In his typical relaxed fashion, Alex was.. not with the groups running off after Eevee sightings. He seemed content to take in the sights and sounds of Motterossa, but he'd made a note to "Catch one for me, Pen," jokingly.
Or maybe he was just sore. All that traveling on an Onix was hard on someone who had never ridden a Pokemon before, much less a giant rock snake.
Regardless, it was better to see to the Pokemon he had on hand first, and he stepped through the doors of the Pokemon Center, Opal's Pokeball in his hand. The rental Onix had been tired after the long trip. And so was he.

 Suddenly deciding to be a Pokemon trainer does not instantly make one adept at finding and catching Pokemon, Corn came to realize as she was wandering around the woods around Motterossa. She was, as far as she knew, quite a ways from any of the other trainers, and more than likely good and lost. Well, the forest certainly was wild! Pokemon ought to be in there somewhere. Just gotta rely on dumb luck more than anything.[[Whoops, I got distracted :I;;]]

As the two started to move into the forest, Penelope stumbled into them.
"Hey!" She waved. Her feet were caked in mud. "Uhhh... Lumina right? And... Uhh... I don't know your name... I'm Penelope." She seemed out of breath.

Raieth (Okay I agree with it being just the two of us.)
Alex scratched behind his ear. "Yeah, I got lucky."
The electrike grinned. he liked having his ears scratched he discovered.
"Oh I have an idea." She looked at her pokemon. "Can you sniff out any eevee's?"
The electrike thought about it then started sniffing the ground before walking away from them.
"Let's see where he leads us!"  "Following the nose, sounds good to me." Lumina grinned, "Should be enough of an air flow through here to catch any strong scents."
She leaned down and pocketed the berry again, noting some of the foliage in her notebook as possible relevance due to how the eevee hid out near the town. "Think they can climb?" She asked, looking up to the trees, "Though don't think they had much in the way of claws..?"
With a shrug, the watcher gingerly stepped over some roots, brushing aside more of the thick bushes to keep an eye out for prints.

Jypsum straightened her ruffled hair. "You'd come with me?" she clarified, all sparkle-kirakira eyes. "I'd love that!" she exclaimed.

As they settled down near the edge of the forest, Cas waited till Kiyo was out of sight and hopped into his hat. It made the most wonderful napping place after all, and he was quite tired after the excitement of discovering he could write.

@ Meeka and Zin Opal happily interlocked her arm with Meeka's and began walking along with her. Itzal walked alongside Opal while still preening himself in his hand mirror. This heat was doing no good to his complexion. She looked to Zin and saw that Zyk was indeed not looking well. She frowned and looked ahead. There was a small smoothie stand with shaded seats ahead. "Let's go there. They have shaded seats, so that might be better for Zyk. Come on, Zin!"

@Ruhane and Gwyn:  "He actually; Felix is a rare male Delcatty," she said with a giggle. The Delcatty looked a little disgruntled at being mistaken for a girl. "And I'm not really looking to catch an Eevee, so I'm fine staying with one of you," Anise said with a shrug. "Though considering the attack of the riled Electrikes, there might be something around that set them off in the first place, so it might be safer to stay together."
Felix was a little surprised at the Absol's formal speech.

"That's exactly what I was thinking. If we keep our eyes open, we're bound to see another one," Oyumi said lightly, grinning and returning Fuutarou to his Pokeball. He'd done his job, and two trainers were scary enough - she didn't need to keep the Legendary out and risk him scaring off the Eevee.
She stuck close to Rhia as the two girls continued deeper into the forest, keeping her eyes peeled on the underbrush and the trail around them. Surely they'd see something else, right?

((That's Zyk. xD)) @Opal and MeekaZinnia allowed herself to be towed along, and as they got into the shade, Zyk looked better very quickly. Still, Zinnia wanted to give him some water. She turned to Meeka. "You said the drinks were on you?" she asked coyly. She didn't have any money, so she hoped that the other two were generous.

 Terri began to mess with her ribbons, scowling at the heat. Oh, how she hated heat. But at least it wasn't rain. Rain was terrible!
Taking a seat, Meeka set the Pikachu down and sighed heavily. "Ughhhh, this heat is going to be the death of me." she gurgled like a young one. Slapping some money on the table, she nodded her head. "Yea, go and pick out something you guys like. Get me something sour . . . please. I am in no condition to get up right now. Ugh."

Brianna also seemed to feel the need to visit the Pokemon Center, and entered through the doors after Alex.
"Hey," she called to the guy she had met at the beginning of the trip. "How's it going? I managed to catch myself a Meowth." The purple haired girl holding up a pokeball proudly as she handed it and Brutus' ball over to Nurse Joy for healing. She had been training a bit during their stops after all.

"What did you do, run a marathon before getting here?" Lumina teased, pushing further into the forest.
"With it being so hot here, I'm guessing that they'd want to go into darker, cooler spaces to hang out, what with all that fur they have." The watcher looked back to the other two girls, "Think there's any water source in these woods? Bet we can find a creek."
