Tairu found a quiet isolated spot to train in. Taking out a note book from one of the pouches on his belt Tairu flipped through it's pages looking for the sketches he had drawn of other Hyuuga doing hand seals. Ok, fithe first sign is Tori. he thought while attempting to get his fingers in the right positions. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod. = (#)]. DC: 12 Total Seals Learned: 0/12 **No Hp or Cp cost. Rewards: +1 Intelligence, +3 Concentration (one-time only) [13]+[-1] = [12]

He looked at his hands and the hand seal that he had formed. His spirits increased as it dawned Tairu that he had done something right on the first try. This feeling of success was a new wonderful experience. Maybe I can finish this training before morning and then show to_san! Tairu thought as he dreamed about the feature. He continued to look at the sketches and picked out the next hand seal. The second hand seal was the boar. Looking at the sketch he once again copied the image with his hands. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. Failing to perform the bear hand seal Tairu's moral plummeted. Self doubt started creeping into his mind. With his hope shaken he looked at the bear seal's picture once more and positioned his hands to match it. Alright, I can do this he thought while trying to stay positive. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. Pushing the doubt back out of his mind he looked at his hands the succesfully executed bear seal. He studied it carefully to prevent himself from forgetting the hand seal. Tairu then turned the notebook page to the Inu seal. He practiced putting his hands in the right position. Ok, it's just and open palm over a closed fist, I can do this he thought picturing the seal in his mind as his practiced it Oh crap, wait is it the right hand over the left hand, or ist the left hand over the right hand? he thought. "Well this time I'll try my right hand over my left hand." he mumbled quietly. Tairu then prepared to try learning the seal. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. Tairu failed for the second time and doubt started to come back. This time it crawled a little bit further into his conscious mind.Thoughts raced through his mind: I'll never be able to impress everybody if I can't even do a simple hand seal, everyone is going to keep on thinking that I'm a loser, I'm such a failure. The last thought stung him deeply. "No I can't think like that, I have to stay positive or else I 'll never be able to do this!" he said out loud in an attempt to boost his own confidence. Studying the picture he made sure he was copying the hand seal right. Firmly planting his feet Tairu looked one more time to make sure that his hands were in the right positions. "Alright I am going to learn this hand seal!" he said out loud once more. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. That's it, All I have to do is just put my mind to it and I can do it. I will learn all of the hand signs before tomorrow! he thought. Smiling Tairu looked through his sketches for the next hand seal. The next one up was the Tatsu. This hand seal looked a lot harder than the last one and Tairu frowned a little. Looking at the picture he placed his hands together and then interlocked his fingers. Looking back and forth between the book and his own hands he checked to make sure he was doing it right. Noticing that one of his fingers was misplaced he then changed it to match the picture. Ok, everything looks good, but I should still double check. he thought. Tairu looked at the picture and then at his hands once more. Seeing that everything looked fine Tairu decided to try it. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. Okay, that's four of twelve, now it's time time to move onto number five. Tairu flipped through the pictures looking for hand seal number five. Now it was time for the Ushi hand seal. Tairu looked at the picture, so you make a t and then interlock your fingers. Tairu practiced bringing his hands and fingers together and making the seal. He did this for almost three minutes before realizing that one of his fingers was in the wrong spot. Studying the picture again he separated his hands and brought them back together. Tairu kept an eye on the picture in his book as he put his hands and fingers back into the right position. Okay, everything looks good. Before attempting to try the Ushi hand seal Tairu looked at the picture and his hands once more just to verify that he was doing it right. Alright, I can do this he thought right before he attempted to use the Ushi hand seal. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. Tairu looked dismally at his hands as he realized that he failed yet again to do the hand seal on his first try. Other Hyuuga would have gotten all of these by now. Tairu just stared at his hands for a couple of minutes. I just have to work ten times harder if I'm going to live up the Hyuuga name. Tairu practiced making the Ushi seal again. He put his hands together like a t and then moved each of his fingers to the correct spot one at a time. I have to able to do this if I'm going to impress to_san. He carefully repeated his practice motion for another three minutes. Okay, I just need to remember the motions: bring my hands together in a t shape, lace my two inner fingers together, and then release my chakra into the hand seal. After reviewing the motions Tairu tried to do the Ushi seal once more. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Failure yet again. Tairu was slowly slipping downward into despair. He was really starting to become frustrated that he couldn't even learn a simple hand seal. Why is this damn thing so hard to do? It's the most basic thing possible. Tairu sat down on the ground and just looked up to the sky. Thinking back on the first four seals he learned and what they felt like. Trying to capture that feeling Tairu formed the hand seal again. He tried to reach the same feeling as the first four. Tairu systematically formed the hand seal over and over again practicing. I have to be able to do this I'm a Hyuuga. Studying the picture Tairu continued to practice getting his hands and fingers in the right position. When Tairu was satisfied he attempted to do the Ushi hand seal for the fourth time. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Tairu smiled at the hard work he had put in to finally succeed with the Ushi hand seal. Alright if I keep pouring in effort I can master the twelve hand seals. Tairu looked through his book for the sixth hand seal. Tairu found it quickly since he had already completed five of them. The sixth seal was the Tora seal. While examining the hand seal Tairu realized that the Tora hand seal was fairly similar to the Tori hand seal. If I make the Tori symbol and then lock my fingers together over my palms it forms the Tora hand seal. Tairu practiced with his hands and fingers like he had done on the previous five hand seals. He practiced for seven minutes and double checked his form to make sure it was right. This is the sixth hand seal, so if I learn this one I'll be half way there he thought before trying to do the hand seal. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. Tairu had gained a significant confidence boost after his achievement with the Ushi hand seal and as a result his most recent failure barely fazed him at all. It will be okay as long as I keep trying and put my best effort into it. Tairu watched him self carefully as he slowly formed the Tora hand seal. He studied it and then compared his hands to the pair in the picture. Oh ok, my index finger was in the wrong position. Tairu did the hand seal slowly so that he could make sure that he had eliminated the index finger misplacement from his form. After working to remove that flaw for over eight minutes Tairu started doing it faster and faster until he was making the hand seal as fast as possible without error. This is it, I am going to master this hand seal he told him self. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Tairu's confidence soared as he learned the sixth hand seal. Yes, I'm already half way there. I will definitely prove the other Hyuuga wrong about me being a failure. Tairu looked in his book for the seventh hand seal; he quickly found it. Next on Tairu's list was the Mi hand seal. This one was by far the second easiest looking hand seal because it only involved putting your palms together and then inter locking your fingers. Tairu practiced the same way as the last hand seal in the hope that it would work well with this hand seal as well. Starting slow, Tairu brought his palms together and then interlocked his fingers one by one. Tairu repeated this motion and then slowly increased his speed just like he did with the Tora hand seal. Once again Tairu decided to try the hand seal once he was going at his top speed. Handseals The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. So I set them to learning all twelve. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. They must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. There's no need to worry about not getting it on the first try Tairu thought to himself for reassurance that he was still doing well. I'll get the Mi hand seal right when I do it this time. Tairu looked at his form for errors as he tried to deduce what he did wrong. Creating the hand seal slowly Tairu watched each step for his error. Seeing no errors Tairu sat down to think about what else he could be doing wrong. Well maybe my movement wasn't fluid enough, or maybe I just didn't do it fast enough. Tairu just sat there for three, almost four minutes thinking about what could be his error. Finally Tairu stood up and decided that he would try going faster first and then try to make his movements more fluid. Tairu then proceed to try and make the Mi hand seal for the second time. The Mi hand seal had eluded Tairu for the second time. Hm, I should definitely look again to see if I'm doing this right. Though I really don't know how I could screw this one up. In order to make sure that he was doing the hand seal correctly Tairu went back to basics. Slowly forming the hand seal multiple times and then increasing the speed at which he formed each successive hand seal. Repeating this exorcise for seven minutes Tairu began to feel confident again that he could succeed this time. I know that I can master this hand seal. Just go through the motions: one, bring my palms together, two, put my fingers together, three, interlock them over my palms. Hoping that he would be successful this time Tairu concentrated hard and then formed the Mi hand seal for the third time.
