Aiketh glanced between Micoi and Lord Jett. This might be awkward...
"Ah. Well, if you'll excuse me, my Lord," she took a subconcious step towards the door as she spoke, "I need to return to my duties. If anything else comes up, I'll report back to you." Giving a short bow, Aiketh turned around, starting to pass by Micoi on her way to the door.

"You don't have to leave..." the girl said as the officer began to make her way out of the office. Because the reaction you might give from my first question is hopefully going to be too precious, she laughed mentally before turning a cheerful smile onto the Dragon Lord. Alright, little lordy, let's see how you deal with this.
"As said, I was just wondering... are you any good in bed?" The question flowed as simply and easily from the young female's lips as if she had asked how his day had been or what he though of today's weather. What kind of question was that anyway? And to ask at a time like this. And especially while wearing an outfit like THAT! ......But the queen-to-be just stood there, smile and overall appearance innocent, cheerful and carefree enough to make you believe that she didn't understand what she'd just asked. But she had... right?

"Wha..wa--..." Jett's cry of protest to make Akieth stay died in his throat as she vanished out the door. He turned back to regard Micoi as she began to speak. But her next question, very unexpected, made him choke.
"Am I what? Of course I am!" He snapped back, rather irritably. What sort of question...

Indeed, what sort of question was--
"Well, I was just curious, you know." ...that. It seemed like it was a question the queen-to-be wasn't afraid of asking in the least. Ok, better question, what young lady did go up to their future husband and ask such a question? ...Was there even a good answer on that one?
"After all, you're my age times two plus some more but how am I to know how strict or stubborn you are in a Dusian court about that sort of things?" the girl said with a bright smile. Had she just insulted them all again, or?

Jett was not in the mood for this. But he really nshould indulge Micoi more. So with an exasperated sigh and a quick count to 10, and Jett was ready to answer.
"Micoi, the affairs of unmarried royals, while excellent gossip topics, are ideally speculation only. I was raised in this manner, and you will hopefully learn similar. However, since you are my fiancee, you are priviledged to know. I sincerely hope you will keep this between us, though, and not share with your Dragon Fighter friends." He remained silent after this. Was he expecting her to promise?

The door to Jett's office finally closed all the way with a sharp click. Aiketh stood in the hallway with her face burning up. Oh... God. See, it was things like this that made her so adamant about not prying into other people's businesses.

The young woman blinked once, tilting her head to the side. "Learn what? How to be great in bed?" she asked with a smile. Was she that stupid or just joking around with him? And if she was joking was she doing it to lighten the atmosphere or to irritate him?

"....Just keep this between us, please, Micoi." Jett responded plainly. He could never tell if the soon-to-be Dragon Queen actually didn't understand him or was just pretending. Either way it was irritating. "Yes, I have had lovers before. However, they were all familiar in the ways of courtly matters, so everything has been kept quiet. And before you ask, no, there has not been any offspring. And also, before you ask again, yes, they were satisfied with the relations. Very satisfied, thank you."

She seemed to be thinking about it for a second, or was she just pretending to?, before she smiled again. "Ok," she answered his demand, or could you call it plea?, for silence. "But, just wondering, what if there had been a child from one of those relationships. Then what?" she asked. "Would it have been kept silent also or would they have been able to acsend to the throne?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side yet again. She seemed to be studying him, actually seriously, now. So did this mean she did have a more serious side, despite her rather tender age? Seen from a dragon's eyes that is.

Jett's face turned grave. "I...I don't know..." He said, after a moment of hesitation. "I don't know if it would be possible for them to ascend the throne. It is likely they would be given land and place to live that is not at the capital..."

"It has never happened before?" she asked with a slightly incredulous and surprised expression. "That the Dragon Emperor has gotten a child with someone else than his consort, that is," she clarified. It seemed to be something that surprised her quite a bit. Well, considering their long history... but then again, considering their near immortal age... "Because, well, you can't always have found your Dragon Queens in the blink of an eye... right?" It looked as if he answered that they did, she wasn't going to believe him.

"If it's happened before, no one's ever said anything or made claims to the throne," Jett sighed heavily. "The Dragon Queen search is one of the most intensive searches that ever takes place. Everyone involved takes it seriously, and while she isn't always found right away, she is eventually found."

"What if there is none found or she dies before being able to deliver an heir? Will there come another to take her place, will the previous Dragon Queen step forth or...?" The young dragon's face was honestly serious this time as she asked the question.

"I don't know, Micoi. That hasn't ever happened before." Jett replied evenly. He was certainly telling the truth. He had never heard of a case where something had happened to the Dragon Queen.

"So... considering me and how I am," she seemed to think for a second before continuing, "will I be free to do as I please or locked behind four walls once I get pregnant?" It was a dare, a challenge, it was visible in her eyes for they seemed to glitter softly with an inner fire in the light... or perhaps that just was the light playing in the Dragon Eyes?
