization; sometimes her mind works on it's own. "So, are you liking the Academy so far?" she asked her, to start converstion and to relieve the tension; she'd learned that kids get tense around teachers in a heartbeat.
Kiyoko continued the conversation, with Utada Hikaru singing in her ears. She enjoyed these conversations quite a bit; she and Lily would normally do this on Friday night if it was raining too much to go anywhere. Isabel was now on her lap, quite satasified.

Rizzle_Mage_of_Zhalfir Teroh was glad that his new found friend was happy again. He realized how much time had past and that it was starting to get late he had not eaten yet. "I am starting to get hungry, do you want to head to the cafeteria and see what they have to eat there?" " Sure, " rikku said smiling timidly. " Im quite hiungry myself" she walked along side teroh into the cafeteria. Rikku saw all of the students inside and became a bit flustered. She never really was around so many people before. She sat a table and slipped the black hood over her head, making her white hair standd out even more. She looked around as quiet as a mouse.

She could see that the child was nervous, shifiting from one foot to the other, so she thought that mabye she was being a bit too official. She wanted to befriend these students, not scare them away. "Oh, I see. It's a long drive, isn't it? As for the orientation, that isn't until tomorrow. It's at 9 in the morning, although I dunno why Kat-er, Ms. Marywater picked that time." she answered kindly.

She wasn't really in the mood for small talk, she wanted to return to her dorm room now that she had found Lei. Nami wanted to see if her sister was awake to talk, or even her parents would suffice. Lei mewed pitifully from her arms. Nami sighed but kept up the smile.

Laura could see that the child wanted to leave; she'd been here long enough to tell most face expressions: tired, lying, upset on the inside, etc. "Well, you probably have to finish unpacking, and it's getting late. My apologizes!" she saidd quickly, and also putting some of what was left of the salad in her mouth.

Nami was astonished that the teacher could read her mind so clearly. She bowed sheepishly, "Thank you, I will see you in class."
"I think my roommate's name is Rikku," Nami whispered quietly to Lei. She gave Lei's head a quick kiss. She was as warm as ever and her only confidance when nobody cared, or was around.
Reaching her dorm room, Nami unlocked the door and flicked the light switch on. She headed for her bags before taking a glance at the now-bright room.

She nodded as the girl left, since she still had food in her mouth. After swallowing, she couldn't help but smile; the girl looked so surprised. Of course, very few teachers at her own young age could understand others that well. Most people, really. It's a shame that yet another she knew was the exact opposite....
No, she couldn't mention her too much. Luckly, she hadn't messed with Laura much the past few years. That one incident was way too close of a call, though...
She forced her mind off of it, finishing her salad at last. She sipped some tea, and looked at the clock. "Strange, it got late really fast." she commented aloud. "At least we won't have to rush to go to sleep, since it's not til 9." she commented aloud.

Kyo laid on the table, listening to the conversation between the girl and the teacher. Kyo was too busy eating to reply to her questions or even to acknowledge that he didnt mind Lei having a fish or two. Flash laid on top of Kyo's head, they both ate the whole tray and were bloated. Kyo looked at Laura, "You know, when you're not teaching, time goes real quick. I have nothing better to do than run!" Kyo laughed at himself.

"As well as cause trouble, as the terrible teacher and pet duo!" Laura said jokingly; she had been the only one to see practically every joke and antic those had been the source of, most of them being quite amusing. "Wonder how the first day is gonna go? I bet ya that at least two people come dressed inapproiately, and by that I mean wearing stuff too short or too low. Gosh, I remember that one girl who threw a hissy fit the second year of the school running. She was dressed....well, like one going to a not-so-nice club, to put it midly." she said, although there were many other words that came to mind that she could have used.

Kirai sat back and watched the building. The sting wouldnt happen until 9:00, so he had a long wait ahead of him. Kirai pulled the blankets he grabbed over him and shivered, trying to escape the freezing winds. Kirai decided to dropp a call on his brother, so he pulled the device off his ears and took out his cell phone.

"Hahaha!" Kyo laughed. Everything Laura said was so very true, yet it seems like she would be the only one who would not get angry at their little antics. Upon hear the question and self answer Kyo simply replied, "Ah, things will be fine. Sure, some students will miss the little things about the rules of dress code and conduct but hey! it's alright, it's their first day." Kyo was cheery about the coming day, because he had been dying of boredom ever since he got back from his around the world holiday. Starting to teach again and being laughed at by his students and peers were very pleasing to him. "You know, i reckon one of the students will accidentally show off their 'gift' during the orientation presentation. That would be so embarressing!" Kyo laughed again.

Teroh walked through the food line, choosing this and that, but generally following the pattern of non-meat choices. After he had everything he wanted he took a seat next to Rikku. He could tell that she was a bit overwhelmed by all the people, so he tried to start up a conversation while he dug into his bowl of pasta. "There sure are a lot of people here, do they really all have powers?"

After a long conversation (with alot of laughter, since the video did exist), Kiyoko couldn't help but ask a question:
WingedGoddess: Hey, Lily?
Hyperactive Bunny: Yeah? Is something bugging you? You're homesick already, aren't you? I knew it!
WG: O.o Well....yeah. It's gonna be so strange w/o you! T.T
HB: *hug* Aw, you'll be fine! School hasn't started yet; you'll get used to it in no time!
WG:But, what if the students here aren't really...well, accepting? At least I had you to help me out.
HB: I'm sure you'll be just fine. You are all in the same boat; I felt bad cause I couldn't relate or help you at all.
WG: No! You were a bigger help than anyone! Don't tell yourself that!
HB: Really?
WG: Yeah! *hug*
HB: *hug*
WG: So......any more intersing videos?
HB: Heck yeah! I found a bunch yesterday..
"Oh great. That's one more horrifying worry to add to tomorrow's list." she added, literally hitting her head on the table to that horrible imagery, and didn't lift it yet. Why did he have to say that?! There were actually people who would do that too! "That wasn't quite what I meant at all...." she said after a moment, still with the head on the desk. She could feel Flash begin to poke her hair.
