Seth winced as Charcoal took the last hit. It seemed that he was near the end of his line already, but he wouldn't give up. "Don't push yourself too hard buddy . . ." Seth whispered. Charcoal atempted to stand up, but it was just too much. He collapsed on the gym floor barly able to move a muscle. "Charcoal, you did great," Seth said as he returned him into the red and white Pokeball.
After a moment of thought Seth chose a ball from his ivory colored bag. Serenade is just too slow for this battle and I'm gonna save Aero for last. Aura I know you can do this! "I choose you Aura!" Seth called out. An Espeon came out with a flash of red light. She stood in front of the opponent wating for the battle to begin.

"Well if you're sure," Mitsu said, "mind if I tag along?" She had been really hoping for a battle after being fired up from the last one with Wally. The two walked along the tall grass walking their bikes along the way. "Your Vulpix sure is cute," Mitsu said admiring the shiney red coat it had.
Out of no where three Electrike's jump out and formed a circle around the two trainer. "What did we do?" Mitsu said startled. A group of wild Pokemon had never attacked her before for no reason. "Do you have any Pokemon left with you to fight with umm. . .." Mitsu asked not knowing the boy's name. Sapphire jumped in front of Mitsu ready to defend her and the boy if needed be.

"Sure," he said. "We're not doing anything special." He glanced over at her as they started to walk. "He's tough too," he replied to her comment about Vulpix being cute.
Keegan jumped as the three electric Pokemon surrounded them. "We must have invaded their territory," he said, trying to remain calm. Vulpix jumped down from the basket, and readied himself beside the massive Houndoom. The size difference was almost amusing. "Be careful, Vulpix. I know you're still tired from that last battle."

((BACK FROM THE DEAD, and I have a considerably larger amount of RP experince.)) THe hour of the Verdanturf contest had come; Kael was bouncing on his toes in excitement. His Chansey was looking nervously about; checking out the comptition. Neither of them saw anyone who looked particularly good; except for a pretty young woman with greenish blue hair in the corner, who was brushing the fur of an Arcanine.
"Let's hope we don't have to fight her; I don't think Munchlac could beat an Arcanine."
He frowned, and cracked his knuckles. A voice came from the loudspeaker over the door.
"The contest is about to start; will all coordinators please get in line next to the door in the order that was previously assigned."
Kael obliged moving behind three others; all of which had rather weak looking Pokemon. After the first two trainers failed miserably; the third, who was carrying a Magikarp went out and by a stroke of luck evolved. The Gyrados performed a perfect Rain Dance-Icy Wind combo earning it twenty nine points. Now it was his and Chansey's turn. They stepped onto the stage, and Kael hoped that they were gifted with the Gyrados trainer's luck. He threw a Pokeball.
"Go Chansey!"
The Pokemon burst out in a blast of red, pink, and white light. She pirhouetted, and landed perfectly. He smiled, maybe they could pull this off.
"Use Metronome."
The judges frowned, and the audince gasped. Metronome was a very risky move; rarely used in contests. Chansey danced gracefully, its fingers glowing; a cloud formed and rain poured onto the stage. Now all they needed was something to go with it.
"Again Chansey!"
Kael's hopes were answered; a glittering shield of light burst around Chansey, a Light Screen attack, the light refracted in the rain drops, and dozens of tiny rainbows burst into existence. A larger rainbow evanesced behind the smaller ones creating a shimmering light show. THe judges and audince were awestruck. The rain disapeared; leaving behind a light mist smeared with the fading rainbows. The audince clapped, and Kael truend to the judges. Joy smiled, clapping her hands together.
"It was delightful! A perfect ten!"
Kael grinned, and Chansey began to dance. Now the contest hall owner stood.
"It was a risky move kid, and I respect you for having the confidence to do it. Nine."
The final judge stood.
"Remarkable, absolutely remarkable; a perfect performance. Ten out ten!"
Kael's fust pumped the air, and Chanset shrieked in delight jumping onto him. A twenty nine; the gods had smiled upon them.

"Piece of cake," Mitsu said. "Don't push yourself too hard Vulpix, we got this handled." Mitsu gabbed a Pokeball from her pack quickly returning Houndoom and sending out her Gyarados. "Sorry Sapphire you're not quite ready to battle these little fellas yet," Mitsu said remembering his rather weak move set. "All right Nightmare! Scoop up that Vulpix and let's get things started with an Earthquake!"
The Pokemon did as he was told quickly, but gently putting the Vulpix on it's back with it's tail then slamming it to the floor shaking the surrounding area. The three Electrikes looked painly injured already with the damage after it being doubled.

"Nice," said Keegan, giving Mitsu a thumbs-up. It was then he realized he didn't know her name. "We'll finish these guys! Vulpix! Use Heat Wave!"
Vulpix ran down the mighty Gyarados' back, and stood before the trio of Electrike. He gave a cry, and a wave of intense flames engulfed the three. One by one, they toppled, only to scramble to their feet and flee, faster than Keegan had ever seen any Pokemon run before.
"That was awesome!" he cheered, running over and scooping up Vulpix in his arms.
"Vul!" Vulpix cheered, waving his tails around in the air, and looking very happy with himself.

Nightmare used a Roar attack sending them running even faster. "Your Vulpix is strong. My name's Mitsu by the way. Yours?" Mitsu said as she returned Nightmare into his Pokeball. You did great Nightmare! The duo was nearing the Pokemon Center as the building grew larger and larger the closer they got.

"My name's Keegan. It's nice to meet you, Mitsu. And thanks. Your Gyarados is incredible!" Vulpix now walked proudly beside him, refusing to show signs of weakness. "Thank goodness the Pokemon Center is right there," he said. "I just caught an Electrike about an hour ago. It was hurt pretty bad." He glanced down at Vulpix. "I'd sure hate to be on the recieving end of one of those Heat Waves of his."

"Nice to meet yout too Keegan, and thank you Nightmare was quite a handful in the beginning," Mitsu said. he remembered right when he had evolved that he nearly attecked her, but now the two were close. "Your first catch?" Mitsu asked as they stepped into the Pokemon Center. She walked up to Nurse Joy and handed her three Pokeballs. "I think my Gardevoir is quite hurt and same with my Haunter and I think my Ivysaur needs a check up," Mitsu said handing over the three Pokeballs. "We'll take care of it." she asusred Mitsu. That battle with Wally really did you in huh Aura and you too huh Ebony? She turned her attention back to Keegan waiting for a reply.

Blu walked into Cherrygrove City. Suprisingly he hadnt seen a wild pokemon in 2 days. Pichu was still riding on his head.
"Piiiii!" It squeeked as they entered the small but beautiful city.
"I know. We are here." Blu said he sat in front of a tree. He bumped the tree and a small Berry fell. "Here you go Spark. Eat."
The Pichu gobbled the berry and grew happy and stronger. "Pipi PICHU!!"
"Well then there is no use to go to the Pokemon Center. I wonder what Mom is doing? Lets call her."
After a few minutes the other line picked up.
"Hello?"
"Mom."
"Hello?"
"Mom! It's Blu!"
"I am sorry I am not able to come to the phone right now......"
Blu fell to the floor in shock with Pichu. A beep came from the phone.
" Piii PIII Hi Mom. Just calling to see what you are doing. We are in Cherrygrove City, about to leave to Violet and my first badge. Oh! The egg had hatched and it was a pichu, as you can tell. PICHU PIIIPIII Well Call me back later. Bye. " And with a click he hung up the phone as Pichu jumped back on his head.
"Haha. Why am I worrying right? Mom should be worried."
"Pii?"
"Nothing...lets go."
The sun was setting in Johto as he made his way towards the path to Violet City.

Walking down the grassy road to Violet, the grass rustled and a Rattata suprisingly came out and bit Spark to knock him off Blu's head.
"Spark! Are you okay?"
"PiiiPiii"
"OK Thundershock!"
The Pichu explelled a shock of electricity. The rattata was too fast and dodged it. Pichu tried to scramble out the way but was hit hard by a tackle from the rattata.
"Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" Pichu screamed as it got up with a frustrated look on its face.
"Thundershock!"
The Rattata moved to the wrong spot as it was ht head-on. It swaggered for a moment and then fell to the ground.
"Ok. Now to catch you."
The Rattata sprang back to life and ran back into the brush.
"Damn. You okay Spark?"
"Pii Pii PICHU!" It said happily.
The two continue their way to Violet City

"Here you go," Stephanie said as she handed over Sparkle to the nurse.
"She looks fine, just a little tired. I'll fix her up in a second. I'm kind of busy, and I've got more patients with serious injuries, so it may take a while. In the meanwhile, you may have a room upstairs, we have some one night rooms for exsausted trainers. Take your Pichu too, she may need some nurturing." The nurse replied as a badly fainted zigzagoon passed on a tray nearby.
"Ok thanks, Stephanie exclaimed, taking back Sparkle. She snuggly placed her onto her left shoulder, where she always sits and started up the staircase. When Stephanie reached the top, she saw a small counter with a lady reading a book called "What our pokemon don't say...". Stephanie rudely interupted,
"I'm looking for a one night room, do you have one free?" Startled, the lady looked up and thought for a moment.
"Room? Ah! Room! One moment please." she concluded, eyeing Stephanie and Sparkle in jealousy. "I believe the room on your right it free, Winona." She said, handing over a key.
"I'm not Winona," Stephanie harshly interupted. "My name is Stephanie, and I'm her twin sister.
"Oh ok... And I'm Team Rocket! Hahahaha! Kid, if you want to pretend to be someone, at least choose someone realistic." she cackled. Ignoring the lady, Stephanie snatched the key and headed towards the door.

Stephanie entered the old room in caution.
"This place is filthy!" she concluded.
"Piiiiii..." Pichu agreed.
Carefully she took Sparkle and placed her on the bed. She swung her pack off her back and threw it onto the bed also, opening the top. She dug into it with her hand and felt around, as if looking for something. Sparkle looked in curiousness as Stephanie pulled out a shining yellow potion. On it was written,
TM 24
"Oh... I really hope this is Thunderbolt..." she whispered, pulling off the top. Some white smoke abruptly rose from the lid.
"Here, Sparkle, let me give you this, it will make you learn a new move." she said. Pichu hopped over to her and cocked open her mouth. Stephanie poured in the golden liquid.
"Pichu Pi!" Sparkle squeeked in delightment. She loved the taste of the potion. With that she clenched her little fists and concentrated.
"Uhh, Sparkle, what are do-"
"PIIIIII!" Sparkle yelped, unleashing a strong electric bolt.
"Uh, ok, I think the TM worked..." Stephanie managed to squeek as Sparkle electrocuted her.

I thought her name was Sawaki. Please don't change your RP charcaters name it's very confusing. ^^;; If you'd like to you should have posted an OOC posts say so, so that the other RP members also know the change. ^^;; ))
