Laura shrugged. "What would they want with me...take a look I don't have nothing to steal and to most I'm just another human"

It was drizzling at 9pm when Sanchez and Bridget stopped at a dinner called "Rosie's" and you could bet the large man in the kitchen wasn't Rosie and the place had seen better days. But the food was good and prices reasonable, so it drew in a fair enough traffic. Bridget was getting her thermas filled with hot chocolat and Sanchez coffee when a group of five 'punks' came in and started to hassle the customers. Bridget's sixth sense kicked in and they weren't what they appeared to be... Sanchez already had read Bridget's body movements and went on alert.
They seemed to hassle everyone but more so an elderly couple; then they was shooed out by the cook and threats of cops. Bridget and Sanchez tipped the waitress ten dollars for the tip;she could sure use the money then Bridget and Sanchez waited til the elderly couple had left out the door a minute later. Sanchez spotted them up ahead and now he and Bridget had to play tag with them and not let the 'punks' spot that they were being followed. Two were in front of them ...two were behind and the last on was across the road and they were keeping pace with the couple.
The good thing about drizzle was that it muffled sound and scents which would give Bridget and Sanchez the edge if things were going to go wrong. Luck and the crowd helped with surviellance of all the players in this little play. At a darken alley-way the 'punks' made thier move on the couple and forced them back into the alley far enough to where no one could see them nor hear thier pleas of help.
The one across the road was at the alley's entrance and Bridget stepped passed him trying to flirt with him while Sanchez grabbed him by surpise and knocked him clean on his a**. Bridget and Sanchez brought the stunned 'punk' into the alley where they rendered him unconscious then move as quietly as they could to see what was happening. From this distance they looked like Lycans and they were playing with thier prey. The elderly man was trying to hold them off with his cane; his wife had fallen onto the filthy concrete. They both knew what would happen when they grew tired of playing with them.
Bridget pulled her Glock 9mm (mod) from it's shoulder holster and Sanchez pulled out his Desert Eagle and worked thier way as close as possible. That's when Bridget's superior nite-vision told her that they weren't Lycans but Hyenas and thier luck ran out because one looked up and saw Bridget's form along with Sanchez. Three charged and two died with the silver nitrate rounds Bridget ran past the third Hyena(Lycan) and hit one dead center in the heart. The other Hyena(lycan) knocked the glock from Bridget's hand and grappled with her confident in his superior strength. He was the one surprised as he felt Bridget force him back and then do a series of hand, knee, elbow and kicks hit him in rapid succession. The last strike rendered Hyena(Lycan) unconscious and Bridget went and retrieved her Glock.
Bridget hustled the elderly couple out back onto the street and made sure they were okay. Now came the question what to do with these creatures; Haven came to mind...Bridget baby-sat while they put the dead lycans in the trunk and the two live ones doped up with the tranq gun's darts. And headed straight to Haven
((To Haven))

She ran a slippery tongue over her teeth, the red smearing across them. Her nostrils widened as she smelt smoke, then she caught the scent of a vampire within it. She grinned it was the one she had spoken to before. She could smell clearly that she was now well fed. She began in that direction, her breath excaping her in warm tendrils of steam. She continued to walk, her outfit had changed as she changed back into a supposed 'human'. She wore a black leather corset beneath her cloak now, the strapless conformity showing daring cleavage to everyone around her. Her now black leather pants covering tall lace-up boots. She still hooded her face and back, but she was more daring with the neckline in this large change in wardrobe. As she reached the vampire, the heels of her boots clicking on the cement, she walked beside her, absently fondling the noose in her back pocket. She closed her mind as she advanced. She spoke without fault, and neatly cut her words into eachother, seemingly speaking to herself. "You're back." More like muttering than speaking, but she knew the woman could hear her clearly.

~ Eihwa had lifted herself from the bench's cold embrace before striding further along the street, soon to be joined by the female. She doesn't seem to be as threatened by the creature as she once was, but Eihwa is forced to keep her guard up out of habit. "Dear woman, I believe I have forgotten your name..I am Eihwa." In reality she wasn't sure if the Lycan had even told her, so she thought it safe to word it that way. She licks her lips for a moment as her glance is offered beside her, the cigarette in her hand dwindling down to the filter without care. Deep inhilation is turned outward when she sighs, her eyes taking flight to the rooftops and then the sky. ~

Tanith straightened her tie for the fifth time. She was heading over to the Police Station to apply for a job there. She had worked in several different detachments, so she should be at ease with the idea of a job interview.
She wasn't. She adjusts her tie once more. She was wearing a pin striped pant suit, grey 'monk' shoes, with her hair tied up in a double bun. She had no jacket on, just a vest, and a white blouse underneath. A pink silk tie was tucked in the crevase of the vest, in perfect alignment with the rest of her body. She was nervous. She wanted this job so bad, she could practically taste it in the back of her mouth.

A single peice of very light blue hair flew from under her hood with the wind. She tucked in back in with no interest. Her green eyes sparkled as she examined the vampire. She had no need to look at her, she could tell a lot about the woman by her scent. She had a slight problem with the smoke, it hurt her nose slightly, but she merely blocked out that sense. She swallowed lightly before speaking, her throat had begun to ache, she hadn't spoken this much in a long time. "My name is not as well known as your's, but many recognize it. That name is Ishnessnes. Though I go by Suki now. You may call me either, Eihwa." As she said her name, she felt the air jump around her. A passerby began running. She sighed lightly, her gaze lowering to the sidewalk. She always had hated the reaction she got when she spoke her name aloud. Her parents had been subliminally stricking fear into that name for ages now. They had always hated her, and feared her as well. It was because the color of her coat was pure black, very unlike the family color. White. She felt around with her mind for Eihwa's reaction, not knowing if there would be one. She had never said her name aloud to a vampire before, and did not know if it struck fear into their eyes as well.

Her footsteps were so silent it was as if she was floating. Floating on the invisible clouds that engulfed the city, only the gifted ones could walk on them. She was hungry, but where would she find a place where there were many people? Maybe that new club.
"Just a few more blocks." Alexz said to herself.

Her guard seemed to have intensified unwillingly as the words strike against her ears and weed their way through her brain. Eihwa logs them away and smiles politely, discarding her cigarette soon after apologizing. "I should have done that earlier, I'm sorry." They continue to walk and the smell of patchuli replaces the aroma of tobacco. ~

She did not want to see the reaction on Eihwa's face when she spoke her name aloud, and thusly did not look. She looked back at Eihwa when she heard her apologize. "No need to apologize, I've been around it enough with all the factories and such in this city. It can be very ugly at times."She spoke in a calm manner, her eyes back in front of herself, her eyes dancing across the scene in front of her. She sighed heavily, her concerns blocked off in a mental clog. She continued to circle her fingers around the noose in her back pocket.

Travis sat alone at the small cafe, a book propped up in his lap. As always, it was a thick volume on different spectral entities of the world. He wasn't doing this for fun however. He was doing this for research. Ever since Daniel... er... Romero had asked him to help set up a new GB division, he had been researching constantly to find out exactly what he was up against... So far... nothing that modern technology could not handle.

"How's it goin' rookie!" Came a deep and sharp voice from in front of him. When Travis would look up he would see his friend Simon Romero standing in front of him in full uniform. something letting the occasional puff of white smoke out from the black and yellow doors lashed to the nylon pistol belt at his hip. "What brings you to this end of the island?" He asked while cranning his neck to see the pages of his friend's book.

"Cheap coffee and Quiet company, Romero." Travis snapped back. He so hated being interrupted while reading. It was a trait he carried over from medical school. "You've been busy, I see..." His glance flickered to the smoking trap, then back up to his friend's face. "Another class IV?"

"Class five." he said with a bright grinn. He plopped himself down across from his friend and lit up a fresh cigarette after a small bit of a coughing fit. "I managed to pop up in a movie theater. It only took about 10 minuites to round it up but I stayed for the rest of the movie....it was one of my favorites." He said while blowing a puff of smoke at the "No smoking" sign above him.

(( I bet I am going to be Ignored! blaugh stare ))
:: Finn was just on a rooftop, she was just enjoying the night sky. she wondered over to the rooftops edge and looked about at the night sky for a minute; Admireing it's beauty. she looked downwards so that she might kick her legs over when she spotted someone reading a book, and his friend who had a pistol holstered at his hip... why didnt he just shout out that he was a hunter? after all police men didnt carry pistols and shure as hell no normal person is going to have a gun straped to their hip. After seeing this she decided not to swing her legs over but insted layed on her stomach and peered over the edge, watching the two of them.::
