"As advantageous as that offer may seem...I believe that we have a conflict in views...." she said coolly.
"A time will come when I will deal with my father, it may very well be this day. But I have never been the sort to comply with the sort of...bargain...you are suggesting." As she spoke there was a subtle flare of heat within the surrounding area as the fires she had conjured roared higher, beginning to combat the icy ring that surrounded she and Sin's brother.
"And I would never question Sin's loyalty...more to the point...I do not expect undying allegiance of him. But whether he decides to betray me or not... sometime in the future, for one reason or another... I will not simply hand him over to the likes of you."

"To the likes of me...?"
Grevious sneered and laughed a few times at Issildia closing his eyes for a moment. Suddenly the Ice around them surged forwards like a wave over the fire and collapsed upon the fire with a almighty crash that shook the ground around them. When it finally stopped the area around them had taken on a dark blue hue and the ice encased everything from the ground, to the trees, and even the fire itself. In fact the entire area had done dead silent, even the battle just outside the forest had gone quiet, save for the subtle sounds of cracking ice here and there. As Grevious re-opened his eyes he looked at Issildia.
"you, nor Reinsen, truly understand the powers that you are dealing with... We are the Furies... we posses the very primal elements that once created this world... Sealed away by the Monkoto-"
He raised his arm and slowly the ice began to creep over it, reviling an intricate series of seals, bindings, and runes covering the entire length of Grevious's arm.
"-these are the only things that truly have a chance of containing our powers when something ultimately.... Unfortunate… happens. I seek Sin to make sure that, never happens.... Now you can choose to either accept my help, Or chose not too… and force me to change my suggestion into a demand...."

Issildia made no move that suggested that she had taken Grevious's words to heart, though she knew well enough of the strange runes that bound Sin's power. But whether this man was speaking the truth or not, she had far different plans than those that he had envisioned.
"You are no different..." she said with a cloaked expression that gave only the briefest impression of sarcasm, evading all sense of sincerity. "You...my father...Darsha...the Ryera......You have little in common except...that you believe yourself to be a god...truly immortal and invincible...worthy of both mortal and divine praise alike." Issildia paused for a moment before continuing, her eyes taking on a darker hue that seemed akin to her fathers...the air losing a slight bit of its bitter frigidity.
"You can find Sin on your own...for I will not have a hand in this endeavor of yours. Besides..." Issildia said as her body slipped into a defensive position; blade held to her back at a horizontal angle and her free left hand positioned a short distance from her body to maintain her balance. "If you are indeed so powerful...you should confront little difficulty in finding your brother on your own time."

"My time is what is limited although my powers are not..."
Grevous slid one foot back while sliding the other so that he was now facing her from his side. With his hands he took up a Monkoto fighting stance and the ice along his arms and body almost crackled with small blades that formed themselves along his armor.
"But what about you...Issildia Nevar.... moving about from one moment to the next.... interfering and deciding the fate of not only cities and countries but of those very people who's powers you chose to scoff.... You may claim that we play the part of Gods, yet can you deny the very same allegation.... you who would so willingly bring her comrades and friends to their deaths, you who would change history and the fate of the world because you feel like your needs justify it, you who's actions are only driven only by what YOU want and not the needs those around you.... you are the one playing with peoples lives... people who trust you, have faith in you, and willingly follow you to their deaths.... Do we act as gods over people and demand them to praise and worship us? perhaps... but, you who chose to act upon your own whims and desires to determine the fate of those around you, claiming that you care what happens to them... you would condemn us for acting in the same manner as yourself...."
Sneering at her he slowly took a step back. The ice around them slowly began to creep forwards, climbing up his legs and over his body, encasing him in their frosty depths.
"You are not so different then your father Issildia or of any of us.... out of respect for Sin I will not fight you this day... but do not presume to know better then these villains in this little drama you take part in.... for you are no better yourself..."
The ice slowly finished encasing him and from within he faded from sight. Once his body had dissipated the ice suddenly cracked and then broke into millions of pieces, all of which fell to the ground like a soft snow.

Seishin stood gazing blindly across the plains at Kotsuzui, who faced him as well but was instead interested on the small battle that was taking place between them.
Seishin and Kegawa had left their allies days ago, leaving their small camp under the cover of darkness. The presence of their remaining brothers had nagged at the edges of Seishin's mind even using Kojin's enhancements of his senses. They had traveled far and and swiftly and had manage to make it miles south of Trenia Sekia in good time, to where the presence of the counterparts of fire and water; blood and bone were located.
Kegawa back as he met the ground with a thud, though keeping his balance. He smirked as he wiped blood from his busted lip. His eyes widened and he rolled suddenly as a thick formed whip of blood lashed at him.
"Ha! You'll have to do better then that Ketsueki!."
Kegawa spoke as he rolled through the grass, wasting no time as he jumped forward towards his brother of blood. Ke
Ketsueki was covered in a case of blood that enveloped his entire body. The whip was not merely a weapon but an extension of his arm. By gathering water from the soil with his elemental abilities his amount of blood was limitless. His own cells were combining themselves with the water producing more and more blood.
He laughed manicly as he dodged Kegawa's charge in motions that would lead to accusations that if he were made of water himself. He swung his large extension of an arm around, whipping at Kegawa once more, but to no avail.
"You bore me brother..."
He spoke confidentally sure that he was more than a match for Kegawa. The blood around his arm rceded, evaporating into a red mist as he aimed his opened palm towards Kegawa.
"It is time to end this!"
As Ketsueki spoke behind his red mask of blood Kegawa had already realized his plan as he landed on the ground with a thud, thrusting his forearm into the ground with a solid punch. His tattoos of ancient runes that covered his body came to life suddenly as they circled and connected to each other line of runes hastily. His pody suddenly became bulky as it took on the rough, large shapes of stone. He wasnt shielded or armored by stone, but had become stone itself allowing him to resist His brothers underhanded attack of removing the blood from his body through his pores, by summoning the water in his human host. He slammed his second forearm into the ground, which was immediately pulled deeper and suddenly tangled with vines that reached up from the ground and up the length of his arms. Their opposite ends suddenly broke through the soil surrounding Ketsueki tangling and warpping themselves around his body until he was unable to move.
" It seems we are at a stand-still, ketsueki. No cannot move as long as you're binded by mother nature herself and her unescapable element... And I cannot remove myself from her otherwise I would lose my hold over you as well as my current form. Have I passed your test?"
Kegawa smirked as he spoke in an echoey earthy tone, unlike his own.
The mask of blood encasing Ketsueki's head separated receding into his pores as well as to his neck. He glared across the grassy battlefield at Kegawa furious that he had lost, though he would hold no grudge against him. Nor did he have a deathwish for him; It had been merely the rush and the excitement the battle had caused. An experience he had not had felt for many years. His face softened into a smirk.
"Yes... You've passed." Ketsuiki hissed as he chuckled loudly.

Issildia remained silent and motionless as he departed; the forest now silent as the few larovians that had survived fled to rejoin the main force that attacked the city. The ice and snow that had remained behind; cloaking the area with a chilling white blanket, began to emanate a subtle cracking sound.
Still Issildia did not move in the slightest as the ice was suddenly consumed with a great flare of dark sapphire hued flames that seemed to consume the very one that had conjured them. But only moments after the fire had been resurrected the flames immediately died out. As ash from the scorched trees and remnants of the larovian force that she and Khastur had dealt with drifted to the ground, Issildia wordlessly strode out of the forest back towards the city where the Larovians and Trenians were attempting to bring Baledon Sukiyo to its knees.
She didn't bother in sheathing her blade, for it would be needed all to soon to grant her a path through the enemy soldiers to the city, for she intended to reach Sin before he managed to find himself in more trouble than he could handle. Though Issildia suspected that he had already accomplished what she feared.

Azure only scowled as he approched the boy that had infiltrated his Keep. How he managed to gain entry was a mystery that even he could not solve. Apparently he had underestimated the cunning of his opponent...or so it seemed. He took hold of the hilts of his blades...Kamakaze and Dark Sentinel, slwoly drawing them from the sheathes as he sunk into a fighting stance. Judging by the way he held his blades, it could be seen that at any given time, he would have been prepared to attack....and given what had been witnessed during his battle with the Larovian Princess, he was indeed a force to be reckoned with.
"No response? Very well. I suppose I must draw the answers from your blood....In ways that even the fate would not bestow upon you." twisted

A small camp had been set up occupied by four men. Each were outcasts and nomads, yet posessed by fractions of an entity.
Kotsuzui of the Bone gazed into his palm and into the flames that danced in it then to the larger flames that roared in the center of their camp. Surrounding the fire on each side were the others. Kotsuzui was rather quiet and mostly chose to keep with mouth shut if the choice was ever given. He did it even now as he listened to the others. Gazed into his hand as he continued to listen to their conversation. His word, however, still mattered t o them all.
"So where to now Kegawa?"
Seishin raised a brow curiously as he gazed blindly across the flames at Kegawa. The image, of course, was relayed into his mind by Kojin. Kojin seemed to be the only part of the entity that was able to communicate to it's host. Although being Seishin of the Mind, he obviously knew why.
"Will we go back to the others?"
"Yes... I gave my word."
" What's all this about... Only just have we all come together at last after hundreds of years, and already we've been drafted into some war that has nothing to do with us?"
Of the four, Ketsueki of the Blood had the worst attitude. Most likely his part of the seperated entity was posessed with darkness of it's soul, fitting with the blood that posessed him.
"I gave my word that I would prove myself. Yes, at the time it was a selfish move, thinking that perhaps He would be able to help them. I did not think of your opinions on it."
"Even If I chose to go, how could He help. We have yet to locate Daichi Tosaka, which holds the last of him."
"you mean..."
Kegawa of the Flesh gave a smirk as he pushed the hair from his face, his yellow eyes bright with the reflection of the flames between him. He then reached down under his shirt, collecting the twig that hung at his neck into his hand. He withdrew it from the inside of his shirt, letting the small rune covered twig dangle on the small leather thread that it hung on, as Kegawa twirled it in his fingers. The small twig pulsed lightly in response to his touch and the presence of the gathered four. His tone became rather smug as he finished his sentence.
"...This?"
Ketsueki sighed lowly as he gazed at the small twig that hung at Kegawa's neck. he shrugged it off slightly as he his glare turned out towards the darkness of the night.
"...It does not change my opinion on the matter."
"Look Ketsueki. I am not forcing you into anything. But I have given my word an I will not go back on it. If you... Or any of you for that matter want to leave me to this alone, you are givin the choice."
Ketsueki rose to his feet as if he had been waiting for the words to come.
"Well then.. I guess I will see you in the next hundred years or so."
"Ketsueki..."
Kotsuizi finally spoke up, his tone soft and barely audible yet still heard by each of them. The flame in his hand had just died because he had let it, forgetting to to tend to its needs as he listened to their small argument. He gazed up at his older opposite.
"...We must help our brother, Ketsueki. We are of one, and so should our choices should be. If Kegawa needs us we should help. You and I know, that he must be revived if we are to help aid his friends. We have been seperated for decades, We've obviously been brought together now for some reason beyond our knowledge...Something He has most likely designed. In the aftermath if we survive, we can seperate again until He is needed. You know it is what we must do."
Ketsueki sighed once more, finally accepting the truth of his words.
"Very well... We must revive him soon then..."

Watching silently as the scene unfolded in front of him he sighed as Azure readied his swords and prepared to attack.
"Figures... I come here expecting to figure out what the hell is going on and this happens.... jeeze..."
Looking up at Azure he took his hand away from his wound and looked at the blood covering it.
"I doubt there's going to be any way that I can convince you to let me tend to this wound first before you go all 'worse then fate' on me huh? No... I didn't think so..."
Taking his finger he placed it at the very tip of the wound and quickly slid it down over the entire cut, as if slicing it himself, from where his finger trailed over the gash a smell of burning flesh rose and the wound cauterized. When his finger passed over his eye however a searing sound could be heard and Sin suddenly fell to his knees grimacing in pain.
"Damn.... that smarts...."
Kneeling where he was for a moment he suddenly looked up at Azure, the eye that the wound passed over looked burnt and white from what he had just done, and continued to grimace for a few moments more.
"Normally I wouldn't have bothered with the wound when facing whoever she was.... but you look to be a little more... let’s go with ‘interesting’..."
He smiled and stood up. He held out his hands and slowly brought them together shifting their position quickly. Slowly took up a Monkoto fighting stance and readied himself.
"I suppose I should be grateful however.... Swords are something I can deal with..."

Azure only smirked once he took up his stance. His movements, his techniques, they were all unfamiliar to him, as he had never faced such a warrior in the passed. An ancient one he was, and most likely his slumber had caused him to miss such encounters. As their stalemate came to an end, Azure leaned foward and with a thrust of his legs, he was propelled toward Sin the wind aiding his movements. Their space was limited, but in there was still room to swing a sword. Once he neared his position, he raised his right blade to his rear, in a reverse grip, and swung his left blade in a horizontal slash aimed at Sins throat.

"Listen pal, I'd rather not- WHOA!!!"
Sin suddenly found himself staring down Azure's sword as it made a collision course with his throat. Suddenly hearing a massive creaking above him and he leapt backwards while raising his hands above his head. Above him the fire from the rafters and ceiling above suddenly grew in intensity. Staring at the advancing Azure, Sin grinned for a moment, then shouted, while bringing his hands downwards.
"TIMBER!!!"
With both hands down the fire on the wood suddenly exposed and blew off a large chunk of the wooden rafters above. With the suddenly lack of support from the beam and the downwards force of the explosion and massive piece of lumber came crashing down in-between Azure and Sin.
As it crashed into the ground between them Sin slid to a stop from his leap back and clasped his hands together. Rubbing them quickly he watched as the fire around the room continued to consume whatever was burnable.
"Get it? it was a peice of timber... and I made it fell.... Timber...."
Still Rubbing his hands together he waited for Azure to break though or around the wreaked ceiling in front of him.

Azure glared at the comedic warrior as he stood normally. The heat from the flames not botherring him in the slightest. As the flames began to spread into the corridor outside, Azure's body vanished, fading into the air as if he were an elemetal. The flames within the chamber had all beun to take on a darker tone, as their colors shifted from the norm to a deep black, that gave off an indigo light. It was then that Azure's body reappeared, only it was not where one would have expected to see it. It was in fact from below, as he emerged, from the very shadow of his opponent, crossing his blades together to take out the legs of his opponent.

As Sin stood there, still rubbing his hands together, when he suddenly noticed Azure below him slideing his blades together and launching his attack.
"What?!? DAMN!"
Sin tried to leap away but it was a second to late as the blades sliced together and cut through his legs like a hot knife through butter. A few expressions most people would have expected their opponents to have on their face after their legs had been cut off, a smile was not one of them. As the blades cut through him with little effort suddenly the cuts and blood were replaced with fire as, from where he legs had been lopped off, Sin's entire body was engulfed in flames and just as suddenly it died out leaveing nothing but wisps of ash. From a corner of the room the fire took on a more natural hue and Sin stepped out of the roaring inferno, still smileing.
'Damn that was a close one.... closer then I'll bother to admit to him though...'
As he walked out of the fire his hands were still rubbing together and, after stopping, he pulled them apart and brought them to his face forming a large 'O' with them in front of his mouth. From inside his fingers the very air seemed to shimmer and wave as if some great heat was distorting it.
'Time to see if you can stand the heat...'
Bringing his hands close to his mouth he took in a deep breath and blew it out like a wistle towards Azure. The shimmering suddenly expanded and shot forwards at him as the heat from the attack distorted the air around itself and several objects, that weren't already on fire, simply burst into flames from simply being grazed by the heat wave.

As Jan's body disappeared in the flames that marked his presence, Azure stood normally and awaited his opponent's next assault. He returned his bladed to their sheathes, and tightened his gauntlets. As the heat raced toward him, he held out his hand in front of him, causing what seemed to be a wall of Black Ice to rise from the ground, taking in the heat of his attack, and shielding him from harm as well. It was after this event that Azure's voice could be heard once more...not from the front, however, but from behind Sin.
"It appeares that I overestimated your abilities child. A disapointment to say the least." stare
