Farferalloie We have some jocks in our band. rofl But anyway, no, no one really says that...ever, I don't even know if they did when that movie came out, due to the fact that I was till in Middle School when it did. Well technically I guess I could be considered a jock because I play field hockey as well. smile And wow. I was in middle school as well, but my school is perverted as heck. stare

ha! im a flute! yay! i used to hate everyone in my section cause they were all reaally mean, and bsy...i hated it. but im in a new school, and can't wait to find out the new peeps!

muted melodies Alright all my flute-y tooties, I have a question for you. Do you still hear "this one time, at band camp" from stupid jocks/other morons? To this day I still hear it and it aggitates me to no end for the simple fact that I've heard it before and that it gives all of us flutists out there the rep that we like to..erm...use our instruments for...erm...pleasure. stare It's so juvenille and I brush it off with a stare hokay, but it still just REALLY annoying. Me and other kids in my band say that to each other all the time. Even at band camp me and my friends say it to each other. Actually yesterday at marching band rehersal, I said that I went to band camp over the summer, and my drum major said "this one time, at band camp" and I said "haha yeah, and I play flute, too wink " I think him and I intimidate other people in the band by the way we walk to each other, because we've known each other since kindergarten. Plus we both just intimidate all the new people anyway, because he's drum major and i'm the best musician in the school/one of the top flutes in the state. The other flutes are like, afraid to talk to me and ask me for help sweatdrop

Yeah, I'm a flute player and I've mastered all the junior district scales. Plus, you guys might think I'm wierd, but that's ok, but I can play rock songs on the flute.

I don't mind being like one of the only guys in the section, as long as you play what you're best at and you like it....yeah..We have sweet awesome music this year! Yes! The only thing I hate is the theme he gave it...

By the way I hate that saying! AHH! it drives me insane! no, band camp is NOT like the movies. You know there's a little thing called, IT GETS OLD! me and my Gf are like AHH!! SHUT UP! (we're in the same section) I just wanna smack em' when they say that!

weeeee! i'm a flute. just started marching band. i loooove it and i don't think i've used the term "this one time at band camp.." yet b/c... well i don't know why. it annoys me that they made an american pie movie about band camp. they just had to take something good like band and fill it with stupid, horny, pissy teenagers. stare it makes me sad.
mmm anyways. it annoys me that guard is considered part of the band (at least in my band) b/c i know they do work with the band, but they don't even play instruments! oh well. just another petpeev.

I bought a transverse flute made out of bamboo today! 'Tis awesome sounding, though I really need to get a book of music and a case for it, which only cost three dollars each from the same place I purchased it from. Very decently priced to, 26 dollars for a key of C, it's the largest they make.

Very decently priced to, 26 dollars for a key of C, it's the largest they make. Sweet! I think i'm buying a Brannen flute soon. I can't wait. That's like, the best of the best. So it's exciting.

uuum i'm am not a flutist i have tried but everytime non sucessful xD i did find an insrument for me but i wanted to ask u guys wtheck it was like to carry the melody xD btw the insrument i found was tuba
