Man I just love the people I work with. I am gonna show ya'll this conversation. It started as this Facebook game thing.
What I said to Girl 1 (who has quit because she moved) on her wall:
First impression was similar to yours I didn't think I would like you but I ended up thinking you were pretty cool. I dislike that you are leaving. I like how devoted you always were too the kids. I have never told you that I think you are one of the best teachers at the daycare. Everybody else would be standing around... talking and slacking off and you would be right in there playing with the kids and talking to them. I always admired that about you.
Girl 2:
I find that very offensive if you don't like the way we work I think you should say it to us and not on someonefb
Girl 3:
Yeah I would have to agree. In the morning we work our a** off not only that but we have to make sure all the planing is done. I don't think you should say everyone at the daycare is a slacker..or maybe u should just look at yourself. And I think its childish to rant about the people you work with when you have all of the on your friends list
Girl 1:
I love all of you.. she never mentioned anyones name.. she was just complimenting me.. i really appreciate it though timmarie it almost made me cry reading it because im really going to miss playing with the kids.. but im going to get my life together and maybe ill be back!
Girl 3:
You are a good teacher and no names were mentioned but it said everyone...I just think that you should know all the facts about what's really going before you start talking s**t. And this isn't the only time.
Myself:
I really think you guys over-reacted. I didn't really mean it in the offensive way you took it. I just feel like when I look around in the afternoon Girl 1 is usually right in the middle of a bunch of kids. And neither Girl 3 or Girl 2 liked my status because if you had I am sure I would have had as many nice things to say about you. And I never said I wasn't like that. And I don't feel like explaining myself further via typing so I will address this with ya'll when I come in.
And I didn't point this out to them, but I will if they insist on fighting about it. As they were going on about what good teachers they were, they were both using their phones to post that while they were on the clock.
What a way to start my day, and now I am going to see them in a about half a hour.
tl;dr: I just wanted to rant for a minute, it is just work drama so if you don't read it that is fine.
