((Yeah, I figured you were gonna attack, but as you said you've got to go. Talk to you later man.))
Sighing as the man left, his eyes met with a very infuriated Hirose. "This is not my day," the clone seemed to mutter to himself quiet enough so no one could hear. He then looked at Hirose. "Men were sent to kill you. You know that however, because you've killed two of them. I almost hired that guy, but he was not too keen on the idea. But I'm starting to think that it's a lost cause trying to kill you Hirose. I'll admit, you're a pretty damn good shinobi. But you've gotta see it from my point of view. Every time we met, it was during battle. And every time we met, we were not on good terms. So you can't in all good faith say that when you killed Zane Hajime, I was exactly pleased with that outcome." If there was one thing that rivaled Luo's shinobi skills, it was his speaking skills. However, what he spoke was the truth.

Hirose remained silent as he let Luo talk. When he was finished Hirose reached up and tugged on his hood. "You're a fool, Luo Ushio." The Raikage stepped further into the room. "We did not always meet on the battlefield. There was a time where we could've been friends, as Zane wanted us to be. But you..." Hirose flash backed to the first time he and Luo ever met.

Luo1304
Looking down at the boy, Luo sighed remembering this to be the cloud kid from the office. Pushing the boy out of the elevator, he smiled politely. "Sorry kid, private elevator for Zane and I."

"Zane trusted me, and I did not let him down even as I took his life away. You, however, from the moment you've first met me it was always with distrust and rejection."

Luo1304
Sighing once more, Luo pushed the kid out of the elevator, with a bit more force. "I know you can speak, I've heard you do it. Which means, I know you can hear. This elevator is for Zane and I. You are not allowed on."

"There was once a time I even bet my life to help you. I broke the rules so that we might've grown strong together."

Fenrir Graveheart
Hirose glanced at Zane and Luo, and then held up the map that revealed the location of the hidden mist scroll they'd been searching for.

"Still...the results were the same."

Luo1304
As a sigh of relief escaped his mouth, Luo nodded at Tares, grabbing the scroll and looking at it before chuckling to himself. At the top of it, the anbu had written, "If this boy gives you this scroll, then he has tried to penetrate the inside facilities of the library. We ask that you either arrest, kill, or kick this individual out of the village immediately for attempted conspiracy. - Mist Anbu." The scroll had a crudely drawn map on it that led to in fact the middle of the ocean. Tearing it up after reading it out loud, he nodded towards the boy at Tares. "Take him out of the village and watch the docks for seven days. At the least, leave a water body clone there. Zane has one in his office, and I'm about to dispatch one to stand in front of the training facility. If this boy tries to return, kill him on sight. I can't tell you how important it is that this facility in its entirety remain undisturbed for the next week." As Luo finished speaking, he formed hand seals as two water body clones formed from moisture in the air, bubbling out into his likeness. "Guard the front and back entrances by any means necessary. No non mist shinobi is allowed to enter for a week." With a nod, they walked out to their stations.

The flashback ended, and Hirose stood at Luo's desk now. "Now...see how much we've grown."

Luo chuckled to himself lightly. "My my how those who choose to forget remember things. If you were someone I trusted, you would have known that Zane and I were in training and needed not to be bothered. However, you chose to persist in following us until I had to have you removed from the village. It is your persistent nature which forced my hand Hirose. I also seem to remember you poking your head around in areas you were not to be in, as in the library, looking for things you shouldn't know about in the first place. Where I come from, that's called theft. You prevented a team of the mist from getting to their own Mizukage's body by threatening to melt the ice he was encased in, and finally you actually killed the man you so trusted. I didn't trust you from the beginning because you never gave me a reason to as I found you to appear everywhere I was, including my home. I don't take kindly to being followed, no shinobi does. So don't twist my words into something malicious. I didn't trust you because you didn't give me anything to trust you for other than Zane. You didn't even tell me your name, something people usually give others as the first and foremost sign of trust." Luo stared at the man's hood. He didn't take kindly to his words being recalled in a twisted matter, but on some aspect he saw where he was coming from. It just wasn't all that logical to assume he actually went out of his way to be on good terms with Luo.

"The past is not something you need to explain, only learn from." Hirose knew that he could've explained all of his past actions to Luo. He could've tried to make Luo understand, but didn't. "I have but one question to ask before I am through here. Do you trust me now?"
PostPosted: Wed Oct 21, 2009 10:56 pm

Luo sighed a bit as it was best to let that matter go. "To be honest, I don't fully trust anyone but my own men, and even among your own men their is sometimes deceit. I can say that I trust you enough to think trying to kill you is a stupid idea and I have no reason to keep sending man after man after you."

"We'll work on your trust later, but for now-"Hirose looked up from his hood so that it raised itself just high enough for Luo to catch a glimpse of a sharp silver-colored eye staring back at him. "I'll keep in touch." Then he mysteriously just vanished in a gust of wind.

Luo laughed lightly to himself muttering, "Always an interesting character." Luo thought about it for a moment. Maybe, just maybe he could trust the man. Then they could have the alliance that has existed between cloud and mist since the first kage.

Matsuya sighed as Hirose vansihed. "Really?" His hand moved from the wakazashi on his waist to rest next to him. "I have no idea what is going on anymore. First, the rings. Now, there are people coming into our village and threatening us. It's ridiculous. I thought you sealed the gates to outsiders." Matsuya was inwardly annoyed, but he wouldnt show that side in front of one of the few people who could best him at melee combat.

Luo shook his head. "The gates were opened once more while you were at the exams. There are some vendetta's in life that you must let go of sometimes. Killing Hirose is not as important as the safety of my villagers. I'm not going to try and kill the Raikage of all people in the middle of my own village, especially considering I'm a clone. I think I've made my point with him, and to be honest I don't think the man could have handled another battle after what he just did. Threats have no meaning behind them without action, they're just empty words."

Matsuya's face looked puzzled. He was looking at his own hands. "Sometimes words can cut deeper than any blade. Sometimes words change a person, for better or for worse." Matsuya sighed, leaning over his knees. "It's different now. Before, back when I was nothing, the world seemed peacefull. Now I dont know if I'm going to live to tommorow. More and more people seem to want to fight these days." Matsuya's head tilted up looking at Luo. "Not that I'm not up for a fight or anything. I just wish the world could stop for a little while, and we could all just be....... normal." He sighed again. "But we chose our lives as shinobi, we can't change it."
PostPosted: Thu Oct 22, 2009 8:15 pm

Luo nodded with a smile, standing up and walking towards the jacket he had hung on the wall next to the window. Picking it up, he looked at the name on it and back at Matsuya, throwing it to him. "It seems you're finally starting to get it Matsuya. Choose your words carefully enough, and there is no need to draw your blade. You can defeat an enemy without the flick of a wrist. But it is our duty to be able to draw the blade if necessary. You have earned my respect Matsuya, and you have done well in your exams. The others have agreed that you have eared their respect as well, thus you have earned his jacket. Treat it well, it's not everyday a shinobi gets to wear a relic like that." Luo felt a bit proud of the boy. It seems that the boy was very much capable of thinking intently outside of the battle field, and that was what Luo wanted of him. "You are now a jounin, so I can now officially say this: Welcome to the mist 7, Swordsman of Storms."

Matsuya smirked, catching the jacket. "Thank you. I dont plan to make you regret saying that either." He set the jacket on his knees, he didn't want to wear it so soon. "Im a jounin, huh? That means I can continue my training. And I'll get s squad if any beceom available, right?" He smirked again. He liked the thought of teaching new genin.

LT walked in and looked round, "Are the dudes from the other places all gone? Im assuming Hirose left as well." LT walked over to his chair and sat down next to the coffee maker. He sighed and started making another pot of coffee as he noticed that Matsuya had the jacket, so he a Jounin now eh. Well good for him. "So, Mizukagesama, it seems to me like you have a new Jounin now... does that mean i am relieved of my.... duties and rank?" LT asked nervously putting the coffee grinds in the brewer.
