 L U S T R E P A W- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -"Cool! Can we climb the tallest tree and try to catch squirrels? Or maybe get more berries?"
[Lustrepaw asked brightly, adding the berry part hopefully since Cinderstreak would probably refuse his request after what just happened. Still, it never hurt to try.]
"Hey Cinderstreak, do you talk to yourself? Cuz I don't know, it just seems like you do."
[He asked out of nowhere, but showing no suspicion on his face, only curiosity.]

Cut thistles in May,
They'll grow in a day;

[Burrpelt looked towards the nursery and then to Featherheart.] "Does she? I'll have to hunt with her later then." [he mewed, flicking his tail.] "You learn new things everyday. Another hunt obsessed cat besides me. That seems to be relieving." That is too soon;
Cut them in July,
Then they will die.

"And maybe we could get berries later, but catching squirrels doesn't sound like a half bad idea," I purred, smiling. [My canines showed slightly, making the smile seem more evil than anything, but I didn't care.
I stood up and stepped limberly out of the stream, shaking the water from my pelt somewhat like what a dog would do. the droplets showered against the ground, and I looked back at Lustrepaw to make sure he was following.] "Okay, we can start from a somewhat shorter tree to practice climbing before we go squirrel hunting," I meowed. [Hunting for squirrels would include trying to cross from tree to tree in a reasonable fashion, and I wanted to make sure Lustrepaw had the endurance for it. I didn't mention that out loud of course, because it wasn't like I doubted Cinderstreak's apprentice. I just didn't want to be responsible for Dawnthistle's kit's death or permenant injury....]

smalls tarling, she looked at Wheatear sadly as she slowly padded back to the den.]

[Sullenpaw's immediate reaction to Firestorm moving was frustration, her eyes couldn't move fast enough to keep up with his movements. She felt a harsh, but not painful pressure to her side and her trajectory went from straight to sending her off to the side. She skidded on her side before she hopped up, filling with a determination, or perhaps ambition. Sullenpaw's small figure spun to face Firestorm immediately after she had hopped to her feet. Her eyes stayed plastered to the warriors face, as if she was trying to see into his soul. In reality she was trying to see if his face would give away to any movements of his. Instead of rushing Firestorm, she simply padded up to him till she was one and a half tail lengths away before she dashed around his left side before she twisted around and back-tracked, hoping to cut off any attempts he had of moving. She swiftly hopped off of her back legs, attempting to pounce slightly in front of him. if he hadn't moved, and expected her attack, she would twist around after she had landed in front of him and swipe at the front of his chest- just lightly enough to get some fur in her claws.]

[Lustrepaw nodded firmly to himself, determined that he would start taking his mentor's advice from now on. He trotted briskly after his mentor as he stepped out of the water, shaking his pelt furiously like a dog and spraying his mentor with water droplets. Not that he cared anyway.]
"Ooooh! I see a good climbing tree!"
[Without any warning to Cinderstreak, Lustrepaw turned around to start a headlong dash towards a tree with branches jutting out. He furrowed his brows in a determined manner, and at the last second before he hit the tree trunk, he leapt high into the air, landing with all four claws digging deep into the trunk.]
"Whee! I'm on the top of the world!"
[He yowled loudly even though he wasn't that high up, scaring a few birds away from the tree as they flew away, squawking warnings to their fellow companions.]

Softpaw''Live in the present, let go of the past..''_________________ [Softpaw padded softly on the forest floor. She stopped right in her tracks, sniffing the air.] Mouse. [She dropped into her hunter's crouch. She began to sneak up on the mouse. Soon it was in plain sight. She jumped quickly and killed it off with a single blow. It was a fat one, perfect for the queens!] Now only a couple more. [She dug a hole and dropped her catch in it and hurried to another spot to hunt. Soon enough she had to come back at least two times to get her prey. Her tail was high in the air, showing pride in herself as she brought the last batch of fresh-kill. She quietly took the fat mouse and headed for the nursery. She poked her head in and dropped the mouse at Dawnthistle's paws.] "For you Dawnthistle!" [She said happily.] _________________

directly on Sullenpaw. She moved around him, circling him. Yet,
his gaze was straight ahed. As Sullenpaw began to pounce,
Firestorm figured she was going for an attack. Firestorm back
tracked against a tree, now a fox length away. "Speed and
Balance... those are things we will need to work on... speed
more importantly. And figuring out your enemies movements as
well..." He spoke in a calm voice. He looked up at the trees.
The trees shall help her balance, and quickness as well...
He looked back at her face.
