XD Oh, that's precious. So! Before I was distracted by the whole "draw the person above you" thing, I had a mission! I don't know if any of you know and remember chiichan, but she's recently popped back onto Gaia and is thinking about selling some art! Unfortunately, she has no idea how much she should charge since she's been away so long and such. Her DA account can be viewed here, though she hasn't updated in a while. Any input on how much she should charge? I figure I'll gather some links to art shops so she can get an idea of how much others are charging, too.

Hey, what's the go with the drama between Otohime and Gabriel? And why are people always trying to "protect" information about scammers and a drama involving off-site trading? Shouldn't that information be in the public sphere so people know who to look out for? I'm curious - someone fill me in (;

So we keep quiet, or we'll be thrown away from the staff xp

It's pretty obnoxious - people keep going on about how there's this thing they can't mention, but they certainly milk their own importance out of it by mentioning that they know it but can't mention it. I roll my eyes.
It just seems like another lack of transparency issue, which is something Menewsha has about a lot of things, I think.
Of course, I do so enjoy the people who clamour to be made moderators, but maybe I'm just mean like that? (;
Mekania, I'm sure the guild feels exactly the same way about you (;

yeah i hate that secret society thing too.
unless menewsha is being run by a group of manatees [southpark reference ;D ], then i don't know what the big hush-hush crap is for.

then why mention it at all? it's not like anyone really cares that much about people bickering and arguing anyway, even if they are the developers/admins. so the mods speak in code and give little hints to people who already KNOW what happened, like that helps. it eventually [usually the same day] gets out anyway. that's what MSN and AIM are for.
but of course, i know nothing about any of this.

auctions never really determine worth since they usually go really high or really low depending about 80% solely on publicity if you aren't already known on the site. she would probably have to advertise like a monkey to get good bids.
the pricing forum sucks because regulars there don't really know what things sell for [they're all usually very cheap and say things like 'o that's really pretty i'd pay 10k].
i say she opens a shop and wings it. start off at a price she wants then make it higher or lower depending on demand.
