Tai, without even looking behind himself, moved his left leg to try and trip Crow. All the while he turned and swung the black katana once more. "I wouldn't be so selfish if I were you," he said.

Orphis remembered the story of Siegfried and laughed. "Man, if you think that's shocking, you should know what he did BEFORE he got the sword in the first place." He decided to sit down, feeling entertained by their stupidity ((no offense! crying ))

"Much of the story I am familiar with, which is why I know better than to follow Sigfried. I need to arrive at the sword before he does. Soul Caliber piercing the sword of darkness while being wielded by lightest "holiest" warrior? I doubt this bodes well for your plans, either." He turned to the two girls standing near him. "Sigfried embodies what is wrong with the light; an "unstoppable warrior obsessed with destroying everything that is dark. Sigfried should prove to you without a doubt that the light is not inherently good. If the light gets its hands on that sword...the world shall be a much darker place."

Crow stared blankly at Tai as he spoke, then he noticed the movement. As Tai's leg moved to trip Crow he put more weight into his own left leg, stopping the attempt. Then as the katana followed closely Crow drew his dagger, in a swift motion he knocked the katana off track. Unfortunately for Tai this position would set his own balance severely off. "I'm after Nightmare, I settled for you. I'd hardly call that selfish."

Fortunately for Tai, this was planned, being that he could fight even as he lie on the ground to an extent. He quickly hopped off with his right leg, twisting himself around to swing his leg passed his left and hooked it on Crow's left leg. This made it so that he had a foot on each side of Crow's. He rolled quickly to one side, twisting his legs and, hopefully, bringing the man to his knee.

Crow smiled at the attempt, the kid actually had some damn decent moves. However, Crow was an expert in unarmed situations. He quickly dropped to a knee, before the scissor sweep had made contact and angled his left leg. Tai's right leg struck him in the back but it was well worth the advantage, for the left leg would be angled into Crow's waiting arms. Quickly Crow grasped the leg as it approached, then used his right arm to grapple it in reverse. From here he used Tai's own momentum to slam him into the ground face down, still holding the leg he began to tighten and pull it, bending the knee back, bringing it to the verge of breaking. Crow held his knife in his left hand still, at the ready for any tricks.

Tai hadn't thought of this as a possible counter on Crow's part, so he was fairly surprised when he wound up in a pin. However, being very flexable(double jointed to be exact), he seemed to whirl around, sending his right leg outward to try and kick the man's hand off of his left leg. To ensure a success in this attempt, he brought the black katana known as Meiringan downard towards Crow's head.

Orphis decided to take action. He countered Tai's sword with his scythe, and pulled it away. "Now now. Save them for me!" He said, kicking Tai back, and sending the point of the scythe towards Tai

Though it was another unexpected move, the kick sent Tai sliding out of Crow's grasp. He flipped himself to his feet expertly, sliding himself into a more ninja like stance than before.
