"So you correct crippling or potentially fatal defects while letting the others run thier course."
James was tinkering, punching in codes and routing through information on Cerebus. his fingers on the bioware hand moved at incredible pace, the kind of speed precision movement only machines are capable of. Stimuli..lets see if we can find that, and see if Cerebus will wake to a more..lively state. wiggle it's ears or something. move it's head. or heads. Show some life besides just floating in the nano infested liquid.

Phew, load off her mind. She would have been sorely disappointed if Micah would have said anything else besides that. It wouldn't make any sense not to correct the defects that would cripple the creatures.
So Jelly would have to explain the bred in stuff. That worked for her quite honestly. She did glance off at James and roll her eyes. "He's like a little boy with a brand new toy."
Then she walked over to one of the other echoes floating there. It had to be a relatively new one as it was very small and only had a tiny record of data in the computer. She played for a bit checking vitals and hormone levels as well as temperature and motion recordings. This was rather neat. "So what are you going to teach us Mr. Micah?" That happy go lucky smile back at him.

James' little computer station promptly gave a seris of beeps that didn't sound too pleasant at all, to which the screen instantly locked him out, refusing to take any further commands. Then hello, Micah was at his side and slapping his hand away from controls. "Don't play with things like that. These things are rigged to pick up the slightest changes being done and sound alerts when presets are too close to being changed." Point of a finger at James. "And I know you can hack."
But he cleared his throat, looking back to Lilia and then between them again. "I am to merely teach you how to read the information that's given, to know the proper scheduling and checking, how to make adjustments when needed and all that good stuff. Also you'll learn how to put these guys in and out of this stasis of thiers. Of course how to Log away the information....in the manner that it makes sense to Dr. Trevale." Which meant it made little to no sense to everyone else, doing her information was hell.

"Testy little thing."
Then back to the Cerebus in the tube.
"So we are learning how to monitor, adjust the progress of, and put into an dout of stasis the newly created Echoes, and hten also collect and organize this data in a manner that Dr. Trevale prefers. Am I correct on that?"
Hmm. he coudl do it. he coudl figure a way past that system and show some life in Cerebus yet.

"Look at you, upsetting the computer stations already. God James don't you ever know when to leave well enough alone?" She rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to Micah.
"Well that doesn't sound too hard. Basically you're taking us through the tutorial. I think I can handle that." She grinned at him and waved her hand. "By all means, begin your instructions. You've got two eager students here." She dragged James away from that Cerberus and shook her head.
"Kill one of those Echoes and JElly and I will both kill you."

"No you just need to not play. Believe me, everytime you come in here we watch you. We know you like to dabble and that you can bypass securities. Thus you have to behave. You may be dating the boss lady but you know how she is abotu her Echoes. No doubt she'd toss you out of project...then probably break up with you." A sigh from him. "That one only has about three days left on it, leave it alone."
A sigh from him and a shake of his head before clearing his throat once more. "But yes James that's right." Though a smile from him. "I think one is more eager than the other." A little shrug. "It's not terribly hard..." making his way to one of the stations and bringing things up. "Basicaly it's a bunch of commands you're going to have to memorize. You put them in a specific way", doing this while talking of course. "Yes I know they're a little archaic but this is how she wants it done. Sort of keeps the information from accidently crossing to some other platform."
A little shift of his weight. "One you isolate new data, you weed out the old and then you transfer it to a disk, write it all by hand, or directly send it to the computer that's set up to handle MISSED info. From there, Dr. Trevale enters everything manually into the MISSED system itself."

"I'm more eager than you think, Micah. I am just not as bubbly as the other one."
He watched, and you could almost hear the filing and computerized portion of James' brain memorizing and filing away everything Micah demonstrated. down to the last detail.
"Besides, for me, learning is quick and easy."
though...his available space was reaching capacity. he was going to need to get that upgraded..and that was a seriously dangerous upgrade.

Lilia once again cursed James and his stupid robotic brain. Must be nice to quick download or scan everything in and have it forever. She couldn't do that and it was going to take her a few times to actually get it all down.
She paid attention and watched but by about the third step was trying to keep it all straight and not doign a very good job of it. Finally she raised her hand like they were in school. "Micah...should I be taking notes so I can type up a nice list and use it as say...a cheat sheet? Unlike robotic boy here, I do'nt have a computerized brain. I have to learn the old fashioned way."

"I'll make sure to have a drink of hard liquor for you then in celebration." Micah? Not really one for joking or anything really was he? No not really at all. But a look to Lilia. "I'll give you some paper work to study with. I was in your shoes...except I had the pleasure of Dr. Trevale trying to explain everything...and trying to read her own notes."
A laugh at that, scratching at the back of his hair. "Her notes were hard too...just as unorganized as her rambling is and her office for that matter." Another shrug from him. "Any more questions from either of you?"

"None here. and iof you think it's so great, Lillia Nickko, then your more than welcome to get yourself 'upgraded' if you like. I'm sure my team woudl just love to have a Nickko strapped to thier table."
A slight smirk, though back to wandering to various tubes, pulling up information, storing, resending, analyzing.

She merely smiled sweetly, "Thanks but no thanks. I prefer a bit of a challenge every now and then though I appreciate the offer Moria."
Of course his team would love ot have a Nickko. Probably do unspeakable things to her too and her mother would have a field day with that. No thank you.
"Thanks Micah you're a real doll. I'm sure it won't take me long to get it but notes would help a lot." She grinned happily at him and then took to playing with one of the computer stations, just getting familiar with how the screens look. "I don't think I have any questions either."

"Wonderful, you're not overly chatty and you pay attention. Nothing better than that. Well play a few more moments and then we'll move on. Dr. Trevale told me to only instruct on those two areas, let you acclimate for a month or two then see if you can handle more or if you're better suited for where you are now. Now of course you know how she likes to change her mind anyway." Micah gave a small chuckle, resting his hands behind his back.

"I'm ready to proceed now."
A slight smirk at Lillia, he could read her expression like a book. the thanks but no thanks becuase they might do all sorts of horrible things to me. but not a big deal. though they might have had a little fun with her, put some things in there she didn't really need. after all, much like her mother with the Echoes, her father had been against the bioware studies becuase of the 'playing god' aspect. of course he had at least valid concerns. things like proffesional sport players boosting themselves, for example. the dehumazing of such when the status quo become bioware implants to even compete.

Rolls her eyes, "Do you do everything that fast? Poor Jelly if you do." Satisfied with her quip, she grinned. "Besides, the teacher gets to decide when we move on."
Turning back to the screen she kept playing with things and pulling random things up, checking them out, familiarizing herself with all the different components of the screens. She'd learn the intricate things later, but it would help her immensely if she could recall the features of each screen and figure out any questions she had now. Another few moments and she looked at Micah. "Okay, I'm ready whenever you are."

Micah had to hold in a laugh at that one. It was no secret that James and Jelena were dating, and no doubt sleeping together. So the joke translated across pretty easy. Good thing Micah was good at holding in laughter. He merely cleared his throat to it.
"Very well then, let us continue, yes?" Thus leading them out of the lab and a good five minute walk down the hallway to another room. James had been here too, Lilia hadn't. It was nice to be informed, wasn't it? Place was bare of everything, that nasty fleet issue white everything, but with a computer system and a few what looked like storage lockers on the same wall.
"This, my inquiring minds, is where the testing is done on the ideals put into the creatures heads. False instincts, if you will. This whole room is set up like the Holo Suites are on Impression. Whole room can change and what not. The storage lockers are just that, nothing fancy and sotre all the fun little impliments that we use for testing. Questions?"
