"Pssft, you know your probly right... but then again... I'm not the one doing the over estimating here..."
With a sudden speed that, somehow, even surprised him Sin brought his heel up from the ground and, in a flash, Arched it right past where the head of Azure would be if he was standing behind him. From where his foot was previously a spark suddenly shot out and followed in the trail of Sin's kick. As it moved along the line of attack the fire expanded instantly and the resulting explosion actually blew away the entire wall, floor, ceiling and balcony behind him. The rubble shot outwards and rained down on the defenders below on the castle walls.
Letting his foot slide slowly back to a stop he ended up facing the wall of ice again and gave it a glare.
"and now you've gone and pissed me off...."
Raising his hand into the air sparks and flames from around the room, turning into a pure red fire from the black hued one's that consumed the room, shot forwards and begin collecting at Sin's finger tips. Slow each finger began to glow brightly, and one they became bright enough, Sin suddenly stabbed them into the very center of his chest. Doubling over, he fell to the floor and began to literally vomit fire. He remained on the floor for several seconds coughing and spitting out fire when he stopped and slowly pushed himself back up. From where he stood it looked as if his chest had been replaced by core of lava and in the very center pumped the bright yellow light of his heart.
Looking over at Azure's wall of ice he sneered and regained his Monkoto fighting stance.
"Now... lets see how well this generation deals with it's elderly... old man...."

Azure only raised an eyebrow at his oppoent's actions. It had appeared that he had spoken too soon. His technique was unique, and the thought of bringing this boy to his full potential excited Azure, to say the least. The wall of ice suddenly shattered, but somehow, the fragments remained in the air, and collected around Azure's body. He crossed his arms, as the black flames that consumed the room returned to their normal shade. The wind within the chamber had begun to blow violently as sparks of dark lightning began to jump from his body.
"Much wind pours from your mouth boy. Let us see how well you live up to your threats."
As Azure finished his statement, the shards of ice that surrounded his body had begun to slowly creep to his sides. There was a brief silence about the chamber as he raised his arm out in front of him. Once the length of his arm was parrallel to the ground, the shards lashed out at Sin, at the velocity of a tornado's wind. Their sharpened tips threatened to impale him in several places, and it seemed this was the intend of the Dark Lord of this Keep.

The ice shards flew towards Sin as he waited for them to hit him, smiling all the while, as they drew closer the bright core of his body suddenly pulsed and a massive burst of heat. As the ice passed through the heat pulse they immediately melted, leavening only water, then steamed and the only part of the original attack that hit Sin was a few vapor trails from what was left of the water.
"humph.... is that all? I really can't believe you of all people, the one who criticized my skills... are using ice of all things...."
Slowly reaching his hand outwards he held it level with his shoulder and smiled. From the center of his hand about several inches out all the fire from the room began to get drawn into that single space. As the fire from the room trailed over to his hand it began to merge an from a small sphere that kept growing and growing with the fire. When it had reached about a foot to two feet in diameter it looked as if it was swirling ball of fire that was contained within that sphere. From the core of Sin the light of his heart pulsed again and several trails of pure white fire crept along out of his core and over his arm, merging with the ball of fire.
"Lets see your ice deal with this..."
As soon as he said that he closed his eyes and the last of the white fire merged with the ball of fire and a low roaring could be heard from the center of the ball. a spark of pure light formed in the center of the ball and suddenly expanded and grew until it looked as if Sin was holding a miniature sun in his hands. it was brighter then any sun however and the light coming from the sphere actually managed to give off so much light it could be seen from the battlefield below.
With his eyes still closed Sin turned his smile into a sneer and suddenly braced his feet, preparing for a massive charge forwards. His hand however reached over and actually grabbed the sphere wisps of flame could be seen creeping over his hands and his fingers actually started to burn and char from the close proximity.
"Time... to... die..."
Springing forwards with incredible speed Sin first took a zigzag patter right at Azure then, before he was in striking distance, he leapt up and at the ceiling bouncing off and landing right in front of his opponent. From there he pushed the sphere close enough so the very heat of it was enough to sear Azure's eyebrows. Then Sin leapt into the air again and over Azure, landing behind him and thrusting the sphere forwards at his exposed back. The rapid movements and the close proximity to his face was solely meant to distort and blind the dark lord of the keep.

Azure's eyes squinted from the severity of the heat that engulfed the chamber at this point. He would have admitted to his surprise when the boy's technique got the better of him. However, this game was far from over. As the light neared him, Azure simply closed his eyes to avoid being blinded. He could sense the changes in the wind, and this helped to aid him in tracking his opponent's movements. His ears twitched a bit once Sin landed behind him, and almost instinctively he leapt into the air above, avioding Sin's attack and performing an aerial round-off. Once he was upside down, he opened his eyes, which were now glowing with green flames, and released a large bolt of Dark Lightning toward Sin. The bolt was large enough to both Tear through Sin's flesh, and at the same time, dispell his miniature Sun. His reaction to this manuever would determine the next course of events...but either way, it did not seem that the chamber they fought in could withstand too much more abuse.

From where his attack didn't connect Sin felt his opponent leap up into the air and release some sort of lighting attack from his hands and aim it directly at his exposed back. In an instant Sin had gone through the available counter measures he could have taken to avoid the shot and realized only one was going to have a hope of turning out well... and even then.
From where he pushed forwards he fell towards the ground and braced his hand on the floor while his other, the one holding the sun sphere, whipped around and literally flung the sun towards Azure's bolt of energy. The sphere flew though the air for a moment and suddenly connected with the bolt of energy. The resulting explosion from the impact of both forces was monumental and, if viewed from the battlefield, it looked as though the entire portion of the castle, that was composed of Azure's room, was blown off in an explosion of red fire and dark energy.
Sin was blown forwards, impacting the ground, and bounced into the air away from azure. Most of the walls had been utterly destroyed so when Sin realized he was flying through the air he reached out and, luckily, managed to grab onto another tower's roof. Yelling out in pain as his arm was suddenly shocked by taking off the force of his momentum he slumped against the wall of the tower and took several moments to catch his breath. Slowly climbing up onto the roof he looked back at where he had come from and sighed.
The entire section, and a quite a bit more, of the castle that was Azure's room had been utterly vaporized and what was left looked as if someone had taken a giant spoon and scooped out massive portions of the castle. Wincing in pain his body had regained it's regular flesh and blood composition, and his hand, the one that held the sphere, had been badly charred and burned from the compressed ball of heat and fire he held.
"Well... at least I got his room..."
Slumping down to his knees he began to catch his breath. Reaching up with a hand he felt the burn wound over his injured eye and sighed.
"Right hand... left eye... and I'm just about spent here in terms of power that I can use... Thankfully the lava core form that I was in meant that I was only tossed about from that explosion... I don't know about that guy but if he was in there he's going to be cinders from that burst of fire... and what is with him... someone else takes the girl and I'm stuck fighting him... Maybe I should have listened to Issildia...."

When the sun and the lightning collided, Azure was indeed shocked at the amount of energy that had been released. The following explosion was intense enough to catch the attention of all parties involved in the battle...including that of Akurei's horsemen, and Azure's brothers. As they all gazed at the tower, as its summit erupted as if it were a volcano of sorts, the Horsemen had received a signal from their leader to withdrawl from the battle. Dagaal and Atrista both backed away from their battle, leaving Kuroha and Nahota in their positions at the East and West walls. Dayax watched her scale curiously as the weight of the battle seemed to even out a bit. Azure's figurine was engulfed in flames whick those of Akurei and Reinsen now faced one another. She could not make out the reading, but it seemed as if Azure had fallen from the game. With that, the scale faded into nothingness, and Dayax joined her companions. Kurhoa and Nahota both entered the city where the battle was continuing to wage, but the Maharans that protected the keep, their numbers were fading rapidly. Once the two of them reached the keep, they looked up at the structure for both their brother and whomever caused this destruction.
"Do you see him? He's still alive right?" Nahota asked concerned for his brothers well-being.
"Patience brother. I doubt that would have been enough to end him." Kuroha replied. "There was more energy contained in that blast than I've seen for a while. If anything, he's biding his time."
"Well if that's the case...why don't we pay our respects to the cause of this madness."
"I'm withyou on that. He should still be nearby."
With that, Kuroha and Nahota began to scale the building, both of them running up the side of the keep as if it were flat ground. It did not take them long to sense the presence of Azure's adversary, and their movements showed it. Once they reached his position, on the east tower, they approached him calmly and cautionsly. For if he had enough energy to exhaust some of Azure's power, then he was more of a threat than his appearance suggested.
"You. You're the one that was with that girl."
"Inconceivable."

Looking up at the two who now faced him Sin groaned and slowly stood up. His right hand cracked and chipped off some of the burnt skin as he used the hand for support on the roof. His brow had a thin layer of sweat over it and he was panting lightly as well.
"jeeze... out of the frying pan isn't it.... which girl are you talking about? I’ve seen a lot of them recently.... and most of them are only a little short of psychotic"

Nahota only glared at him when he made his comment. He was not one to be confused by ignorance, and in his current mood, attempting to humor him was a mistake that would prove fatal. He reached to his back and took hold of his scythe, which he named Agony. Kuroha only crossed his arms and began to pace the perimeter of the tower's rooftop. Nahota was obviously seeking vengeace for his brother. Neither he nor Kuroha could sense his presence, which meant one of two things...either his body had been destroyed, or he had taken sanctuary on the Rim. Either way, they did not like the idea of either thought. As he took up his stance, with the blade of the scythe pointed outwards, his eyes began to burn with an indigo flame. His aura could clearly be sensed as he prepared to strike down his opponent. His face lost all emotion, and his eyes narrowed. The keeper of Agony, Nahota had become the most blood-thristy of the three over the years...and it seemed that he would take yet another opportunity to satisfy his thirst.
"You have defiled this sacred ground with your presence long enough mortal. Come, allow me to show you why I am called Raging Darkness."

"well hey how about... no"
With that Sin suddenly leapt backwards and off the roof in one swift motion. From here he fell he managed to start sliding down the wall while his left hand suddenly reached forwards and snagged a massive banister that hung from the tower itself. Holding on for dear life he grimaced as the banister ripped and teared downwards. As his feet hit the ground Sin let go of the cloth and rolled forwards on the ground. Stopping he looked about at the area. apparently a section of the wall had come down and the Maharan's had rushed to the area to defend it from the lavaortian forces.
"crap... knowing my luck those two will be on me for a while now..."
Sighing he stood up and looked at the gap in the wall. Crouching down he suddenly burst forwards, but instead of him just running it was almost as if he was immersed in flames. When Sin reached the first of the combatants he speed suddenly spiked and he littlerly moved through the combatants. When he got to the wall the flame died, much to his dismay, and he lept into the air. From the air he landed first on one troopers shoulders and proceeded to run across the helmets and shoulders of both armies.
Leaping off the last soldier he rolled to a crouch and, seeing the remaining army in his way, took in a small breath and hoped in his mind that he wasn't pushing himself too much. From where he crouched he seemed to vanish in a blur and suddenly from where he just was a streak of fire shot over the land and past the enemy troops towards the forest. Reaching the forest the flames dissipated and Sin reappeared flying forwards and crashing into and through a bush, past several trees, and bounced over several rocks until he came to a stop in a relatively quiet part of the forest, as quiet as it could get anyways.
((sure hope you don’t follow otherwise I’d have to pull out all the stops with sin… and I'd rather not do that yet... sweatdrop ))

As Sin made his retreat, Nahota began to follow, only to be stopped by Kuroha. It took some time to calm him, as Kuroha knew that once Nahota is enraged, he usually would not stop until his enemies were routed. It was only when Kuroha pointed to the adjacent tower that Nahota seemed to calm down. The sight of the flames on the central tower taking on a darker hue was enough to ease the rage of his brother. From the flames rose an armor clad warrior bearing black wings. The flames that consumed his body almost resembling a dragon as he streaked across the sky, to the north, where the Larovians were attacking. A sinial smile crept onto Nahota;s face as his image faded from sight. It was obvious where they were going. Kuroha remained behind a short while, glancing to the south, where the Trenians had been attacking. Baledon sukiyo had fallen, and it was now serving as the no man's land between the two armies. The three of them took no interest in the peons of the battle, no...their targets were those who were controlling them...Reinsen and Darsha Nevar.

Laying back agenst a dirt mound located in some natural ditch, Sin panted and caught his breath while opening and closing his fist slowly. Looking above him through a small gap in the bushes the served as cover for him he sighed and let out a breath of relief. So far it had been quiet and there had been no pursuit by the two that had confronted him on the tower. Shifting his position he slowly reached into a his small back, a miracle it survived, and pulled out a small pouch. From the pouch he pulled out a pinch of dark ash and let it fall to the ground. Watching as it hit the dirt it formed an arrow that pointed off in some direction and allowed Sin a smile.
"so she's still in range then..."

Issildia had only moved a brief distance in the intended direction before an icy chill fell over the area. The ongoing battles in the distance seemed to sink away as all sound but that in the ashen forest clearing remained.
"It has been far too long since our last meeting, daughter...Have you already forsaken the fallen to involve yourself in a conflict that is not yours to share?"
"Reinsen..." Issildia uttered lowly as her back remained turned to her father. Though no apparent thread of bitter rage was present in her tone, it was apparent that she had not forgotten what she had first intended to do upon the destruction of Anier.
"Nothing has been forsaken...least of all those that you brought an end to..." she finally said after a moment of uneasy silence; her voice reflecting a tone of bitter calm.
"And yet here you are beyond the borders taking part in a battle that you have no part in. No daughter...I believe you have forgotten why Anier was destroyed in the first place...as well as those lives that you had a part in ending." Reinsen said darkly with satisfaction.
"We all played our part..." she said coldly as she lowered her head slightly, her back still facing him.
"Indeed." He answered with a slight smirk as his blade became visible from where he held it hat his side. "Though both our roles were no different...You can not deny the fact that we both have blood on our hands Issildia. We share an equal part in the events that led to Anier's most...untimely destruction."
"Yes, we played an equal part..." she admitted; venom becoming noticeable in her voice.
"We are both nothing more than executioners..." Issildia said lowly as she slowly turned to finally face him, her blade held loosely in her right hand.
"And no...I have not forgotten." she uttered with bitterness before she suddenly leapt forward to strike. Reinsen responding immediately in kind, both their blades meeting in a shower of sparks. This time there would be no turning back, for one to succeed...the other could be granted only one path...death.

Sighing Sin took a moment too view his wounds. His eye was slowly regaining it's sight, he could only see blurry shapes out of it right now. And his right hand stung and was cracking in several places but otherwise fine, time was needed now for that. What made Sin frown however was the symbols and seals over his arms. They had become quite apparent and what was more it looked as though they were slowly burning off, like embers on a log.
"Hssst.... I think I’ve just shortened the lifespan of something... anyways I got to find Issildia... I'm too venerable right now..."
Getting up he crawled out of the bushes and leapt into the trees, heading in the direction his ash arrow had pointed to earlier.
